No More Using Inexperience As A Crutch

December 22nd, 2021

Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians.

The Bucs have played 14 games. Two games shy of what once was a full season and three games short of what is now a full season.

So inexperience or being a rookie, Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians doesn’t want to hear it any longer. As far as Arians is concerned, there are no more rookies.

Arians was asked about young players not practicing a full week and how that may hurt the Bucs. Arians scoffed.

“This time of year, you shouldn’t be a young player anymore,” Arians said. “You should embrace your role and your opportunity.”

Arians is exactly right. Dudes have been practicing football on the pro level since July. There have been 14 games and three preseason games.

If a rookie doesn’t know what to do now, that tells Joe the guy has had his head up his tailpipe for too many weeks.

    DEAR BRUCE ARIANS,

This time of your career, you shouldn’t be a young coach anymore.

You and Leftwich are both IDIOTS for throwing deep multiple times on 3rd and 1 or 3rd and 2. That’s just BAD MATH, something you guys obviously don’t understand.

Throwing a very low percentage long pass on a 3rd and short is just D-U-M-B especially in a game where you have zero points.

Sean Payton and company OUT COACH you and your staff again, and again, and again.

YOU SHOULDN’T BE A “YOUNG COACH” ANYMORE.

Didn’t say anything about back ups lack of reps with starters. I guess in BA’s world it’s as easy as pick & play. Is this guy for real. Say goodbye to Brady the lack of work ethic isn’t in his DNA.

  3. Buddha Says:

Last I looked Bruce has the same number of rings as Sean Payton and a better playoff record.

I love Leftwich, Bowles and Arians. I am biased.

I am critical of the in-game (not halftime) adjustments that I have seen throughout this season.

    Go Bucs!

  5. captivajim Says:

without Brady ; Bruce has NO rings

  6. Mike Johnson Says:

Lover Arians attitude. No rookies and no excuses. That next man up needs to step in and deliver. Although we are hurting, so are a lot of other teams. Axe to the grind baby!

  7. Rod Munch Says:

Bunch of nonsense. Again, asking too much of rookies, at a time that the vast majority of rookies are hitting a wall, saying if they don’t perform like vets they should be cut, it’s pure nonsense.

You want by this time of year for rookies to show something, but to say if they don’t, they’re busts, that’s just stupid, shortsighted, nonsense. Times like that you remember that Arians did come from the Ray Perkins coaching tree.

  8. bucschamp Says:

bucs standard for rookies is pretty high. look at Wirfs. JTS coming along even as a backup. rookies do need to step up especially when you play with the goat.

  9. The Beer Whisperer Says:

Uncle Bruce gets onery sometimes. He’s earned it.
He can’t be happy about all these injuries to his players.

  10. Eddie Marz Says:

BA is right! This ain’t kindergarten! Your a professional, make some plays and not excuses. GOBUCS!

  11. Ed Says:

Ronald Jones, Breshad Perriman and Tyler Johnson are not rookies. OJ Howard is in his 5th year. If Arians and Leftwich have any ability to coach then they will adjust the plays and get these guys into the game plan.

The offensive line is not banged up. Barrett and JTS are healthy. White maybe not 100% but he has been moving around well past 2 games.

Coaches need to coach up the players they have and stop relying on Brady, he doesn’t have all his weapons and needs help from running game. He also needs a good pocket to step into his throws. This is on his line, they have to play better from here on out.

  12. Austin Says:

Did they just say they aren’t practicing a full week? Rookie or not, we have an entirely reshuffle group out there and they NEED TO PRACTE

  13. Mike Johnson Says:

But my ? is…Will OJ Howard Ever…step up to the plate and deliver? My wife calls him..The invisible Hollow man.
