Lot Of Bucs Did Not Practice
December 29th, 2021OK, so the first injury report is out for Jets week and a lot of Bucs players did not practice today, a walk-through session.
OLB Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder), punter Bradley Pinion (hip), defensive back Richard Sherman (Achilles) and safety Antoine Winfield (foot) did not hit the field. Receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) and receiver Breshad Perriman (non-injury) were limited.

Practice is always best, but the Jets are a crap team. WE should beat them easily, practice or not.

Hopefully the Bucs don’t take the Jets lightly like the did the Redskins and Saints X2. This is the Jets Super Bowl and you know we just LOVE playing down to the competition 95% of the time.

@Joe Will Harold Goodwin be able to try any special runs he’s had on his mind?!? Will there be any noticable changes with him as our lead Dog?

Good. Let everyone rest as much as possible over the next two weeks. Let the back ups play against the Jets and please protect the franchise TB12. I would be fine with Blaine Gabbert Starting this week.

What are y’all talking about, Bucs are still in contention for the #2 seed. If the starters can play, then they should play.

Perriman cleared COVID protocols today, he will be at practice tomorrow.
I think Grayson will get more chances, but Perriman can play this week.

Is ABs ankle a new injury or the same one that’s been lingering most of the season?

I think it’s a double edge sword. You need to win incase the positioning can change but at the same time players should rest because we can ill afford any more injuries

Some of you guys wanted to start resting starters in week 4. As of right now these last two games still mean something, so everyone who is healthy should play, period.

The Bucs proved last year as a wild card team that resting players for the playoffs isn’t neccessary. Today’s NFL, players aren’t hitting as much in practice so game time is when they practice their tackling, blocking and defensive techniques.
They should play all starters but rotate more and split the reps amongst more players. Unless the Jets take a lead, run the football, throw to the tight ends and backs.
Let Rojo and Vaughn get 30 carries and keep Brady’s passing count down to 35 attempts. No shotgun unless its hurry up. I don’t want to see Brady holding the ball trying for a deep shot. Bucs should be able to pound the ball with the offensive line. Those linemen need a break from pass blocking. Let them get out in front instead of backing up protecting passing game.

Get up 3 scores by half. In come the backups including Gabbert
