Bucs Offense No. 1 (When Healthy)

November 12th, 2021

Leader of the best.

Long-time Bucs fans familiar with Stewart McClown, “Son of Bob” Brian Griese and Bruce Gradkowski must be staring at the headline here in complete and total disbelief.

Over at The Athletic, Sheil Kapadia takes a deep statistical dive on every NFL offense. For him, there is none better than the Bucs’ — when they are healthy. He credits the offense’s diversity and because it’s loaded, of course.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

They’re averaging a league-high 30.1 points per game and are one of four offenses that has not had what would qualify as a bad game. Tom Brady is… on pace for 5,631 passing yards and 53 touchdowns. The Bucs have a strong offensive line and are loaded at wide receiver. They throw the ball 60.6 percent of the time on early downs, which is third-highest. But the Bucs can run the ball when they need to. There really aren’t many questions with this group when it’s healthy.

The key to this excerpt is the last three words. “When it’s healthy.”

Don’t try to tell Joe the Rams offense is best just because they signed cancerous Odell Beckham yesterday. This guy hasn’t done squat since 2019 and the Browns are better off without him. Additionally, the Rams running attack doesn’t compare to the Bucs’.

Joe actually expects the Bucs to turn loose Playoff Lenny and Ronald Jones to ground-and-pound the WTF on Sunday, with furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing receiver Antonio Brown and foot-rubbing, car-littering, film guru tight end Rob Gronkowski out, and receiver Chris Godwin possibly joining them,

Godwin’s status should be more clear around noon when Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians will offer his final remarks to media before kickoff.

So can someone tell me then what’s oneilbucs beef? It’s never enough for this guy. I’m surprised all of that salt hasn’t completely dried him out yet. Dude is witnessing the best Bucs football he’s ever seen and is mad. We are reigning super bowl champions and threatening to do it again. Oneilbucs are you not entertained are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here? Lol I love that movie classic.

  2. Medicated Pete Says:

Pete thinks the Ohell Beckham signing will backfire. Stafford is gonna feel pressure to get him the ball & mess up the chemistry of that offense

  3. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I can’t think of a game where we were without both AB & Godwin….TJ will be our # 2

  4. Tim in PSL Says:

We’re going to need a succession plan at TE. Gronk isn’t getting any healthier nor is Brate. Howard isn’t worth a starting spot. Aside from possibly RG, this is probably the biggest need on offense going forward.

  5. #8 Says:

    Future:
Feature the run this week. Prove again to the NFL Bucs can pass or run.
    By week 18, everyone healthy.
    My screen-name.
    Boat parade.

  6. Infomeplease Says:

I agree Pete. There is only a slim chance OB excepts being the #3 or #4 receiver in LA. He’ll be crying like a baby in no time (like he has every where he’s played).

  7. DavidBigBucFan99 Says:

That’s right ground and pound them then air strike them into oblivion. Evans Johnson and Perriman are still a good enough starting lineup when you got a qb like the GOAT

  8. Listnfrmafar Says:

Last season Brady and Brate were in sync, this season the opposite. A bit concerning going into this game if Godwin is out or limited. WFT has the worst pass D in the league, why would anyone think Bucs should pound the rock? Brady has won with one legit wide receiver on the field and others injured, not his first rodeo. If Miller can go Bucs have plenty of receivers to spread the ball around. Gio will be big this game. Young is being construed as overrated so Smith better be on his game because Young has something to prove. In TB12 we trust, BA, BL & Bowles, not so much.

  9. Robert Says:

    Scotty will be back right?

    He’s good for 7 points.

  10. Listnfrmafar Says:

Oh Younbucs, to answer your question Oneilbucyall is pissed because Brady is white and he replaced his nephew Jamais even though there are many great black QB’s in the league he discounts Brady’s talent, he believes for 22 years the defense has won all the games he played in and any decent QB with this Bucs offense this season and last would win a SB. He has a chip on his shoulder that’s all.

  11. Marine Buc Says:

Our defense id pretty mediocre this year. We need to score 40 a game…

  12. DoooshLaRue Says:

……meanwhile, the MASTERMIND is scheming his attack.

    The big question for BL?
Run to the left or right of Jensen on first down?

    Decisions, decisions.

  13. lambeau Says:

Throwing 60% on early downs is misleading if you have to throw on second down because you gained nothing running predictably up the middle every first down.

  14. orlbucfan Says:

I agree that this is the best Bucs offense in their history. But, #1 in the NFL, healthy or no? Hmmmmmm.

  15. Listnfrmafar Says:

    orlbucsfan, who is better?

  16. SB Says:

    @youngbucs
Oniel is a Jameis nuthugger and a ray ci st.
