What a ballsy win.
The defense, after Jamel Dean got hurt, couldn’t buy a stop without a turnover. The offense on the road once again, began the game like a bored, hungover NBA team in March (hat tip to a JoeBucsFan commenter for that line).
The Bucs simply had their manhood checked. They showed in the final quarter they did not identify with anything remotely gender neutral. The Bucs demonstrated championship balls.
Joe had already written about the poor road offense (again) and how the pass defense (again) collapsed after a starting corner got hurt. Joe happily deleted and never published those missives.
But damn, that game-winning drive was freaking awesome. That’s what a championship offense does.
Joe is fully on the bandwagon. This team has what it takes to defend a title. Carlton Davis will return shortly. Devin White will get healthy. Tooth-missing Vita Vea will get healthier.
The Bucs served notice to the NFL today: They are not a team to be effed with.

Lenny came up big for us. He deserves a game ball and a new contract. We needed a win like this after the nonsense against the saints and wtf.

It looked like the Saint game and the Wash game in the first half, glad to see they responded in the 2nd half and went on to win.
Side note, squib kick next time, then no drama lol to finish off the win.

I kind of agree. Devin white gutted it out. Maybe i am off and its more serious but i bet he plays next week. Even his own coaches have said in past he needs to learn how to play thru nagging injuries

Couldn’t stop a bicycle with a football strapped on it. Couldn’t score on it’s own possessions regularly. But Could create turn overs and make the enemy pay every time. What a hell of a game it was.

Our offense has a really bad habit starting slow on the road. Last 3 road games have been really bad.
To their credit they always play better in the second half. But were going to have a really hard time winning by playing from behind.

Patriots fan here who keeps a eye on Brady and gronk, thought us New England fans were negative but this thread week after week is pretty brutal ! Lol I know this team has some problems but they are still in the mix with lot of injuries and everyone gunning for them. U guys are still the champs with a shot at repeating which hasn’t happened since patriots 2003-04 so it’s hard to do good luck would love a Tampa patriot super bowl lol .

Great win but this team still lacks discipline. How does the KO team let a return guy almost break the game tying run? Once again poor coaching. How about Brady’s face when Miller ran the wrong route and BA burnt that timeout in the 3rd qtr? Thank God AB will be back soon because all you have to do is double Godwin, Evan’s is too slow, can’t get open.

If the Bucs can play the rest of the season and through the playoffs like they did in the second half then we could be Super Bowl bound again. With a defense that (because of injuries) has one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel the team still responded like a Champion in the second half and took the game from the Colts.

Was a tough Win but the Bucs got it done!!! “CONGRATS GUYS!!!” Everyone will hopefully continue to get healthier and better -Scotty Miller is great nice to see him back and Antonio Brown will be back next week!!! Can’t wait!!! With a full house and NO Injuries Brady will have plenty of Weapons Now- freeing up Mike Evans & Chris Godwin. The opposing teams Won’t Know who to Block!!!! So much Talent….just have to get on the same page as Brady and Exicute / make those catches.
