Tom Brady Lives For Pressure

October 11th, 2021

Thrives under heat.

Yes, Tom Brady is one of the all-time greats not just as a quarterback, but as a guy who excels when the chips are down.

Give Brady 30 seconds late in the game and he will take a dagger to your heart and pull out a win from the jaws of defeat.

And it seems Brady is pretty damn good with defenders in his face.

NextGen stats came out with good intel on Brady from yesterday’s win. Four of Brady’s five touchdowns came under pressure. That’s tied for the most since NextGen stats was born.

Now in the Tweet below, Joe doesn’t give a hoot about EPA, which is some sorcery about expected touchdowns. Whose expectations? That’s statistical hopscotch Joe simply doesn’t believe in.

What Joe does believe in is Brady has ice water in his veins. He’s a ruthless killer with the football.

And thank goodness he plays for the Bucs.

    MJ had it
    Larry and Magic had it
    The Babe had it
    A few others too
But it’s a very short list

    you want a stat, here’s a stat…

a friend up in new york, my only fellow bucs fan that i have in that area, got nfl sunday ticket because he wants to watch the bucs games, and the national action as well – but primarily not to miss a single bucs game…

well in the first 5 weeks all 5 bucs games have been blacked out for him on nfl sunday ticket…

meaning it was either a national night game or being shown in the area as i guess what you might call a regional game or special viewing…

so in 5 weeks so far he is zero for 5 in watching the bucs on nfl sunday ticket…

proof we are america’s team as long as tommy b is in the house…

ps last year he said 6 of the 16 games were able to be viewed on nfl sunday ticket…that’s 10 that were blacked out…imagine paying for all those games on a special network of sorts and the bulk of them are blacked out…

pps so now he has seen 6 of the past 21 games on nfl sunday ticket…6 of 21!!!…the bulk have been blacked out

Adam……I live in Montana and have only been able to watch one Bucs game on the Ticket. The other four have been on Local broadcasting or National. This Thursday will be the same.
I paid $300 to watch maybe 6 Bucs games because we are so popular they are on EVEN Up Here!!!!!!

I am glad I’m a Bucs Radio fan cos I get all the games. That said, being NFL champs means a bunch of prime time week night games which run too late for me. Hey, I’ll take it any day (or night) of the week plus Sunday. Yeah, Bucs!!

I’ve been able to watch 2 or 3 games thus far on NFL network. (The national ones) You have to have a valid login to SOME sort of cable system tho

Here in the Philippines I have NFL Gamepss International. It is only 200 dollars for the year, and I have been able to thankfully watch every Bucs game live. Man that s*cks to pay 300 for Sunday Ticket and only get a handful of the games. The one drawback is the 12 hour time difference and 13 hour difference with the time change. So I was watching a 1am mon morning game start when they played the Dolphins. But whatever, does not really matter to me, just like watching live instead of after the fact, which is available too.

    GO BUCS!!!!

I live in Missouri. Have had Sunday Ticket since 2016. Last year I looked at the schedule and saw how many games were going to be national and said I am not going to pay that much for a handful of games. Still got to watch just about all with the regional showings. Did the same this year, then DirecTv decided to give it to me free to entice me back. I’ll end up using it once in the first 6 weeks.
