Tom Brady Is Murderous In The Red Zone
October 28th, 2021This blows Joe’s mind.
The Bucs rank No. 9 in NFL efficiency for scoring a touchdown in the red zone.
A lot of that has to do with salad-bar-hating, park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.
As sort-of NFL insider Dov Kleiman twittered out yesterday, Brady is positively lethal when he gets the Bucs offense in the red zone.
Stat of the day: Since joining the #Bucs, Tom Brady has 50 TDs and 0 INTs in the redzone.

That is just wild to Joe. Brady has yet to throw a pick in the red zone as a Bucs quarterback. Even better, a 50/0 ratio? Sick man.
Joe mentioned this on Twitter. How absurd would it have been 18 months ago to say “Antonio Brown was talking to his Bucs teammate Richard Sherman while fellow Bucs teammate Tom Brady was practicing handoffs to Leonard Fourette while Bucs tight end Rob Gronkowski was stretching in the background … ?”
This all still feels a bit like a dream.

I believe that an old Bucs saying applies today. ….”Is a brand new day, in Tampa Bay!!…☺

I credit the hyperbaric chamber that Tom bought from Michael Jackson back in the day for all this success
October 28th, 2021 at 12:11 am
It’s a brand new day in Tampa Bay!!!

I’d love to compare that same stat to Winston’s time here.
October 28th, 2021 at 5:38 am
That’s nothing. When he was here the Aints current QB was what, 50/50 (50 TDs, 50 INTs) in the RedZone.
Now that take talent.

Geez. You are right joes
That is pure filth! And we are enjoying every minute of it !
These are amazing days guys! And we deserve it!

What an amazing stat, especially juxtaposed against Sunday’s opponent and former Bucs QB.
Yeah, pinch me!

I’d love to compare that same stat to Winston’s time here.
I’ve been called a hater of winston for holding him accountable for some problems here. But you are wrong he was always great in the redzone here.

And that #9 ranking is after 2 kneel downs to end games in the redzones and the 2 stops at the 1 yard line against the bears.
October 28th, 2021 at 7:45 am
Yes,,,,,,do kneel downs count…..they shouldn’t….

Easy comparison. Ask yourself how many QB’s are there in the infamous 30-30 club? Clue; think single digits for that very short list. Keep grinding those brainiac gears, I see smoke coming out of your stack! Yes! You got there. Great work, son. That wasn’t so hard now, was it? Sheeze…
LFG Bucs
Let’s go, Brandon!!

Amazing and love the last paragraph Joe. What a great time for a Bucs fan!!!

Youngbucs Jameis has a high rating in the redzone in Tampa. Redzone wasn’t his issue. He is number 2 qb this year in the redzone.
October 28th, 2021 at 9:51 am
Jameis had a ton of turnovers in the red zone here. Over and over again.

Dov Kleiman is the best NFL insider imo. He is really unbiased and he doesn’t have many if any horrible takes.
October 28th, 2021 at 12:11 pm
so lets run it in. (sarcasm)
October 28th, 2021 at 1:04 pm
@JimBuck2 and @Youngbucs
One of you is telling me I’m wrong, the other is talking to me like I’m an idiot, and all I did was ask to see the stat. I seem to recall some red zone INTs during his time, but I wasn’t saying anything good or bad, just asking for a stat.
At least @YoungBucs wasn’t a dick about it.

Howard is going to show you all some advanced mathematics:
Awesomeness = RZ TD’s / RA Ints = 50 / 0 = infinity
Brady has infinite awesome, but we knew that.
