Got payback.
Joe has already been over how Bucs right tackle Tristan Wirfs got revenge Sunday on Khalil Mack.
It was Mack last year who got the only sack of Tom Brady allowed by Wirfs in his rookie season. And Mack did this in spectacular fashion by flipping Wirfs over his hip to the ground after sacking Brady. It was like an old school hockey hip check (anyone remember Bob Plagar?).
Well, Wirfs sure turned the tables Sunday. Former NFL offensive lineman and NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger, who Joe knows from chats at training camp, is a huge fan of Wirfs. In fact, Baldinger seems to think Wirfs is the best right tackle in the game.
On Sunday, Wirfs erased Mack. The veteran linebacker had one tackle. That’s it!

Only thing to check off the list, is a one arm body slam by Wirfs on Mack, like everyone saw in last years game in Chi-Town lol.
Wirfs will man the an online spot on the Bucs for the next decade.
Some serious coin is coming his way, all he has to do is just keep on keepin on. Good for TW, and his family.

That hand work is so impressive. I don’t think many people understand how good it is. The timing of his right hand shots is just perfection. Mack is so good, and against lesser tackles those same moves he used against Wirfs makes them look silly. Wirfs jersey coming my way this year for sure. He’s likely the best lineman we’ve ever had. If people don’t already think that, another year or 2 like this and it will be indisputable. Love the guy!

I know my picks when I start promoting them….Wirfs, Marpet, Big V, White…yeah ive missed on a few-JW, then Justin Evans injuries just killed him
Now we need CB Alontae Taylor….should be there around 28-32, trade up a spot or two if need be….or that safety out of penn st. need to do more research.

Mack is huge. I didn’t know Wirfs is so much huger.
