Michael Irvin Was Right On Tom Brady

October 24th, 2021

“I don’t forget!”

Prior to today, the last time we saw Tom Brady play the Bears, he held up four fingers as if to say, “It’s fourth down now, right?”

It wasn’t.

Brady had forgotten how to count to four and the Bucs ran out of time and downs in losing to the Bears in Chicago last October.

Today on NFL Network, “The Playmaker,” Michael Irvin, said Brady was going to blow apart the Bears because he got embarrassed for a year about those four-fingers captured in time.

Irvin said the Bears would pay as Brady had been stewing about that moment for a year. Boy, was Irvin right.

Consider what Chicago Tribune Bears beat guy Dan Wiederer sahred at halftime after the world watched Brady light up the Bears defense for four touchdowns in the first half.

This was a beatdown. A curb-stomping. Just as Irvin predicted, Brady was going to light up the Bears. And he sure did.

The way Brady was talking this week with a twinkle in his eye, he was going to demonstrate that it is Michigan, not Ohio State that produces NFL quarterbacks.

Hail to the Victors!

Who’s gonna knock down the Cards and Rams for us? Even if we can run the table, we need Cards to lose 2 and Rams 1 to get #1

  2. Rod Munch Says:

Now time to find a Chicago sports talk radio station doing post game coverage with callers, nothing is as fun as listening to local sports talk with callers after a blowout.

  3. Mike C Says:

Because we are the Champs, and they are the chumps, they will blink, we won’t.

  4. Marques Says:

The Bucs still left a lot of points on the field. They should of been in the 50’s

  5. Joe Says:

nothing is as fun as listening to local sports talk with callers after a blowout.

    Especially drunk callers.

Naples- they play each other 1 more time, so there is a loss for someone. They also have niners and Seahawks in division. So those won’t be a cakewalk. Rams just had a tough time against the winless lions, so any week anything can happen.

  7. JA Says:

Brady could have thrown 2-3 more TD passes today if it wasn’t for those damn over inflated footballs!
Seems the NFL will do anything to try to slow this guy down.

  8. gotbbucs Says:

Just wait till Gronk gets back on the field. These last few teams have been lucky. He and Brady were on a real scorch the earth tour before he got hurt.

  9. Jason Says:

    Marques ain’t wrong.

Exit game early, and play twos. Check
Up next: bitchslap slimy Saints and rest up during bye.
    I’m lovin it
Shout out to Ira, he called 7-1 at the bye. Lookin good Sage
    LFG Bucs!

Shannon Sharpe ladt week said, Tom will not be anle to throw 2 or 3 TD’s against the Bear defense…. LOL 😂

  12. Rod Munch Says:

Chicago post-game sports talk was pretty boring. The hosts were just basically laughing off the loss, and callers are just defeated. You want the overly angry host and nutjob callers — like when we beat the Packers, the hosts and callers were insane, and it went on for hours, it was so fun to listen to.

  13. Bellingham Bucs Fan Says:

The Hall of Farmers aren’t fooling with that “Baby GOAT” or Kellerman’s Cliff or any of that other nonsense.

  14. Bird Says:

That pic is great and has meaning again

Yes all. I threw 4 tds today!
    😂

  15. Shaun murphy Says:

Tom Brady could have thrown 2to 3 more tds you piss Brady off be ready for payback,Shannon sharpe how anyone listens to his nonsense beyond me, he talks like he has a mouth full of rocks he puts down Brady every chance he gets and the patriots in his prime if front was on the team he would be on the kickoff and punt squads.

  16. Ed Says:

Ya, it would have been “a nice touch” (or, touche) if The Goat had put-up more points today than the Patriots; but no Gronk: no one knows how to get-open like “End Zone Robbie G.”

And Gio’s had some real bad luck so far. On every quick-pass play to Gio it seems, he catches it, and there’s someone right on top ‘o him, every time.

Did you see T.B. at the end of game? I mean afta the haze of fierce competitiveness lifted. He is the GOAT of kindness, too. Truly a pleasure to see, stuff like that lil boy…being overwhelmed by joy. This combination of making others around him bettah, and sincerely enjoying seeing them reach potentials, and still taking time to be kind. Good human being.

  18. Rocco40 Says:

Still awaiting moderation?!? REALLY? Yeah, don’t bother…wasting my time.

  19. Wideleftandright Says:

I dont think Brady was particularly sharp.good thing for the Bears!
They cant keep playing the way they are despite the points on short fields.offense just doesn’t look complete.
    Hurry back Gronk !
