Long List Of Guys Who Did Not Practice
October 20th, 2021Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians rattled off a long list of guys who did not practice today for the Bucs. And it included two new players.
Lavonte David, Rob Gronkowski, Jason Pierre-Paul, Richard Sherman, O.J. Howard and Antonio Brown all did not practice. Arians didn’t go into detail with the exception of Brown, who Arians said has a sprained ankle.
Antoine Winfield had his pads on and participated in some practice in an effort to pass concussion protocols. Arians said the big step for Winfield to get back on the field is for him to pass a test administered by an independent neurologist.
When the injury report is released later this afternoon, it should shed light on Howard’s injury.

Last year it seemed Marpet m forever coming out of the protocol. Is it such a hard thing to pass or did both these guys just get their bell rung that bad. Don’t really follow any other teams injuries when it comes to this, so just curious if everyone takes this long.

Bummer. I don’t want Gronk or LVD playing anyway until at least Halloween. Howard is a serious concern at TE. AB is a concern but these vets that know the system may just have small tweaks that aren’t worth getting on the field for a Wednesday practice. We shall see.

Goodness gracious I didn’t see the “AB Sprained his Ankle” below this. I was just to quick to sigh over the long list. Yet again, 5-1 at this point and I’m not gonna put one of my superstars in if they’re not close to 100 percent two weeks before the bye.

Yeah, think about us at 5-1 with all the top tier players on the shelf. God help our opponents once this team gets back to full strength. Hope at least some will be ready for the Saints. That will be a critical game.

All I can think of is when did some of these guys get hurt? Stepping off the bus? Anyway let’s hope we have enough to field a team. GO BUCS!
