“Tom Brady Is My Pick To Win MVP”
September 14th, 2021Now before all the joykills out there start throwing cold water on themselves yelling this is “Week 1 Overreaction,” this video was cut the morning of the Bucs’ win over the Cowboys last Thursday.
On one of FS1’s hollering shows, “First Things First,” Chris Broussard stomped his feet that the 2021 NFL MVP will be Bucs park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.
Broussard made compelling points. He said with the loaded weapons Brady has and the Bucs’ relatively soft schedule, Brady ought to be putting up video game numbers at the Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway.
Now Joe sees Broussard working here. If Brady put up 4,633 yards of passing last year when he claimed he didn’t know the playbook until Thanksgiving, and only had Antonio Brown for half the season, what kind of numbers will Brady post now?
And remember, there are 17 games to be played this year.
Could Brady become the second Bucs quarterback in three seasons to hit 5,000 yards? How wild would that be?
Of course, Broussard’s take didn’t go over very well with fellow panelist Nick Wright, who openly moaned in disgust. Wright is fully in the tank for Pat Mahomes so he’s triggered by anything positive mentioned about Brady.
You can see Broussard’s full take in the FS1 video below.
“Tom Brady is my pick to win the MVP this year. He has the narrative, he’ll have the numbers and he’ll have the W’s.” — @Chris_Broussard pic.twitter.com/jsfkwyWzuf

I’ll take the GOAT over Kermit the QB.

I 100% agree

We ALL know Nick Wright is a Brady hater.

Enough with the week schedule crap. We play 17 different NFL teams. Well, obviously we play our division opponents twice. Strength of schedule is meaningless when assigned preseason.

Tom Brady, Offensive Player of the Week! 😉 GO BUCS!

“There will be over 6 QBs throwing over 5k yards this year
only need to average 295 yards per game in this 17 game season”

Nick Wright, a notorious Brady hater, at least ate the crow that he was wrong after the SB win. But he’s still a pencil neck. And Mahomes is the best player in the league, hands down. No question about it.

I already got money on this can’t go wrong betting on the 🐐!

I would LOVE for Brady to win another SB and the MVP because Nick Wright would lose his mind because he keeps trying to downplay the Bucs and Brady every day. He’s a joke of a “analyst”.

The season is to early/young to even start thinking about MVP. How about..Injury free ..for Brady. Start from there.
