Ndamukong Suh Just A “New Guy”

It’s not a wild observation that Ndamukong Suh could be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But after spending several days in the cooler under COVID protocols, Suh’s defensive coordinator may not consider him a legend.
Asked how Suh has incorporated himself into preparations for the Bucs’ to open the season Thursday night against the Cowboys in the Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway, Todd Bowles deadpanned.
“Right now he’s the new guy in camp. He just got here. He’s got tape on his helmet with ‘SUH’ (on the tape) and we will see what he can do.”
Bowles is actually a really funny dude away from prying cameras and microphones. But sometimes Joe doesn’t know if Bowles becoms camera shy or if he’s trying to out perform Bill Belicheat in giving nothing away.
Bowles’ sarcasm sometimes escapes like it did today.
On a serious note, Bowles mentioned that Suh has a couple of days to get ready for handsy Jerry Jones, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.

There were times during the playoff that I thought Todd Bowles was comfortable wearing the mask and was secretly smiling behind it.

Suh’s stamina may be an issue if he can’t take a deep breadth.
We’ll probably see more of Nacho on 1st and run downs. We may even see JPP move inside on passing downs … with JTS on LDE. Excited for that!!!

He’s a veteran and can count on him to be ready. We had the same concern about vea when he came back from missing most of the season. Suh hates the cowboys too

We’ll see how badly he was affected by Covid. Don’t think we need to worry about lack of practice. Strength and stamina are the 2 key concerns, both of which are affected by the virus. Even if he’s not fully recovered, we’ll be just fine with Nunez-Roches.

Mine lasted 4 days. 4 days of a cough then it was over. I’m sure Suh is going to be just fine fore the worriers out there.

Glad your came and went fast, ’87. WillieG on the Suh thread didn’t sound so lucky. Everyone is different.
