Joe wonders what Jameis Winston was thinking if he watched Bucco Bruce Arians on national TV on Wednesday say “we thought we could fix him.”

Yes, Arians was seen on NFL Network referring to Jameis, the Saints’ new starting quarterback as of today. New Orleans (hosts?) the Green Bay Packers in Jacksonville at 4:25 p.m.

Drew Brees is gone after the Bucs’ knocked him out of the 2020 season. And today Bucs fans should begin to witness Part II of the slimy Saints’ demise.

Their new quarterback is a step down, and it could be a huge step if Jameis hasn’t improved while sitting on the bench for a full season.

Man, Joe will be awash in Big Storm Beer and enjoying every second of this afternoon’s game, hopefully Step 2 in the Bucs’ reclaiming the NFC South crown they haven’t held since 2007.

Green Bay is a 3 1/2 point favorite. But where Joe’s money lies is on the interceptions prop bet. A $100 bet on Jameis to throw a pick today will return $148.00.

Joe is so looking forward to the payday — and the Bucs’ taking a one-game lead in the division.
