“He Can Go In And Play And Not Think A Lot”
September 8th, 2021Look for plenty of Joe Tryon-Shoyinka tomorrow night against Dallas.
Bucco Bruce Arians did not hold back his emotion for his prized rookie outside linebacker tonight.
“The sky’s the limit. The guy is so talented and fits what we do so well,” Arians told SiriusXM NFL Radio.
“[Todd Bowles has] done a great job, has gotten him in some packages that he can just go in and play and not have to think a lot. And for him, when he’s in there, just stay in his own damn gap in the running game. Don’t try to be a hero and let Ezekiel bounce outside of you. For him, I think the sky’s the limit. The guy could be a great tight end. He might even hell be a safety. The guy is so talented. We’re very, very fortunate to have him with our pick. And he has fit right in. He’s a very humble young man, too. I love it.”
That’s very high praise from Arians, and it really speaks to the athleticsm and demenaor of the No. 32 overall pick.
If Jason Licht found another first-round grand prize for the fourth consecutive season and scored another Super Bowl, damn, Joe might have to start lobbying Licht for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

“ Joe might have to start lobbying Licht for the Pro Football Hall of Fame”
Maybe Joe will name a stadium after him. 😎

The Bucs will win 3 out of the next 4 Superbowls. Watch.
And yes, Licht (and many other current Bucs) will end up being HOF’ers.
You can take that to the bank.

If JTS will be disciplined like Arians was saying about him staying in his gap, he will grow into a monster and have a great career.
Maybe it will be “Hey Jevon Kearse meet JTS the Freak 2.0 lol
I hope so anyways.
GO BUCS!!!!!

This guy has the athleticism and skill set to be Jason Taylor-esque:
– lighting quick off of the edge
– ability to cause turnovers (two strip sacks in preseason and a pressure pick)
– ability to drop into coverage
– athletic ability to take it to the house if the opportunity presents itself
High order but I am looking forward to seeing JTS blossom on the field.
I will also throw in that I look forward to seeing how Micah Parsons plays/is handled.

I foresee a lot of holding penalties against him.

Tryon will get plenty of playing time in the 4th Qtr when the game is over by then

The rookie they’ll be talking about more before the game will be Parsons from Dallas. The rookie they’ll be talking about after the game will be Tryon.

Amazing pick!.
But we needed a DT in round 2!

I think he will play plenty in rotation before the 4th quarter.

Great group of young defenders. Hopefully we can keep them all together.

This young man already shows he can play linebacker/defensive end. He has got some great player coaches in guys like LVD, JPP, etc. as well as the regular coaches like Bowles and his posse. Looking forward to listening to the game tonight to see how he does. BTW, screw the Dallas Cowjerks!
