Devin White has entered Gerald McCoy territory.
Twice McCoy was voted the 28th-best player in the NFL by his peers. Following the 2013 and 2014 seasons, McCoy got the honor as part of the annual NFL Network Top-100 Players feature.
It was pretty damn stunning that McCoy got the accolade after the ’14 campaign, considering the Bucs were a two-win laughingstock under Lovie Smith.
Today, White made his debut on the NFL Network Top 100 Players feature, and like McCoy, he checked in with the high honor of No. 28. Lavonte David made his debut after his sophomore season (2013) at No. 35.
You can watch the feature on White here. His speed is what’s highlighted. White fans know that’s what sets him apart and could make him a best-in-the-game player one day.

I just wanted to note, in the video he is seen laughing on the sideline… If that “laugh” doesn’t create fear in anyone who touches the ball on opposing offenses, I don’t know what will!
You’ll have to watch it to understand my meaning.
I don’t think that GMC’s laugh scared anybody.

The ONLY comparison between the two (other than wearing the pewter and red) is the numerical listing, which I think might change next year.

The only reason Geraldine was voted that high is that she was so nice to everyone she played against they didn’t want the Bucs to go get someone else. DW is already 10x the player and leader that Batgirl ever was.

Never compare any championship player to Mccoy. guy was terrible and overrated.
Devin White is the best LB in the league I can’t believe other LB’s were voted ahead of him. Dude looks like 55 out there. the season he just had was unreal.

Read all the hate on the Twitter thread. 90% hate saying he’s overrated and not even the best LB on the team. They will be eating some crow cause this guy is that good and is just learning the position. I expect he’ll be too 15 for years to

Even swap 2019 Out goes softie McCoy, “My bad Ben” n in comes hard core DWhite, “Imma get that _ss boy” or “yo mama love u but I don’t”. Just what the doctor ordered. The beginning of a new sheriff in town for the Bucs. Smash mouth football. The league no longer perceive us as the laughing stock of the nfl.
