Bruce Arians Wants Offense To “Grow Up” And “Man Up”

No, Joe has no worries about the juggernaut that is and will be the Buccaneers’ offense.
But it’s still fun to hear Bucco Bruce Arians moan about their performance like only he can.
“Probably the worst offensive practice we’ve had in three years,” Arians said after today’s session in pads. “Kind of a pattern of behavior now, after a day off our offensive just stinks. And they got to break that habit.”
Arians said the defense was able to dominate all day and he praised their play.
There’s no old school fix for the offensive sputtering, Arians said. He doesn’t want to get locked up.
“Well, back in the day, we’d be out here running the sh** of them. That don’t work anymore. You go to jail for that stuff now.”
The modern solution is simple, Arians said, “They just gotta grow up and man up. … I’m not going to fix it. You gotta fix it,” he said.

Back in the day coaches used to put hands on us. That’s probably what he’s referring to when he says “You go to jail for that stuff now.”

Team’s are going to bring their A+ game against us, or at least try. We can’t just “stay on the bus” and expect to win.
There’s a lot of expectations for this offense and few excuses.

the problem with BA is his confusing messages….. he was proud with his decision NOT to bring veterans early on, to practice. Now he has problem why they are LAZY. —well Mr. Magoo, make up your mind….

Arians relationship with his team during camp is always “It’s Complicated”. Nobody does more coaching through the media than Arians, be it good or bad.
I think he got so sick of making excuses for Winston that it finally broke him and the result is this “Zero FK’s Given” approach.

Maybe Brady is jet lagged. Saw him at the Hall Of Fame presentation last night.

It’s not a bad thing that our defense is playing great.
