Bring On The Cowboys!

August 28th, 2021

Ready for Dallas.

Micah Parsons, you ain’t playing Michigan State.

About the best thing you can say for the Cowboys defense is that they have good young linebackers with the addition of maybe the next Devin White, Micah Parsons. But his world will get lit up if he isn’t ready for the Bucs offense a week from Thursday.

Aside from the first drive for the Bucs offense, did it not look razor-sharp?

On fire was park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

Antonio Brown looked like he was back with the Steelers. Mike Evans is still playing above the rim. Chris Godwin was lights out. Ronald Jones ran like a Pro Bowler.

When the Bucs scored their second touchdown of the night, even Stevie Wonder could see the offense was ready for Opening Night.

Joe put out on Twitter that he had seen enough. The Bucs offense needed no more polishing. Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians agreed. He called the dogs in and p!ssed on the fire. The night was over.

Mr. Parsons, your world is about to be lit up in a few days. Brace yourself. You never saw anything like this in Happy Valley.

Your Penn State brother Chris Godwin is going to give you a rude welcome to the NFL.

Godwin runs with more force after the catch than Legarrette Blount ever did as a runner. Change my mind!

TB 12 Hot Knife vs Dallas Butter defense lol lol lol.
Any fans remember 38-0 loss in the playoffs with Ed “To Tall” Jones laying out Doug Williams?
Well this could be the same kind of beatdown in favor of the Bucs.
My High School English Teacher was a huge Dallas fan, not fun at School the next day lol lol

GO BIG BAD AZZ WORLD CHAMPION BUCS!!!

Ummm I love me some Godwin but Blunt was a freak a force of nature. I mean one them us a RB that takes hits over and over and over and has done all time NFL highlight reel plays. Godwin is a different animal elite and powerful he blocks so we’ll. But to say Godwin runs with more for force..Nahhh! Go back and watch some film is my suggestion. Go Bucs

Impressive! TB needs only haft a step of separation to throw the ball, the timing of Goodwin is also excellent!

By no means i m an expert but i ll share a couple of thoughts from what i saw in preseason.
First team offense and defense only played 4 or 5 drives and you cant say much. From the rest the 2 average parts from last year looking the same again. Special teams and running game are bad and below average.
We will see always a couple nice returns against us and not good blocking in Special teams. And in the running game many times is like bagging their heads against a wall. I dont know if the Special teams problems will be fixed but i dont count on it.
Lets hope every team will have a healthy year and Go Bucs

Christos. It’s the JBF comment section. We’re all experts here. Lol.

Blaine Gabbert is a nightmare and it’s time for BA to admit it and move on.

  9. DungyDance Says:

    Lol, well said Jason.

Joe – what’s the word on Trask v. Griffin for third string spot? Didn’t see any of Griffin last night. Pretty obvious that Griffin is either on practice squad or gone. Or at least so is my “expert” view. Lol

I think the Bucs can average 38-40 per game if set the run up with the pass as opposed to the traditional run to set up the pass.

  11. Wild Bill Says:

Gabbert has looked weak in all three games. We need to watch the waiver wire for a better #2. Trask looks good for #3 and maybe 2 by mid-season. Liked his poise, movement, pocket presence and some real highlight throws. Especially the TD to Godwin and the long bomb to the rookie.

Lol leighroy, he’s great after the catch for sure, but until He drags 11 defenders for about 50 yards down the field and scores a touchdown… just no.

Not only do I think this Bucs team isn’t ready for Dallas in their opening game, I think they are going to lose to them. How can you say a defense that allowed one of the worst offenses in the NFL to drive down the field and hold the ball for nearly 10 minutes anything but not ready for prime time and yes I know it is pre-season. I saw one backup that looked ready to play. the rookie Tyron. The rest of the backups looked bad and worst as pre-season continued. I’m beginning to believe that the Bucs won the Super Bowl because of Covid not inspite of it.

It seems we have a cowgirl in our midst, everyone say hi to Ms Ensch!
