Finish, Please!
July 26th, 2021Bucco Bruce Arians was singing a familiar song after practice today — the same lyrics as yesterday’s opening practice of training camp.
The fearless leader of our Buccaneers loved the first half of his team’s work but not the second.
He blamed the heat and guys not being in enough shape to handle the swelter for a full practice, which for Arians represents the equivalent of not finishing strong in a real game.
“It’s all mental. It’s all mental. If you didn’t train here, it’s your own damn fault,” Arians said. “You knew what you were getting into.”
Again, Arians cited missed opportunities to make plays late in practice, dropped balls, etc.
Hey, this is what training camp is for.

Between BA, Brady, Lavonte, and White, they are not going to let this team get complacent.

Don’t forget Jensen, Marpet, JPP, Barrett, on, and on. Now if Tyron, Darden can contribute, with the other young P.S. players returning, we can be even better.

OK I’m curious now Joe. Any particular reason you chose Vita Vea to be the poster child for this ‘Finish Please’ article?

Defense Rules steal that thunder. Use the heaviest guy on the team for your article pic and think we wouldn’t notice.
