Carlton Davis Wants The Fans To Keep Bringing It
July 25th, 2021There was something very different at Bucs practice today.
Something that’s never been at a Tom Brady Bucs practice. Something that hasn’t been at a Rob Gronkowski Bucs practice before. Something that hasn’t been at a Playoff Lenny Bucs practice. Something that hasn’t been at a Bucs training camp practice in two years.
Fans. Fans were at Bucs practice. Bucs fans.
Though the Bucs are not scheduled to have a training camp practice open to the general public this summer — something Joe finds borderline shameful for the defending Super Bowl champions — the crowd was still noisy. This generally is not the case when only select season ticket holders are only allowed in.
One guy damn glad to have fans back was Bucs cornerback Carlton Davis.
Training camp practices are drudgery for players. It’s hot as heck. So humid it can suffocate a gecko. And the players are beating on their own teammates (when it is not underwear football). So any kind of spark to break things up is welcome.
Davis is no different, as he explained after practice.
“Having the fans here and having the energy, it makes it feel like its football season again,” Davis said. “It definetly felt normal today.
“Having the fans here helps get you going. It’s a little bit of motivation.”
So if you are one of the lucky fans coming to training camp, Joe has a tip for you: Don’t be bashful. Don’t be shy. Be loud.
The players hear you. And they enjoy it when the fans are engaged.
Refreshing AF after a sizzling day at Bucs training camp. Thank you @BigStormBrewing pic.twitter.com/I18u6Qa2LW

Tired of this covid bs and glad fans were in house. More elderly people and people with underlying conditions are dying post vax than those who are UNVAXED!!!! That is coming from the cdc and the hospitals!!!
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH OPEN UP!!!!

40% of all new hospitalizations in the UK are the vaccinated yet over 85% of the population is vaccinated. What’s it supposed to do again?

When Carlton finally scores his first NFL touchdown, I hope it’s at home so the whole stadium can do the Carlton.

@Brandon exactly…this is all b.s
July 25th, 2021 at 6:15 pm
The ones being hospitalized now that are dying 95% are not vaccinated
July 25th, 2021 at 6:16 pm

Google 34 year old stephen harmon and ask if you think if he could answer you would he have done things differently.

There’s never been a documented case of anyone catching Covid outside anyhow—it’s in enclosed areas with no air movement where it happens

I’m old enough to remember when the gov’t used to put ads on tv about the “EVIL WEED” It was bs and propaganda, but it took a very long time for people to see that. So long, in fact, that many people do not remember those ads which were the opposite from what people know to be true, today. I wonder how much Big Pharma was getting from the government, both times.
July 25th, 2021 at 7:15 pm
Sadly there will be a LARGE number of other team fans in the stands.

Cricket tv ads and doctors are 2 different things. When those ads were running, doctors were still using weed to treat medical issues ie glochoma (sp), cancer patients etc. The govt said it was bad because they could not tax it. Why? Because i can grow it myself. There is no doctor any where saying dont take the vaccine. Sure i agree it is a personal choice but to say its bs is just idiotic at this point.
Beej plenty of people have caught covid being outside. Yea its a smaller chance but if someone with covid sneeze or cough and u are not vaccinated and u r standing close to said person, there is a chance of u contracting it. Thats why open air stadiums only allowed a few people in. Thats why they are pushing for people to get vaccinated. This thing is not bs

Sorry Webster I missed the end part–there LITERALLY have been no documented cases of people catching covid outdoors. Rochelle Walensky, director of CDC, referenced a study, and if you dive into it— “according to the Journal of Infectious Diseases article, one found that outdoor settings accounted for 0.03 percent of infections; another put the share at less than 0.9 percent; and one found that “5% of work-related cases occurred outdoors.” (Makes sense, as last I saw, the CDC standard for being ‘exposed’, is 15 minutes within 6′ of an infected individual over the span of 24 hours, which is hard to do solely outdoors)
Locker rooms, etc, a WHOLE different story
July 26th, 2021 at 12:02 am
Though the article is dated by now, Wall Street Journal, not exactly an irresponsible rag, did a study and found that (at the date of publication) there were no known cases of COVID transmission in America between athletes in an outdoor game.
There were, however, cases of indoor sports transmission between athletes. The worst — oddly enough — was a hockey rec league in Tampa. It is believed that was because the environment was ripe for transmission: Indoors and cold.

BUCEMUP
Florida has completely opened up , and that is why we lead the U.S. in new infections of Covid.
I believe that if you are outside and doing some measure of social distancing , that yes it is very safe , but when sweaty people start touching their mucous orifices and then immediately touching someone else-you may have issues. i would not go to any event where 10’s of thousands are shoulder to shoulder.
For the love of everyone else in the world-get the vaccine-please.

Getting the option to attend training camp is an additional perk for season ticket holders. It’s not for select season ticket holders, but for all season ticket holders.
