Bucs edge rusher Joe Tryon.
So Joe noticed there is a riddle out there about new Bucs edge rusher Joe Tryon that is still a bit unresolved.
You may have noticed that on Tryon’s Twitter bio and his Instagram handle, Tryon goes by the name “Joe Tryon-Shoyinka.”
Tryon was asked about that in his Zoom press conference with the local pen and mic club this afternoon. The usernames are to honor both of his parents, he said.
Then Tryon was asked how his name should be correctly referenced. He shrugged his shoulders and said sportswriters and broadcasters have referred to him as “Joe Tryon” for years, so that has become his de facto name.
When asked what he prefers to be called, Tryon had an interesting answer.
“Y’all can call me ‘Joe Tryon.’ That’s cool.”
So let it be written, so let it be done.

Joe Tryon is smart. This is a great name for marketing purposes.
Everyone will want a jersey that says “Tryon” on the back. Glad this man is a Buccaneer. Glad he’s not hung up on things like this.

IMO he needs to be put on a fatty weight gain diet to gain about 15lbs , I just think he is too lean and cut. A little more momentum, cushion and power.
