Reason(s) to grin.
There were some quarterbacks last week that had wide smiles because of what their team’s general managers pulled off in free agency.
Pouty Cam Newton basically got a new offense. Pat Mahomes got an offensive line ( word is he mumbles in his sleep these strange words, “Shaq… Suh… JPP… help me, Andy! Help.”
And then there is a third quarterback smiling. Kyle Brandt, co-host of “Good Morning Football” seen weekday mornings on NFL Network, explained why Tom Brady should be so happy with the job Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht did last week.
“Tom Brady has everything to smile about, never mind what is going on in his life,” Brandt said. “Whatever is going on in Tampa? They pretty much brought everyone back. He got his new deal. He’s not going anywhere.”
Yeah, so far Brady has seen Licht pick up five of the Big 8 free agents. The only three left are still out there as of midnight Saturday night: Ndamukong Suh, Antonio Brown and Playoff Lenny. It’s possible the Bucs could bring those three back as well.
So why wouldn’t Brady smile? The core of his Super Bowl championship team is set to return. That even makes a sourpuss like Joe smile.

Yes and all honest Buc fans are smiling too. It’s a Bucs world in 2021 NFL. Fun times btw, get your riverside seats now for 2022 SB Boat parade. Who knows if they will win it, but might as well stick out the chest and brag baby. This is the best time to be a Bucs fan since the Tampa Bay area was awarded the franchise in 1974. GO BUCS DOMINATE 2021 Season!!!!!

That franchise tag for Godwin is looking like a discount compared to what the Giants just shelled out to Kenny Golladay yesterday.
4-yrs 72mil, makes 18 annually for Golladay and the tag for Godwin was only 16. Shows you what it will take to sign Godwin long term tho, and all I have to say is this TV deal better raise the cap by 30mil next year.

Funny, when ever I can see a video of the SB with Mahomes running for his life from Shaq, JPP, Suh and VV, I play it over and over again. Such JOY!!!!!😍

Last season was their pre-season. They won it, and got prizes. However, they’re still trending upward. Great starts ain’t nuttin’ without great finishes. Preparation. Execution. It’s all football, no matter how ya slice it.

Brady played better than I thought he would play .. I went back in looked at some of the games he did helpe us win. But I still don’t believe he’s the goat because of the era he played in . But I have always believe he was one of the best but not the best because I just don’t believe in goats playing team sports and yall just have to respect my beliefs just like if yall say he is the goat . And I have no problem with yall saying that about Brady if that’s what you believe. I have enjoyed this season and will enjoy the next one but I am concerned about the future of the team . We have to draft a quarterback to learn behind Brady . Go Bucs !!

I think AB will go off this year(in a good way lol) thank god your playing and TB12 is your QB broskie…lenny and suh stay as well please take a pay cut if needed bc glory is priceless!!!!! No amount of money can buy glory!!!….we showed the chiefs whats up and run it back for real !!! We can go undefeated all the way for ultimate glory!!! TB12 came close but this team can do it..its possible tampa and pats for SB im calling it..with tampa winning of course TAMPA BAY ALL THE WAY

Why are you worried about the future? Bucs are favored to repeat. Which future are you worried about 2 years from now? 5 years from now?
What about the last 13 years with no playoff wins?

Screw drafting a QB, hasn’t really worked out well for us historically speaking. Other than Doug Williams, not much success there. Keep drafting and building a dominant defense and bring in a veteran QB to take over the reins. Maybe Russell Wilson will be available when Brady hangs up the cleats.

I understand about the 13 year drout I don’t want anther 13 year drout. So yes you have to also look at the future of the team. I will always root for the bucs regardless. But we must sustain the success. That last podcast was bitter sweet because they talked about the win now and then said we might not never get another chance to win again . And it don’t have to be that way look at Pittsburgh or Baltimore they are always in the midst of winning every year. At some point the bucs are going to have to develop a quarterback . Now I don’t look at the quarterback position like most people now days. But I’m not the GM so quarterback is every thing to fans and the media. So I say draft one this year and build the defense and offensive line .

Kyle Trask will be the steal of the draft this year . Let him learn behind Brady and make the playbook around what he does well . And give him a good running game and they can develop him . Look how Andy Reid develop quarterbacks I think he never had a bust at quarterback.

Blah blah it’s about winning Super Bowls by any means necessary!!!! What good is having a winning record for 10 years if u can’t win it all realistically. 1 team wins that’s it you the the chiefs would be happy going 14-2 every year without winning the super bowl stop it bro. This is a salary cap league it hard to keep good players. The nfl have short windows u think the saints happy the win the division every year but no Super Bowls no!!! Nobody knows what the future holds but this 1 dude stuck on doom n gloom so butt hurt! This is the absolute best time to be a Bucs fan not talking some our future blah blah the future is now we getting these rings!!!!! My real fans with me who don’t have bias and ulterior motives!!!!!

I’m not worried about the future wanna know why? Because this organization has been making good decisions finally. Not holding on to players just because not paying players just because. Not drafting certain names just because if you wanna get technical the Bucs have been making solid decisions the past 3 years. And the best decision of them all was changing QB’s and stop spinning in circles!!!! Go Bucs!!! F*cking future the world could end tomorrow but guess what we champions now!!!

🐐🐐🐐 lead the league in deep attempts with 91🐐🐐🐐lead the league in deep completions over 4600 yds 40 tds (12 ints which is actually high for him go figure) at 43 years old. The only people still doubting him have no argument it’s just pure hate. Don’t matter is it’s commenters here or people on tv just looking and sounding dumb. Andy Reid never had a bust at QB he develops QBS yup sounds good. Except 1 thing Reid just won a super bowl for the first time in his career!!!!
