So who with the Bucs is Shaq Barrett’s wife calling out?
As we all know, Shaq, the NFL’s defending sack king, and Devin White and nose tackle Steve McLendon, were each placed on the reserve/COVID list.
Shaq tested negative, per his wife’s Instagram Stories account. White tested positive and is in danger of missing the Bucs’ first playoff game in 13 years next week. It is unknown about McLendon.
On Instagram, Shaq’s wife seemed to call out someone (her post has been deleted but with the magic of screenshot saver, Joe has it), blaming the unknown person for bringing the virus into One Buc Palace.
Now she did not specify if the person is a staffer or a teammate of Shaq.
What we do know from Shaq’s wife, who is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, is that Shaq has tested negative “all week” and he is now in quarantine for the next five days.

Not sure if it makes a hill of beans of a difference, but the wife & I noticed Brady and a bunch of other players on the sidelines during the game with masks below the nostrils, and outright below the chin. Ya gonna wear a mask, wear the damn mask. Talking on a mic for game activities is one thing, taking that risk for what was obviously casual conversation on the sidelines is plain stupid. I really hated seeing them take that risk, course they obviously don’t see it as a risk, they’re world class athletes athletes, & there’s no risk involved. The Bucs have a major outbreak they’ll blame other people choices, and not their own. Rant complete.

PaBucsfan- Agree. There is nothing that his wife said, that is unreasonable. I’d be mad too. HE tested negative, he’s healthy and ready to go. She SHOULD be mad. Mad that he doesn’t get to play because of super super precautionary measures, and mad that someone on the team put them in this predicament in the first place. Losing a Devin a White may be the difference of getting bounced out of the playoffs next week too. Everyone should be mad, this affects a lot of people and this is no time to Fuhhk around.

@Todd, I know someone who lost 32 family members to Covid-19, 32 dead in one family. Covid-19 is real and is deadly, it can also have long term effects on some who get it. You sir are one of the reasons why this pandemic has gotten this bad here in the United States. Compare the death and infection rates to other countries like Canada and Japan and there is an easy correlation to the response and the results.

Gee, let’s see… The maker of the test himself said it’s only 3% accurate and White is showing no symptoms.. so we are supposed to believe that a man who feels fine, looks fine and is showing no symptoms (supposedly sick with what MUST BE the deadliest disease every known to man considering they’re ruining peoples lives because of it) is sick because of a test that is wrong 97% of the time for a disease that has yet to actually be identified and singled out and has a 99.95% survival rate!!! … Take off the masks people this is a lie!! I think the covid itself is real but it’s not serious AT ALL and they are using it for political purposes and to bring about the “great reset” … All they doing is resetting your money into their pockets!! At my work HR says if you have someone in your house that tests positive you need to go 4 days with no symptoms and then a test. If the test is negative you can come back. They also said if we knowingly let them back before then and someone else can prove they got it from that person the company is liable. Being the NFL hI’m sure they have a lot more rules, if it was someone not following the rules and Shaq is out for the remainder of the year and doesn’t get to 10 sacks and doesn’t get his contract that he wants, is the team liable? I really wonder during this Covid year if come next year players will be trying to hold teams accountable for others not following the rules and causing other players to miss their payday.

They are part Navajo, and their family did not take COVID seriously, the 3 of them did and have not gotten sick (wash regularly, wear a mask, social distance). You sir, a person who probably considers himself very intelligent, have less sense than a rock. Learn the science, just because you haven’t been effected personally by Covid-19 doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. How can you be so inconsiderate? It is very simple to take protective measures but because so many people feel it is inconvenient people die. I rarely comment on this website or any other but this is ridiculous. You can take all the precautions in the world and STILL get COVID…I know cause it happened to me in Sept!! As soon as I started to feel ill, I quarantined myself in my room away from my family. 11 days later, I left my isolation (which was worse than the sickness) and carried on. Point is, you can take all the precautions and still get this virus. People need to stop pointing fingers!

How would you feel if you lost one person you know or love? Is one life worth wearing a mask, washing your hands, and remaining socially distant?
Consider the difference in other places who have taken Covid-19 seriously
Japan population: over 127.4 million
Infected with Covid-19: 236,000
Covid-19 related deaths: 3,292

Surfslowson, that’s because those countries aren’t playing politics with the numbers. We’ll never know the truth, the actual numbers. I had to take my 6yr old daughter to be tested. Poor girl had to take the quick test 3 times….the 1st two were inconclusive, the 3rd negative. Talking with the doc, she informed me that each test that my daughter took would be counted as a separate test (as if 3 different individuals took one). And that inconclusive tests are considered as positive. Therefore, my 1 daughter who tested negative was counted as 3 tests with 2 positives. Blew my mind. How many times has that happened nation wide?

Of the 346,000 deaths related to COVID. Only 6% have been due to COVID alone. 20,760 people is not worth wrecking our country over.
Number of Homicides and Suicides are WAY WAY Up. I have several friends and family members that know somebody that has died due to both of these. Where is your compassion for them. Knowing your fear and peer pressure on others has caused a world of destruction.
