“I Just Love Seeing The Faces Of The Glazer Family”

Bruce Arians arm-barring with Team Glazer in New Orleans

Joe would not have guessed that the most exciting Buccaneers season of a generation would have further pushed team ownership into their treasured cone of silence.

Years ago, upon the firing of Chucky, Team Glazer member Joel Glazer referred to fans as stockholders and noted how fans’ feelings played a role in the franchise-changing move. Joe thought that might signal fans hearing from the Bucs’ owners more often, but that wasn’t the case.

Nowadays, they’re extra deep in the bunker when it comes to the media and interacting with fans on a public scale. However, there is fresh evidence that Team Glazer is as happy as any other fan.

“I just love seeing the faces of the Glazer family after the ballgame,” Bucco Bruce Arians told SiriusXM NFL Radio last night, during a conversation about winning and the Bucs organization.

(No word on whether Arians will be fined for mentioning Team Glazer emotions.)

The JoeBucsFan.com photo guru always shoots Team Glazer at games. They’re always on the field and mingling prior to kickoff, and they don’t leave early to catch the Greyhound bus out of whatever city the Bucs are in.

Joe’s excited for Team Glazer. They’ve had a great season. Perhaps they’ll tell us about it one day.

The face of an owner I love seeing the most is the one of Jerry Jones after one of the many Cowboy losses lately……especially one of him and his buddies after a few cocktails at ATT stadium.

  2. ModHairKen Says:

The Glazers have been great owners and done great things for this community. God Bless them.

What I want to see most is the sadness & disappointment on the faces of the 360,760 stockholders of the Packers at 6:00pm on Sunday when the game is winding down and out of reach for them, after #12, #45 and crew deliver for a franchise best 7 times in a row.

  4. Coburn Says:

Hope we win. Keep seeing so we speculation and that fans are optimistic about mahommes. I can’t remember ever seeing a concussed player end up playing the following weekend.. is my memory wrong? Sometimes it’s more than one game missed. His looked bad. I said as soon as I saw it he wont be back next week so I expect bills to win

  5. 68%fraud Says:

Lol how can he see the smiles with the muzzles on their faces?

Hearing more from the Glazers isn’t tops on my want to see list. However, seeing Bowles and BL making more timely changes during the course of the game in response to the chess moves of Green Bay would be nice.

I have not done any empirical analysis on the matter, but if memory serves, it seems that there have been few timely gametime offensive and defensive strategy changes made during the heat of the battle.
A great military mind once said: “ No plan survives contact with the enemy”. This truism equally applies to the battles on the battlefield and football field.

    Same here bucfan

  8. AJ Says:

I think the area is blessed with really good ownership. Mr. Vinick with the Lightning is the cream of the crop of any in the sports world. He sets the bar super high. The Glazers, though a little estranged, have always thought big, spent money. The owners are not meddlers, they hirer people and let them run the show. Now if only the Rays could get an owner with the same mindset!!

  9. Alanbucsfan Says:

    Tampabaybucfan-
Jerry Jones is the standard for how to NOT manage a salary cap-
$120 million on offense and Defense so lacking in talent that the team is sub .500.

  10. Steve Says:

I’ve met the glazers on multiple occasions at away games. They are great people. Took the time to speak to me, and were genuinely excited to have fans in Canada.

  11. stpetebucsfan Says:

In the sports this town cares about…Football and Hockey we are very fortunate!

    @AJ +1 here I couldn’t agree more.

  12. 813bucboi Says:

    AJ

agreed…rays move to tampa and they want have a problem selling tickets….half the folks in st.pete work and play in tampa anyway…lol…

    GO BUCS!!!!

  13. Infomeplease Says:

I would like to thank Team Glazer for going ALL IN this season!!! They have brought much joy to the Buc Fandom!!

  14. Coburn Says:

Steve. Another Canadian fan. I’m here in Alberta.. only met a couple others here

  15. bucsince79 aka bumaneer Says:

The late great Malcom Glazer & Family gave us a SB!!!! They care deeply about the team… Don’t ever hate on em!!! We are blessed to have a team in TB Or TB12 LOL

  16. ClodHopper Says:

I hated seeing that mask on him last weekend. It looks like its not comfortable and he had to adjust it too much and it looked distracting. He should wear a shield or a more comfortable mask like he was. Seems silly but if you ever work outside in the heat, the difference between a tshirt and a sleeveless shirt is enormous. When you wear a Tshirt, you’re constantly adjusting it because of the movement and the sweat. I would think the same about a mask that takes your attention away is a hindrance when you want as few distractions as possible.

“But Clod, you’re over thinking this. That’s stupid.” Well, that’s a possibility too. lol

  17. adam from ny Says:

the glazers are the owners of the year…

it all starts at the top, and they’ve done a great job behind the scenes…

it started with the uniform change…and adding in the all pewter look too…

and with the complete overhaul of the culture within the past year or so…

bringing in solid coaches and players and making others want to join the party…

and of course opening the checkbook so it could all come to fruition…

at this point we are the new “america’s team” (in a sense)…

so 3 cheers for the glazer gang, who’ve brought the bucs back to the forefront of the nfl from every angle possible

  18. RussianCoverage Says:

@adam from ny: You make a convincing argument. I find myself in agreement. Perhaps, much like our GM, Team Glazer has become better at their job as they’ve gained experience.

  19. Buczilla Says:

We could do a lot worse than the Glazers and have had far worse (Culverhouse), but truly exceptional ownership like the Rooney family is rare. They have made some gosh awful mistakes and ignoring our team while in pursuit of a soccer team is unforgivable. They have also made some awesome decisions as well such as hiring Dungy,Gruden, and the signing of Tom Brady, so I can live with em. Not like I have a choice. 😛

  20. Paul Watters Says:

I wish they would stick to NFL
And get out of Manchester United

  21. Joe Says:

I wish they would stick to NFL
And get out of Manchester United

WHOLE LOT of cash they’d be giving up. Insane amount.

(This Joe cannot stand soccer either but money is money. And Joe knows for a fact Arians and Licht have nothing to do with Team Glazer’s kickball team.)
