Yesterday, Joe brought word that Cynthia Frelund, the NFL Network’s resident stathead, stated the “X-factor” for the Bucs Sunday is furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing Bucs receiver Antonio Brown.
While speaking on SiriusXM NFL Radio last night on “Late Hits” with Alex Marvez and Bill Polian, Arians, though not addressing Frelund’s writing, seemed to hint that the Brown the Saints faced two months ago is not the same receiver that will take the field of the Superdome Sunday night.
“It was getting him back to game speed,” Arians said of the biggest challenge to incorporating Brown’s talents into the Bucs’ offense midstream. “He’s game-speed now. He’s back to being AB.
“He’s a handful. It gives us another Pro Bowl receiver opposite Chris [Godwin] and Mike [Evans]. So it is a good three-headed monster.”
Joe would love nothing more than to see Brown light up the Saints and after the Bucs bask in a win, Brown to walk up to Cam Jordan and ask him if he wants Browns’ gloves autographed or framed?

Joe-L: I only speak FACTS start putting some respect on our players name. The bit is OLD and tired… you retired the Den of Depression. PLEASE retire the stale, numerous PAST acronyms for our guys who are pouring their BLOOD SWEAT and TEARS out for this city and region to bring a chip here. Culture change starts with Ownership, Front Office, Coaches, Players, Fans, and last but VERY importantly MEDIA.

The fact that you get so riled up over some silly names proves that Joe’s “schtick” is working. Even if some of the names carry a negative tone, the Joes have mostly posted very positive articles about our players.
The Joes love this team as much as we do, so they’re not the enemy just because they write stories that include their own brand of humor.

I’ve complained to no avail about the monikers and now realize I was wasting my time….
I would suggest that you put them in red like you do for Peter King…..that is a win-win……they would be more noticeable for Joe and easier for us to skip over and get to the name.
All I can say is that it’s the only reason why I’m glad Brady hasn’t been a Buc longer.

Saints are going to go after out hot headed players.Evans, Brown and Jensen are the three targets. P.I penalties will lose the game for a team and you know being in new orleans the league doesnt want brees to.lose to the bucs in a playoff game when he is planning on retiring and the bowl.is.in Tampa.Dont give them the chance…

The moniker let’s me practice up on my speed reading, skip right over it. If Joe’s goal is to be annoying or just to add works to his article he has succeeded. This season’s 2 Saints vs Bucs games were on NFL last night after DVRing them, I had a chance to watch the first one. Brady throwing one way receivers going the other, blown coverages and all I hear is Vita Vea, he did nothing except jump off sides on a 4th and 2 that led to a score. Brady 2 int’s one was a pick 6, definitely not in sync with receivers and Smith got torched by Hendrickson all night. Depression to watch can’t wait for game 2, yuck. Better O, hopefully better D, same coaches maybe the Xfactor. If Bucs not on the same page Sunday this could be a blowout and not in Bucs favor. FYI need ROJO.

I watched the saints bucs replay last night on nfl network
First game of year. It was so sloppy. Oline worst game of year?
Penalty after penalty . And vea offsides and defense penalty after penalty.
Bradys 2 picks were after a penalty and it was 3rd and very long.
Justin watson not in picture anymore so good riddance.
But we had 2 potential picks on defense pass interference. Brady probably had 100 yards passing (not given) cause pass interference from defense so receiver could not catch
I know saints are 5-1 over last 3 years against us
But are 1 win in NO and we play them closer in new orleans. We get blown out in tampa. Go back and look at stats
The oline is better. Receivers up to speed including AB. Gronk involved. Brady chucking it everywhere. We have to do our best in trenches if we want to win. Cause lets face it our secondary struggles all the time when qb has time

Joe, when I see the start of the string of adjectives, I just jump down to the end of the paragraph. If I miss content after your attempt at humor, then so be it. I don’t see the point. It’s not funny, it’s not clever, it’s not insightful. What is it? It is annoying and it is disrespectful. Initially, AB was not getting to the ball; was not sure-handed; looked a little lost. Makes sense, even for one of the top WRs in the NFL, after being away from the game for more than a year. Now, he’s on it; catches everything; and accelerates after getting the ball. Perhaps, a big indicator is all the yards he’s been getting, after the catch? Can’t remember seeing a WR Corp this potent. Go play some football, guys!
