Carlton Davis Calls Out Nemesis

Joe is guessing that Saints receiver Michael Thomas and Bucs corner Carlton Davis are not exactly exchanging Christmas cards.
Davis, the Bucs’ top corner, fresh off his team’s NFC Championship victory to head to the Super Bowl, unloaded on Thomas on Twitter tonight.
Joe remembers Devin White telling Will Compton and Taylor Lewan of the Titans (on their podcast), that when the Bucs spanked the Saints last week, it was very much in the Bucs’ minds how the Saints took to social media and ran their mouths and talked trash about Tampa Bay.
And look who has the last laugh.
So Davis, probably still hurting from hits he dished out this afternoon in Green Bay, launched a Twitter grenade at Thomas. And it is funny as hell.

And Joe is good with this. Not only does Joe enjoy this, but Davis has every right to unload on Thomas.

Carlton Davis looked more like Haregraves tonight against Adams. I think he should wait two weeks before talking smack as tyreek hill embarassed him in week 12. he has to play better.

You beat the best the NFC had to offer so it’s fair game. After the Saints were eating W’s, dancing in the locker room and rubbing it in as hard as they could after wining a regular season game, it’s all fair game for Davis to have the last word.

as did a lot of bucs receivers with the drops…
also as the game wore on tom grew less accurate with his passes…

Adams had 9 catches on 15 targets for 67yds and a TD today. All Adams did this year was have 115 rec for 1374yds with 18TD’s in 14games (8.2rec for 98.1yds with 1.3TDs per game avg). I’d say job well done.

We blitz so much, taking safeties or LBers out of coverage- yet our Cornerbacks are holding up. One on one on an Island.
If our CBs couldn’t play one on one- we wouldn’t be able to blitz as often!
