My assumption is that even if Heinicke keeps it close in the first half, Bowles will make halftime adjustments and barrel through him in the second. He is a relatively unknown commodity at this point so there’s still some element of surprise.

Ya gotta be proud of the Bucs!! They looked great right from the first set of downs. You could see immediatly our OL came very well prepared to do their jobs and slow down the Redskins passrush. They are giving Brady time and letting the offense to do their thing. Its a thing of beauty.
Our defense is the perfect compliment doing just as designed. Completley stop the run and make big splash plays vs the pass. Bunting having his best game all year with 4-5 key plays in the 1st half. Our Front Dline does need to step up. They have been the weakest part of our D so far & they gave up the TD.
But this game was over at 9-0. The Redskins cant play from behind. Our Bucs are in full full control and Im loving every minute of it! Savor the 2nd half boys.
