Election Day Planning
November 3rd, 2020Today’s election day has Joe thinking about something very important to many members of our Buccaneers republic.
The first Tuesday in November means we’re a matter of days from the opening of 2021 Pro Bowl voting. Typically, fans can vote for about four weeks and then their vote tallies account for one-third of the decision on Pro Bowl honors. Coaches’ votes and players’ votes get the additional thirds.
Traditionally, Buccaneers officials get a fat zero when it comes to creativity and passion to get Tampa Bay fans voting for deserving Bucs.
Oh, they’ll send out rah-rah social media posts, but that’s about where it ends.
Out-of-the-box thinking and true displayed desire for Bucs recognition are consistently lacking from the organization. Collectively, Bucs fans are horrible at voting for Buccaneers and Joe hasn’t done little to promote that, either. Everybody’s guity.
This year, that will change on these pages and on Twitter. And Joe’s going to have a lot of fun with it and get after the organization to get out the vote in ways they haven’t previously.
There are plenty of worthy Bucs and it’s time Bucs fans step up and stuff the virtual ballot boxes.
Fun, vomit-inducing fact: The Panthers had 10 Pro Bowlers for the 2015 season. That can happen here, too, if Bucs fans are willing.

the sweet smell of “W’s”.
Our immigrants are more likely to vote for Buccaneers this year, yes the New Yorkers will pass on Giants/Jets and lean towards Bucs, the cheeseheads may give a nod to a Buc, those from the windy city, perhaps they will vote for our linebackers instead of theirs. We know the new englanders will give a couple of our bucs their vote this year. Tough sledding when most inhabitants are from somewhere else, and that somewhere else’s team has more “W”s.

On Election Day…..how ’bout treating us with an Antonio Brown Poll?
Surely, this would be something of interest to your readers……and maybe even just interest Joe.

I think the NFL network looking like Bucs TV right now will help, smh I am almost tired of watching Bucs stuff. (Almost) It is reminiscent of the cowboy coverage.

I literally couldn’t care less about pro-bowl voting, the entire system, since they started to let fans vote, has become a complete joke. I know the players care because of their bonuses, but no one else should care.
Much more interesting is all-pro voting, still the gold standard when it comes to real player awards.

Fans vote for Pro Bowlers? I dint never know or and havent never voted.
I choose David, Davis, Shaq, Brady, Wirfs, Marpet, Jensen and Gronk. I say thats fair and not being too big of a homer.
Oh and Succop. And Pinion too why not.

I hope we get 15 players in as well. Then, they all decline as they are headed for the SuperBowl
