I really hope BL, BA, and Brady come in with a good game plan that offers short to intermediate passing. The bombs away approach isn’t getting it done, and the shorter passing will keep Mahomes off the field.

3. Mix up the offensive play calls. Slants, screens, runs to the outside / out of shotgun, etc.

unbelievable – this defense isn’t going to be able to do anything today, the offense has to score 40 to win. The Chiefs do not have a defense that is even remotely close to the Saints or Rams – you can throw on them. Running up the gut for no yards doesn’t help Brady in any way.

That deep pass was right on target, no idea how Mike missed it. Then Brady comes back on 3rd down and him and Mike are out of sync while Brown was wide open underneath and could have easily got the 1st. I love Mike, but something is wrong there – they have to work Brown more into things. If he’s cutting across underneath and getting open, it opens up things down the field later in the game, which is going to be really important.

The good thing about this game is that Romo will call it like it is. He’s already said the Bucs don’t do enough horizontal plays not enough motion. Too many long passes. The Glazers don’t like to be embarrassed on national TV. Bucs need a new offense that’s is smarter. Either BA and BL adapt, or they go.

I played CB in college in the 80s. I don’t know when this changed, but we kept the receiver in front of us the first 10 yards so we could see the QB’s eyes.
After that you better watch the defender and run with him

You use the short passing game as your running game and you take shots downfield.

I’m with you on not being predictable, but you gotta run enough to keep the defense honest and open it up for Brady. We’ve seen him when he tried to pass 50 times a game, it doesn’t work.
Plus we need to win the time of possession to keep the ball out of Mahomes hands and our defense fresh.

I dont even care about the Defense. We got some bigtime problems on offense. The Offense has fallen apart and are getting worse as the season goes on. Our passing game is totally pathetic and Mike Evans os a big part of it. He hasnt run the routes his QB has wanted all season. He is an awful route runner this year.

Winston from 2015-2019 had the worst defense in the NFL, the worst kicking game in the NFL and played the hardest schedule in the NFL — all while setting every offense record on the team (except for INTs, which Vinny still holds).

Literally all QBs, including Manning with 28 INTs, have career high INTs under Arians in their 1st year, then they settle down and are basically all-pro’s in year 2. That was the path for Winston too, he’d have dropped his INT’s to a Brady level of 12-14 INTs, but would also be getting you 30+ points a game…

Again, nothing against Brady, but why you give up on your 25 year gunslinger when there is such a clear history of QBs under Arians is beyond me. Hopefully the Bucs will make a run at Winston in the offseason and be able to bring him back and get his career back on track.

Buc4evr – nah, the team is much better than bad and even mediocre teams, they just can’t compete against good teams — certainly not when you just sit back in a soft zone and let the other team get up 20 points by the 2nd quarter.
They will still likely win 10 games, and get into the playoffs, and if we’re lucky get a 1st round game against the NFC East champ and hopefully win that — then they’ll get blown out in GB or something like that.

We need a real coaching staff. The entire world knows they were running it on the first series. For some reason our great LBs have become tissue soft. No excuse for this defense to blow it yet again when the game is on the line. Every damn time. Need better coaches

Gotta win 3 of next 4. Should be able to beat Vikes with 2 weeks to prepare, Lions are done and split Falcons if not sweep. At least we are very much in it as we enter December.
