People on Davis Islands and in South Tampa are slipping.
It’s common for Joe to get Twitter messages and e-mails from folks who spot Bucs players doing all sorts of things, both casual and not so casual.
Shoot, Joe remembers once getting a bunch of e-mails one Saturday night, all claiming Raheem Morris got tossed out of a wedding party in Orlando for being, well, tipsy.
Joe could never confirm that ever happened but oddly enough the next day there was a non-basketball association game in Orlando on TV. And guess who was sitting in prime seats near the court? Hhhmmm?
So Joe brings this up because no less of an authority than Jay Glazer at FOX Sports claims furniture-tossing wide receiver Antonio Brown has been living with park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.
In Derek Jeter’s waterfront mansion on Davis Islands.
Basically, Brady and Brown are going through the Bucs playbook every waking hour. Also, per Glazer, Brady is working as sort of a valet for Brown, setting him up in Tampa and hooking him up with (ahem) the right people. Tony Robbins is even counseling Brown, Glazer said. Joe wrote about that earlier.
Joe guesses the biggest question is, what does Jeter think about this? Brady has already bought a new home in Clearwater. Does Jeter allow subletting? How many visitors does Jeter allow and how long can they stay? Did Brady get permission from Jeter? Is this kosher with local zoning ordinances?
Joe hopes for Jeter’s sake that either the place wasn’t furnished when it was rented to Brady, or Jeter got a helluva down payment from Brown.

Boston boys point about the guy next to you at a bar, which was riffing off of another posters comment about the site mimicking such behavior and therefore trying to normalize Joe’s eye rolling monikers is exactly what I thought when reading these comments. If I was next to a guy in a bar, the so-called Joe that’s being referred to, and he referred to Brady with any of those ludicrous adjectives (much less any of the other many Bucs this is also been done to) I would look at him like he had two heads and assume he came off the short bus if you know what I mean. I accept the silliness as I’ve noted before I just don’t understand it or rather I don’t understand the repetitive use of it. As for it being a trigger, I’m not sure who’s more triggered when the owner of the site comments back so often on this very topic in an attempt to somehow legitimize it. This take above by Oneilbuc is such a bad take — like almost all of his takes.
I have saved this one as well to show how wrong he will be at the end of the season.
At the end of the season, Brady’s jersey will be ultimately clean because he understands when to get rid of the ball and not hold onto the ball.
Jameis in the 1st quarter thinks you run around to extend a play because you have to get a 3rd and five when you are down 10-0 to Green Bay. Brady throws the ball away. The Bucs punt. Brady does not throw the interception or take the sack there.
Jameis runs around evades a sack and makes a good play to get the 1st down 50% of the time. 20% of the time we get 2 or 3 yards and still are short and still have to punt. However, the other 30% of the times Jameis ran around and in the end made very bad plays taking sacks or committing turnovers.
Of course the bad play would most of the time have very little to do with Jameis – if you would listen to Oneilbuc. It would be the offensive line let too much pressure on Jameis or the receivers fault for running a weak or poor route. Yes those things happen as well.
In fact it has happened this year but we have a better quarterback. This quarterback understands turnovers are a problem. This quarterback understands that taking hits and sacks are a problem.
Brady will pass for less yards than America’s quarterback but according to Oneilbuc with be less impressive for not having the “5109” passing yards.
This guy above just does not get it!
He cannot see it!
He cannot sell his position!
