SMB “Ready To Go”
October 2nd, 2020Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians had injury updates for fans as Tampa Bay prepares for the Chargers on an expected rainy day at the Den of Depression on Sunday.
Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, who had to leave last week’s game at Denver in the first half with a hamstring/groin injury, should be starting Sunday. Arians noted SMB should be “ready to go.”
Receiver Scotty Miller has a hip issue and while he did get on the practice field today, Arians said he will have a better idea tomorrow at practice (walk-through) if Miller will be available Sunday.
Receiver Chris Godwin and running back Leonard Fournette are out, Arians said.
The Friday practice report is expected later this afternoon.

Great news! SMB is a key player in the Bucs secondary and gives Bowles even more versatility in how he deploys coverages and blitz packages.

Hopefully, Fournette and Godwin will be available for next Thursday’s game in Chicago.

The short week is probably why miller and fournette are not playing. This should be a game we can win with our defense alone
