Bruce Arians points to three players

Remember how the Bucs cleaned up their act last Sunday, recording zero accepted penalties against the Packers after looking like undisciplined high schoolers in Chicago?

Some players were granted credit.

Joe’s initial reaction to the massive turnaround was that Jason Pierre-Paul and Tom Brady must have stepped up to work the team behind the scenes. Those guys have rings and years of experience, and the credibility that comes along with that and their work ethics.

But Bucco Bruce Arians was asked about this subject on Bucs Total Access and he named Mike Evans, Ryan Jensen and Brady as three guys who really gave the team impactful lectures about fixing penalties immediately.

Hey, when players tune out coaches, then players must step in. If that’s what happened, then kudos to the Buccaneers locker room.

Now the question is whether it sticks, especially on the road, where the Bucs have struggled this season.

I’m still skeptical of the Bucs. If they play the rest of the season the way they played the packers last Sunday then I might let my guard down. Show me Bucs that the tides have changed and we are going to smash the raiders and any other team we play this year. Show me the culture has changed and we don’t go out today and embarrass ourselves like we have done in recent years after a huge win. COME ON TAMPA MAKE MY DOUBTS GO AWAY WITH A PCKER LIKE WIN TODAY !!!! GO BUCS

I’m just happy we are no longer the laughingstock this year. And even more happy there’s no draft talk yet that was the norm.

The draft talk may just be drafting 32nd in the first round!
    How cool would that be?

Contenders will string together series of wins against good teams. I’m a big believer on any given Sunday, any NFL team can pull off an upset….but to be legit, you have to win the next week and the next…and next. Winning in the playoffs requires a winning streak against good teams. The Raiders are a good test for how we might perform in the playoffs, we have to play solid ball week after week if we want to play a SB in Tampa.

    Hey Bruce
If players tune out the coaches. GET RID OF THEM

I’m not sure why Jensen would be talking he’s one of the main offenders.

    @Go Bucs 72,

My thoughts exactly, but it takes an offender to accept his part and set an example. So, good for him. Let’s see if he can keep his cool the rest of the season. The Bears game could have been won without those penalties.

I guess Jensen was getting real about his part in the undisciplined play. He has crossed the line to many times since he signed in Tampa. Good to see honesty and accountability by the players. Mike has his own share of stupid penalties also. We know with Brady in Tampa, it is not the same ol same ol crap that has undermined this team far to many times over the decades. SUPER BOWL OR BUST!!!! GO BUCS!!!

  10. Ge Fit Says:

Go Tampa ….keep Brady happy. He is a perfectionist. Just look at the Patriots without him !

I feel ya bro but if they play like they did Sunday they will finish 14-2 and be the odds on favorites in the SB unless KC keeps that mantle.

“But brady yelled at his team”
