What a manly, January-like road victory this was for the Buccaneers today.
It’s the stuff that makes playoff dreams real. The Bucs (5-2) are now undefeated at home and .500 on the road. That’s how you win the freakin’ division.
Back-to-back blowouts of winning football teams!
Tom Brady was phenomenal, 32-for-44 for 346 yards and 4 touchdown passes.
Brady is on pace for 41 touchdowns and 9 interceptions!!!
Devin White broke through as an effective quarterback hunter for the second consecutive game, which is very, very exciting. Three sacks for White – Three!
Chris Godwin looked in midseason form.
Scotty Miller continues to be a legitimate deep threat.
Leonard Fournette returned revitalized.
The run defense continues to flourish. Pro Bowler Josh Jacobs with 10 carries for 17 yards.
And the second-best part is angry Chucky was humiliated on his home turf.
The best part? The Bucs are alone in first place and off to play a crappy Giants team in 8 days.

The difference in QB the last few games, not to mention the whole season, cannot be overstated. What a wholesale difference on all levels. Ball protection. Accuracy. The list goes on. If both sides of the ball continue to play like this we are absolutely legitimate contenders come January / February. And possibly March…

I think the Steelers and Chiefs are the best overall teams in the league. I’d absolutely put our bucs in the tier immediately below them though.

Hold on…Todd Bowles as someone who understands his defense wanted Devin White and not Josh Allen. Now “Joe” as someone who doesn’t understand this this defense (or football, admitting today he never watched the Patriots?) keeps harping on IMPENDING DOOM Antonio Brown. Maybe BA and Licht (AND TOM) understand this football team (& football in general) and know it’s gonna be ok. So it’s official: if Joe deems something a bad football move, feel good about it.

23 is routinely in over his head it would seem. I will say that Edwards makes plays, almost immediately when he enters the game.
Defense isn’t 2002, but not many are. I’d like a little more from the D before I crown us….

offense was exciting, secondary could be better. good to see Winfield get a pick, Edwards had a pick too–penalty negated it. They had an offensive line that does not give up, our defense prevailed, we have White and David our secret weapons! Our offensive line was playing well as TB12 had time.

This is a bend don’t break defense. When they stop bending they really put the snack down on people. Edwards definitely should start over SMB who is always running behind receivers. Glad Winfield got his first! You can see how he made sure to get his arms under that ball. He really wanted that one! Perfect place perfect time!
