Antonio Brown Visiting Bucs

October 23rd, 2020

Meeting with Bruce Arians.

It seems nutcase free agent wide receiver/cancer Antonio Brown is visiting the Bucs. And the two sides are serious.

Per one of the most plugged-in reporters in America, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Brown is visiting the Bucs. Wilson cited multiple sources via Twitter.

And it seems the guy behind this is park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady and Brown were teammates for a few weeks before Brown was thrown off the Belicheats. This was just after Antonio Brown was such an ass he got himself kicked off the Raiders. And this was before Brown was such an ass and quitter he got tossed off the Steelers.

In Joe’s eyes, this skunk, who is eligible to play after serving a suspension for a hassle with a woman, is the antithesis of what the Bucs have built. The entire roster is a team-first mentality.

Brown is nothing but all about Brown and if he doesn’t get his way, he fully freaks out.

This also tells Joe that perhaps the Bucs are not confident that Mike Evans and/or Chris Godwin can get back to being 100 percent after being hobbled through much of the first six weeks.

Great draft background here and more from Devin White, as he joins Buccaneers legend Derrick Brooks and The Sage of Tampa Bay Sports, Ira Kaufman. Great stuff from The Identity Tampa Bay and Joe.

This will go down as one of the dumbest deals by the Bucs in their history. What is the point of this? WR is not one of our weak spots.

  2. WinnipegBucsFan Says:

Would be a very small risk but an extremely high reward signing. If he’s a malcontent you release him and his career is likely over. He has all the pressure to make this work. I say let’s go for the whole thing.
    No Risk It No Biscuit!

  3. yeah Says:

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  4. Chris G Says:

There is absolutely no risk to this move and a very hefty reward if it works out. No problem with it at all. If he’s still a nutcase just cut him and move on. Win now at ALL COSTS! Trust in Jason Licht!

  5. Bucamania Says:

Oh boy, here we go. I think Evans is hurt worse than we know.

  6. DaBux Says:

As long as Brady and Arians keep the leash on him, maybe. I’m still not sold on him not acting like an idiot.

  7. Half-Caucked Jeudy Says:

I really don’t know about this one….this guy has not proven that he’s worthy to have on the team.

  8. Aristotle Says:

Rather lose than allow this cancer In

  9. Taylor Says:

    Diva

  10. Steven007 Says:

As both Winnipeg and Chris said, this is definitely low risk high reward. He proves he’s an ass he’s gone. No harm no foul. I trust the leaders on this team.

  11. chris L Says:

does any fan want this? i am so worried about the locker room. this team fights for eachother and this reminds of desean and swaggy. i hope brady can keep him in check but omg i really hope we dont regret this. win a superbowl and i wont care

  12. Steven007 Says:

Arians is obviously on the record as not being a fan of this move, at least before the season started. I am sure the leash will be extremely short with AB. Clearly an all in move by the team.

  13. jcscycles Says:

Yeah, but if it works out – wow! The man is a game changer. He had a chemistry with Brady inthe short time he palyed with the patriots. And we have enough leaders in the locker room to keep him under control.

  14. Steven007 Says:

With the recent signing of McLendon, this move would pretty much even out in terms of the locker room. Between Brady, JPP, Suh, and now McClendon, I have a feeling they can keep him in line if he does come.

  15. Bangkok Buc Says:

I cant imagine this would happen if Evans and Godwin were 100% healthy. But, we’re all in for the SB and if anyone could control this malcontent, its Brady.

  16. WomenareBucsFansToo Says:

This totally sucks. We have more than enough guys that don’t get enough catches. Who is the diva here, Brady?

  17. MP Says:

This is a case where Suh, David, and JPP throttle his ass up day one as tell him “dont f up what we got here or you’ll be cut because of an off the field injury”

  18. WyomingBucsFan Says:

Good enough for Tom Brady then good enough for me, pretty simple to me.

Sources: The #Bucs have been quietly working on a deal with WR Antonio Brown and it’s now
“very close.” Tom Brady has been pushing for this for some time. Now looks to be happening. Brown is on his way to TB.

  20. WillieG Says:

He’s a knuckle head but surely he’s smart enough to know a last chance when he gets it………..?

  21. webster Says:

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH. SSSSSSS#######!!!!!!!!!+++++++. The bucs are serious about this all in year. Make it happen!!!!!

  22. EEK Says:

    I like the thinking
AB can return kicks and do dirty work underneath
    Get 2-4 looks a game

When he gets crazy, he can be let go

Also this way Seattle can’t get him

  23. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

Dumb dumb dumb!!!! This guy is a cancer!!! … Brown if you’re reading this you are A HORRIBLE person I don’t care how fast you run or how well you catch a ball or highly you think of yourself!!! Just because you have money doesn’t make you smart, just because you can run fast doesn’t make you special!! …. You are a horrible person in the inside that needs a real come to Jesus moment!! Hopefully being kicked out of the league for being the biggest douche in the world humbled you a little…. But I doubt it!! When you die, AND YOU WILL DIE ONE DAY, you will for sure go to hell if there is one!! … So, in closing this is a dumb move and Brown…. Eat S*** and die!! … Hopefully before you actually become a buc

  24. Brion Says:

Mmm… all things considered – I like it just slightly better than going 5 wide with Cyril Grayson

  25. mixxx31 Says:

    Not feelin it

  26. pewter941 Says:

Your only as good as your weakest link, bye bye Watson.

  27. BucEmUp Says:

I dont like the guy, but we have all seen what happens when godwin and or evans goes down. For the price it is a good signing as ling as he keeps his mouth shut and his paws open for the ball.Fall in line, sit on the bench until your name is called. PERIOD!!!

  28. Jporter Says:

I think there doing it to keep him out of Seattle. Cuz it’s going to come down to Seattle or Tampa in the super bowl.

  29. Cobraboy Says:

    WR injuries must be bad.

  30. August 1976 Buc Says:

The walking WR MASH UNIT needs help. Brady has ben hamstrung all season so far. Big need,. This is no time to just sit back just play it safe. The end of last season is a good reminder. Same reason they signed McLendon before the game against GB. Leave nothing to chance. Go for the jugular baby. If he starts diva crap, simply let him go. But most likely we get the church mouse version, at least this season. GO BUCS!!!!!

  31. WillieG Says:

Weren’t Godwin, Evans, and Miller all hurt last year? Didn’t they miss the final games? It might be a good signing after all.

  32. Buc4ever Says:

After the Bucs let Perriman go they have no true backup if Evans or Goodwin can’t go. Last two games of the previous season were proof. Brown is certainly a nutcase but this is his last chance and he knows it. Brady will keep his azz in line.

  33. Mike Says:

Now we know why they restructured 1 of the offensive lineman’s contract-

  34. Christopher Schiefen Says:

Joe, do you know anything about human nature? If Brown performs well, we win, which will also benefit Brown. If Brown “freaks out” at lack of use, we cut him and by then Evans, Godwin, and Miller will be healthy by then. You’re supposed to be the voice of the regular fan and you’re the biggest Karen complainer in Bucs fandom.
This is rich. Joe doesn’t tell any fans how to be a fan, or what to believe is in the best interest of the franchise. It’s an unnecessary risk that hopefully will succeed. –Joe

  35. Christopher Schiefen Says:

Just impressed you posted the comment, Joe 😉✌️

  36. O'Neilbuc Says:

Cobraboy I say the same thing it must be a major injury to Evans .

  37. Kobe Faker Says:

“This is a perfect example of a relationship of a Narcissist and Borderline personality disorder

    AB and Tom Brady

    Fatal attraction

Which one is Michael Douglas and which one Glenn Close?

Kobe Faker can picture Brady slow cook a neighbors pet rabbit”

    Kobe Faker

  38. adam from ny Says:

omg this is a wild move

  39. Bush's Coke Spoon Says:

People calling this his “last chance.” you don’t think he was told the same thing at his last 3 stops? Giving someone his fourth “last chance” only reinforces his delusions of grandeur. It makes people like him worse.

It’s not just his attitude that he can act any sexual way he pleases around women, his treatment of teammates and coaches, and his repeated police involvement. The last straw for me was when he video’d himself berating and dressing down his child’s mother in public, and thinking it was acceptable enough behavior to post online. Imagine how he teaches his young ones to behave toward women (including their mother) when he is in a private setting? Who will ever break that cycle and be a positive male role model in their lives?

He is gross, and this is just the latest indication that the Glazers are not who we thought they were.

  40. unbelievable Says:

Agree with most- this guy is a cancer and the opposite of what this team needs.

Plus we are deep at WR.

  41. Boston Boy Says:

    LMAO…
Joebucsfan thinks Antonio Brown is a bad signing. Meaning that it is an obvious good one. You thought Brady was a bad signing and posted stupid puff pieces for Winston. You have been a perennial loser for decades now and you think like one. You were TERRIBLY wrong about Brady. LOL. Where was Joe wrong about Brady? Joe embraced the signing because it represented an upgrade. Certainly Joe never implied Jameis 2019 was Brady than 2019. Why does it feel so good to make things up?–Joe
Now you impose false self serving supposed morality not based on anything in the 10 Commandments as it pertains to Brown. So sad.
