Mind Over Matter

September 2nd, 2020

Rejuvenated.

The keyword for foot-rubbing Rob Gronkowski, per a national TV report, is “joy.”

And no, it is not necessarily about what he first sees when he wakes up in the morning.

It seems the future Hall of Fame tight end for the Bucs has found new life in Tampa Bay. No, not just a new football life. But inner peace and a full heart.

Gronk retired from football a year ago because he was beat to a pulp physically. James Palmer of NFL Network believes, as does Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians, that Gronk is looking like he is five years younger in training camp.

Why is that? Well, Palmer said Gronk and Arians have become bros and Gronk really likes practicing for Arians. But Palmer used a word over and over again to describe the new mental state of Gronk.

“Joy.”

Gronk is now enjoying football again playing for Arians, and reunited with his old pal park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.

You can see the full report for yourself in the NFL Network video below.

he is in a a really good once in a lifetime place–right place, right team, right coach, right quarterback, right girl. It will all come together, keep Tom Brady healthy and upright–most important key to opening up the Gronk box.

    Maybe on offense…

    Defense? I don’t think so….

  7. Dangeruss Says:

Boycott the NFL if season ticket holders are not allowed into the home games. Stop this Chyna flu silliness and let people into the games.

  8. Rayjay1122 Says:

Jmarkbuc may be right but remember, defense was allowed to be physical back then. Much more difficult with the vanilla rules today.
