Chargers Lose Pro Bowl Corner

Won’t play against Bucs.
You think maybe park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Bucs quarterback Tom Brady is already dreaming of lighting up a backup corner?
Last last night, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that veteran Chargers Pro Bowl cornerback Chris Harris will miss likely a month of playing time beginning with the Chargers’ game at the Bucs this coming Sunday.
Harris suffered an undisclosed foot injury in a loss to the Stinking Panthers on Sunday.
Harris joins another starter from the Los Angeles secondary Derwin James — Derwin James! — on the shelf for the Chargers.

Chargers laid an egg this week vs the Panthers but don’t be fooled this is a much better team than we’ve played the last few weeks. Lynn is a great coach, Ekler is still way underrated and their defense has got a ton of talent.

Their D is not bad. They have a pass rush for sure. That said, it’s likely to be a Rook at QB and some backups in the secondary. There are very few teams that frighten me on the run game, and this ain’t one of them. Chargers and Broncos will be dueling for the AFC West cellar this year. There has to be no let up though. You have to beat teams you should beat to make the playoffs.

2015 selected to the PRO BOWL…
2017 got BUF to the playoffs for the first time since ’99…
2017 was selected to the PRO BOWL as an alternate….

It’s amazing that we keep enjoying good fortune for once. I hate seeing player’s injured and I would like us to beat teams at their full strength BUT don’t get it twisted… I’ll take wins how they come!
