Big Prediction For Bucs
September 2nd, 2020A respected national talking head is giving major respect to a young Bucs player.
Closet Bucs fan Peter Schrager of NFL Network, co-host of the popular weekday morning show “Good Morning Football,” has been counting down his top breakout players for the 2020 season.
So why is his closet Bucs fandom getting to his noggin? Because Schrager says the breakout player for the 2020 season will be Bucs inside linebacker Devin White.
“I’m going with linebacker,” Schrager began. “I’ve been talking about it all summer long. I think Devin White is going to be the breakout player of 2020.
“He had some good games last year. He was also injured last year. Wearing a giant brace on his knee at one point. Now that he is healthy he is going to be a prime time talent.”
Why should Bucs fans give a hoot about what Schrager thinks? Consider Schrager’s track record.
In 2018, Schrager picked Chiefs quarterback Pat Mahomes for his breakout player of the year. He went on to win the NFL MVP that season. Last year, Schrager picked Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. The Oklahoma product went on to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
So this is a very good sign.
See Schrager’s full take in the NFL Network video below.

White is a solid pick by Schrager. I’m betting on Alex Cappa as the Bucs breakout player this year. Not a sexy pick I know. Me just thinks he puts it all togeher this year.

My breakout pick is OJ Howard. TB12 is going to feed that beast all year.

OJ Howard sucks, I think it’ll be Vita Vea

White is a good choice. He has ridiculous speed and is a fierce competitor with a big, Ray Lewis type of personality, that can help elevate the play of his teammates. If he stays healthy and the Bucs D-Linemen keep him clean, he is going to be a wrecking ball.

I think there will be 2 breakout players Ronald Jones and Jamel Dean who really started getting better last year after he was exposed in the Seattle game.

I hope everyone so far is right. Let’s have like 6 breakout players on the Bucs this year. It’s all possible! Why can’t OJ finally put a legit season together? Why can’t the CBs elevate? Why can’t Cappa solidify himself at guard? Why can’t Devin white have a pro-bowl year?
Put that all together with the established talent on this team, and THAT my friends is how this team arrives in the promised land within the new sombrero in February!

white is nice, but not a ray lewis type of mentality. Not many are, that dude was out to kill people, literally

My pick would be yo momma. With the covid lock down, she’s ready to break out and show off her mad ball skills.

my pick is one of our cornerbacks–any one of the three, Carlton, Dean or SMB

I would point out that the best thing about this team and this question is that there are so many different answers. This means a lot more talent than we are used to lately.
For my part, im going with 40 sacks total between JPP and Shaq

my pic is OJ Howard he made 34 catches off of 53 targets with JW throwing the ball imagine what he can do with tb12 tossing it around he is a physical freak and was elite among tight ends in the YPC category go Bucs.
