Once again a rousing chat, gentlemen … at least for me!  🤗

As per the discussion about Rojo there may be a reason BA seems to see something in Rojo that maybe many of us apparently cannot. For anyone who may care, check this out.

Lindy’s Sports had Rojo rated THIRD in his draft class coming out of college as a junior behind only Saquon Barkley and Darius Guice. Yes, that’s right he was rated ahead of Kerryon Johnson, Sony Michel, Rashad Penny and Nick Chubb.

In comparison to ALL of the running backs they had this to say about him as an outside runner, “… no one hits the burst button like Jones, a Jamaal Charles clone …” *

Some of his weaknesses were noted as, “… lacking an ideal build for the position. …. Needs to further his development as a receiver …” *

He came out for the draft as a junior.  He is 23 years old now. He is reported to have bulked up to about 225 pounds during the recent off season.

My prediction: Ronald Jone II will be “exhibit A” for the difference between the coaching  quality of Bruce Arians (and Todd McNair) and that of his predecessor(s) this year.  Jones is motivated and he has the right coaches now.
