Another Sign Of Fans At Bucs Games
August 27th, 2020Recently, Joe brought word that the Tampa Sports Authority held a job fair for prospective workers at Bucs home games, the Super Bowl and for South Florida Bulls home football games.
Both Miami and Jacksonville have announced plans and specifics for allowing NFL fans to attend home games. The Bucs have not. Yet.
The overseer of the Den of Depression has yet to announce if fans will be allowed at Bucs games. But the job fair and Joe’s knowledge that some Bucs suite holders have been told they will have access to their seats are strong smoke signals that there may be fans this fall.
Here’s another breadcrumb: A big shot with the Tampa Sports Authority, Eric Hart, explained to Eric Glassner of WTSP-TV Channel 10 a reason for the late announcement.
The Den of Depression has to be refitted in order to host events in the era of The Sickness to comply with CDC guidelines.
Raymond James Stadium wasn’t built with COVID-19 in mind, and so unlike newer, more modern venues, it has to be converted to meet CDC guidelines.
That means hundreds of new touchless bathroom facilities and ticket-taking systems are being installed. Online and wireless payment systems for hundreds of vendors will soon be in place. They’re also adding U-V lights capable of killing viruses to the stadium’s massive air conditioning system.
“We want to try to kill the virus because it’s recirculating,” Hart said. “Because the concern has been the indoor spaces.”
Now Hart didn’t say there would or would not be fans at home games, but the implication is clear. Why would the Tampa Sports Authority spend millions to refit the stadium to comply with CDC guidelines if it didn’t plan on opening the games to an unknown amount of fans?
The simple answer is, it wouldn’t spend a nickel refitting the stadium if the governing body didn’t plan on fans.
Now one might say, “Oh Joe, the stadium will host a Super Bowl in February. They have to do this.” Sure, but Hart made it clear to WTSP he’s under a tight deadline. The Super Bowl isn’t until February.
It seems the only thing left hanging for Bucs fans is who and how many fans will be allowed at home games.
“You will see a different approach when you come to the stadium,” Hart told WTSP.
That doesn’t exactly sound like the gates to the Den of Depression will remain bolted this fall.

Hillsborough County has what, 2 million people here? And how many cases do we have a day in Tampa? Some days – LESS THAN 100. 0.0000004%. How many of those cases are nursing home or even false positives perhaps? Media has everyone by the balls. Virus barely exists here in the area and everywhere you go here everyone is running around like scared little pus**. Every business and establishment out there are being overly/laughably conservative not because of the virus. It’s lawyers/lawsuits/liability. Between this and “other things” happening – what a complete joke of a world we live in. Vote November 3. Say no to Marxism and section 8 housing being built in your peaceful suburban neighborhoods
August 27th, 2020 at 7:22 am
CDC is a joke. If you don’t believe then how is it you can go to a restaurant, you have to wear a mask just when you walk in but as soon as they take you to your table you take the mask off. You have people walking around without mask on. COVID hasn’t killed as many people with the flue yet you don’t see people wearing mask to protect them from the flu.
August 27th, 2020 at 7:25 am
2 million people in Hillsborough county. Usually less than 100 cases a day. What a joke. Fear is the ultimate tool of control. Fines, lawsuits, lawyers, liability. These are the real reasons we aren’t going back to real mass gatherings, and things of that nature even if there are 5 cases a day. We’re all getting played. Ok back to watching the news of people “protesting” over some guy that got shot who had an open warrant for being a pedo with a 14yr old girl
August 27th, 2020 at 8:22 am
Gofortheface30, how do you really feel? Lol!
August 27th, 2020 at 8:36 am
Why is this some kind of scoop?
I have an email from the Bucs saying there are GOING TO BE A REDUCED CAPACITY OF FANS at the stadium this year and STHs get first crack at tickets by order of tenure.
🚨Yeah. I got a “sign” that there are gonna be fans at games. It’s this email I printed that says there are going to be fans at games that came from the people that send fans tickets to the games!!!! (Waves paper frantically)🚨
You hiring investigative journalists, Joe? I think I’m more than qualified.

@Gofortheface & #2 Bucsfan,
I rarely post anymore, in part because of the stupid comments on here. It does not matter if we have a less than 1% death rate, or if the symptoms range from nothing to flu-like. The real reason the virus is out-of-control is because of people showing how ignorant and selfish they are by not doing a simple thing like wearing a mask. How f-ing simple is that? Yeah, its all a big political conspiracy… how dumb.
August 27th, 2020 at 9:02 am
Gofortheface30 I agree with you 100% time to stop the lies and get back to living a real life!!! More people got the flu than this crap!!! The mask thing is a joke with people wearing just rags around their face and their nose out what does that prevent? Hockey has barley stopped and kids play all the time and they just recently made the people attending wear masks!!! It’s all about lawsuits!!! Let’s play some football!! Vote November 3rd you have a choice to live like this or go back to normal!!! I just want to see the Bucs win some games!!! Let’s start with the Saints!!!

Great, one day it’s El Buco Dicko spewing his sports BS, the next it’s gofortheface’s political BS.
The comments section on joebucsfan has become a f’ing joke.
Longing for the days when we could just talk sports, without all the BS wrapped around it.

folks meet @face30….the problem with this country!!!!
GO BUCS!!!!
August 27th, 2020 at 11:05 am
Buc f’boi easily manipulated. Go hide under your bed. I’m 98% you’re a white guilt hipster, living your life thinking it’s cool to be a hypocritical woke moron. Hiding under your bed over a small fraction OF A FRACTION amount of people that get infected. What a little beta nerd. Do go show your support for someone that sexually assaulted a 14yr old
August 27th, 2020 at 11:15 am
Senor Harry, you contradicted yourself. You just said it doesn’t matter if the infection rate is less than 1 percent and yet in that same breath you said the virus is out of control. Which is it. Did you actually drink the worm while sitting in Costa Rica brah? People that are for sweeping changes to placate the few are the absolute worst – commie. Far more businesses and livelihoods are ruined than the number of people dying. You Dems are trashy people. No ability to persevere, with self defeated beliefs and loser mentality. This is why you will never get your money right. Excuses, thinking like a loser, no strength. Want to eat out of the government hand.

Longing for the days when we could just talk sports, without all the BS wrapped around it….El Bucco
Bucco, I’m one of the few that think traditional NFL games now are unrealistic. No FB anyplace yet. SEC or ACC may fire up, but watch it crash and burn and cancel mid-season. I have followed the Bucs since 1978 and would like to post about Brady’s favorite target, however, I think it is silly to do so in current conditions. When guys like Go for30 post ignorant comments I respond. Today they are too stupid for a response.
August 27th, 2020 at 11:54 am
well….
NFL may not be played for the right reason….
@face30, im not the only one “showing support”….
if you’re not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem…and you’ve made that perfectly clear…you are part of the problem….
GO BUCS!!!
August 27th, 2020 at 11:56 am
[That’s way out of line and you know exactly what Joe is referring to. There is no place for that on this site. Further, Joe will maintain this isn’t the Glazers’ call. If Mayor Jane or the Hillsborough County commission puts out another emergency order banning public gatherings if the virus flares up again, just how exactly do the Bucs get around that? — Joe]

you’re right…
GO BUCS!!!
August 27th, 2020 at 12:07 pm
Go for the face: 100% agree with you. And we’re supposed to believe the media, which is lying about everything else, is telling the unbiased truth about COVID. Btw.. all the hospitals in Seattle just dismantled their COVID wards. Not enough COVID patients. I have 2 immediate family members who are Drs at two different hospitals there. Haven’t heard that on the news. A lie? No. But an intentional omission of good news? They do that every day. Can’t get mail in voting (so they can cheat) if this thing is over. They’re desperate to keep it going and keep everyone scared and miserable. I’m voting for optimism and no more anarchy and it ain’t the Democrats.
August 27th, 2020 at 12:26 pm
sadly folks still dont see the problem with a black man being shot in the back 7 times by police officers…they only look at his past….not at he fact that there were several officers on the scene who should have training on how to subdue a suspect….
while in the same city, a 17year old white kid walks down the street with a AR15 fatally shoots 2 people in front of witness….cops peacefully place him under arrest….
GO BUCS!!!!

Señor Harry in Costa Rica Says:
” Yeah, its all a big political conspiracy… how dumb.”
.
.
What’s dumb is people who refuse to see the obvious when it’s put right in front of their face.
For over 100 years, globalist elites have told us in plain language that they have a plan for global enslavement. They even call it a New World Order or “global governance.” If you hear it come out of their own mouths, it’s not a cOnSpIraCy tHeoRy. It’s a factual, admitted plan.
For the last number of decades, the Rockefeller Foundation has made it clear that the plan for global governance was going to be implemented using a global pandemic as a catalyst for change. If you hear it come out of their own mouths, it’s not a cOnSpIraCy tHeoRy. It’s a factual, admitted plan.
Bill Gates, and his Foundation have been clear in their desire to use “vaccines and health care” to help reduce the population to “sustainable levels.” sounds like the very definition of eugenics to me. If you hear it come out of their own mouths, it’s not a cOnSpIraCy tHeoRy. It’s a factual, admitted plan.
In 2010, the Rockefeller Foundation working with the UN laid out a plan for a global response to a hypothetical pandemic. It was called Operation Lockstep. If you hear it come out of their own mouths, it’s not a cOnSpIraCy tHeoRy. It’s a factual, admitted plan.
In 2019, the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, Bloomberg School Of Public Health, World Economic Forum, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, among others took part in Event 201, which mirrored Operation Lockstep, and outlined a quite detailed global response to a “hypothetical” worldwide pandemic. Looking back now, it sure looks like it was a final tuneup. If you hear it come out of their own mouths, it’s not a cOnSpIraCy tHeoRy. It’s a factual, admitted plan.
A man who has taken over a hundred million dollars from the Gates Foundation (what a coincidence) is now the point man in the White House controlling the nation’s response to a lab-altered virus released, and the Operation Mockingbird media has made it quite clear that they will raise holy hell of Trump fires him. Isn’t the press supposed to be objective? When did they start telling the White House who they can hire and fire?
That Gates man in the White House, besides his conflict of interest with the Gates Foundation (isn’t the Press supposed to be rooting out corruption instead of demanding it?) is also the owner of 4 different vaccine patents which are currently in play. Funny how the press continues to pretend that they knoew nothing about this! If you hear it come out of their own mouths, it’s not a cOnSpIraCy tHeoRy. It’s a factual, admitted plan.
The only dumb ones, Mr Harry, are the mind-numbed robots who refuse to see the elephant even though it is sitting right in the middle of the room. The ones who repeat what the press tells them to think, and then have the arrogance to call anyone not agreeing with him a cOnSpiRaCy tHeoRiSt, which is a term by the way, which was coined by the CIA in order to discredit people who refused to believe the Warren Commission lies about how John Kennedy died. But you do whatever makes you feel good about yourself, Mr Harry. I would rather take people seriously when they tell us what they have planned, and the power to make it happen.

It’s horrible how many doctors and nurses got laid off and furloughed because of this. I think most Florida hospitals have gone back to normal operations, so I hope everyone is able to go back to work.

COVID-19 is a real virus, but a false pandemic. (Facts prove it)
Give us back our lives or we will take it at your cost. (Don’t make it come to that)
Do not take a knee during the national anthem or i’ll start a jersey burning event at the corner of W. Tampa Blvd. and N. Dale Mabry.
I will support you 100% if want to take a moment of silence for whatever you want us to acknowledge after our American National anthem finishes.
And in general please do not act tough if you are not willing to back it up because that’s were fantasy meets reality.
I’m hopeful and wishing for a miracle to see my Tampa Bay Buccaneers play this season instead of watching them on madden.

Not sure where Gofortheface30 is getting his numbers but; (1) the population in Hillsborough County in 2020 is estimated at 1,490,000 not 2 million, (2) the number of reported infections in Hillsborough, over the past two weeks, has been under 100 only one day. Otherwise, Hillsborough has been reporting an average of 209 new cases per day.
Statewide, we’re doing somewhat better with the number of new cases down to about 3,000 per day. Better, but not good enough.
Having said that, the real risk of fatality from the virus is with people 65 and over. Fully 82% of fatalities attributed to the virus are with people 65 and over. The number dying per day has been declining but is still averaging over 100 per day.
That is what Mayor Castor and the Florida Governor have to deal with.
August 27th, 2020 at 3:43 pm
In 2019, The Mortality rate in the state of Florida was 560 deaths per day.
August 27th, 2020 at 3:48 pm
Public officials in Florida have a difficult decision as regards spectators at athletic events. It was only a month ago that new cases were averaging about 10,000 per day. ICUs were reported to be near full. Fortunately, things have improved, somewhat. Do public officials allow spectators at games, and risk a surge in new cases and hospitalizations? And for whose benefit?

I’m confused.
1. What is 100M$ Gates man doing in the White House?
2. The media is stopping Trump from firing him?
3. Trump (Macho-man Trump) is afraid of the press?
Seems like you have your conspiracy theories coming in conflict with your political beliefs.
Meanwhile, ignore the REPUBLICAN run senate report that says his campaign DID know of Russian help to harm Hillary. They DID welcome it (see Trump Jr. W.H. meeting). They DID share with the Russians state by state demographics while the Russians were sending out fake Facebook info. And, after that Marco Rubio DID say it “proves” there was no collusion.
It’s not some web site fever dream- -Google it- -it’s there.

Trust me, there are a lot of people who would like to know why he is still there. I don’t trust Trump, either. At least there’s no record of him taking money from China, unlike the Clintons and Bidens.

@bucsfaninOregon
Robert Mueller, the man tasked with investigating “Russia! Russia! Russia!” finally admitted when under oath that there was no Russia collusion, and that the data used to justify the investigation to begin with was unsubstantiated, thus should never have been taken seriously. If you are still going on about Russia collusion, you are psycho.

The virus, the warnings, infections the deaths, all political hoaxes right? Come on Buc fans you gotta be smarter than that..right? some here say only 100 infected in the county per day. hell, even 10 is far to many. The last few yrs have convinced me many of my fellow americans ain’t as bright as I thought.

All political hoaxes? Nope. The media coverage? Yup.
August 27th, 2020 at 6:59 pm
Man, I am just totally shocked to see the same usual idiots all crying about a media hoax (Hint: it’s not. 180,000 dead people, millions more infected. Must just be whole lot of crisis actors tho, amiright?) are also the same ones who think there’s nothing wrong with an unarmed black man being shot 7 times in his back with his kids right there in the car.
