Impact!
July 3rd, 2020So which free agent will have the biggest impact on his new team this year?
Joe assumes some out there will say Jack Conklin or Dante Fowler. Maybe Bryan Bulaga.
And of course, there was a lot of quarterback movement in free agency from Philip Rivers to Teddy Bridgewater to Cam Newton.
But as far as quarterbacks go, one respected columnist believes none will have a bigger impact than park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.
Jay Glazer of The Athletic, in a recent Q&A column, stated Brady’s impact isn’t just limited to the football field.
Which quarterback on a new team do you see making the biggest impact? — Cameron B.
How could it not be Tom Brady? He’s going to have the biggest impact no matter what. He will have an impact on overall eyeballs on that team, everyone else on that roster, on the business of the Buccaneers. It’s just Brady.
Glazer is right on. The Bucs, nearly overnight, went from a bad late-night joke in a thumping South Tampa hotspot to internationally acclaimed. In just a few hours, Tampa Bay went from a total February afterthought to having the most buzz in the NFL that lasts to this day.
What Brady did for the Bucs is like what your neighbor will blow up in the backyard tomorrow night, the annual hell-on-earth artillery barrage for dogs of all types and sizes (hide your pillows and shoes).
In hours, fans went from not really giving two flips if they attended a game or two at the Den of Depression to jamming TicketMaster trying to get in line for season tickets.
The Bucs went from fighting for airtime on local TV and radio stations to dominating coverage.
Yes, Brady has already had a massive impact on the Bucs. Now the next step is to put this offense on his shoulders.

I hope Tom Brady.
If the correct answer is not Tom Brady we are in trouble this season… lol
If TB12 does not have an MVP type season we don’t stand a chance in the NFC South.

With what he has to work with, I am pretty sure Brady will be number one or two in NFC MVP voting. Maybe NFL MVP too.

Pretty sure he can do that.

The thing I’m focusing on is the defense I want to see what they are going be . The defense and the running game I has been the real problem with the team . It wasn’t the quarterback like yall love to say because the pass 5 years we have been at the top of the NFL rankings and that’s with out a running game all but 1 year .
