Bucs stud linebacker Lavonte David isn’t into pimping himself out. But it seems he has no issue propping up a young teammate.
David made a rare national TV appearance this morning and a chunk of his interview was spent hyping fellow linebacker Devin White.
(David is nice as can be but he’s just uncomfortable in the klieg lights of TV.)
Appearing on “Good Morning Football” seen weekday mornings on NFL Network, David spoke with the nation’s “It” girl, Kay Adams. The co-host believes the Bucs may have the best pair of linebackers in the league with Devin White and David.
“I believe you guys are the best one-two punch at linebacker in the NFL this year,” Adams said. “Can you tell me if you think I am right?”
David beamed and agreed with Adams.
“Yeah, of course!” David said. “Of course you are right on point with it.”
David went on to explain how White is “a straight baller” once he returned from a knee injury last season, White’s rookie year.
“His first game back you could tell how much he missed it,” David said. “He came out there flying around.”

Wow he looks fat!!! I’m not sure how much weight he normally gain’s through the off-season but he don’t look good!! I hope they are not buying into the hype!! But SURELY a pro like David wouldn’t fall for that!! … Man this lockdown just needs to end!! People are going out anyway… if you are worried don’t go out… It’s simple…. I wonder how these guys are staying in shape?? They already missed one camp right? Like the rookie mini camp or something??

No offense, but you pretty much just said you can tell a player/person’s physique from a head shot with a hoodie on. You do realize how ridiculous that is right? LVD has never had a weight problem. Hard to imagine in a year where he can finally claim his just rewards he’s going to slack off and come into camp fat.

Lets move Minter to the inside and let LVD go back to OLB. That is no doubter at best OLB duo with Shaq. RBs are going no where.
