Jags-Bucs Training Camp Practices Coming To Tampa
May 8th, 2020A host/reporter at the top sports radio station in Jacksonville has a fresh report today.
Hays Carlyon of 92.5 FM shared via Twitter that Jags head coach Doug Marrone said his club would hold joint practices with the Buccaneers this summer.
The Bucs first home game of preseason is against Jacksonville, Saturday, Aug. 22, aired nationally on CBS-TV. So look for the teams to practice Wednesday and Thursday at One Buc Palace with a day off on Friday.
Will fans be allowed in training camp? Joe doesn’t think that will happen, but hope is certainly alive.
Joe expects media to be allowed in, hopefully without a required gas mask and a pre-entry rectal exam.

Optimistic plans. Exciting to contemplate. Hoping it all works out. Even games with minimal fans are better than no games. Do it!

Sorry for your loss!
I know you’re going to miss those pre entry rectal exams.
Then I started going all Stephen Wright…can you have a rectal exam without entry?

Here’s what we know — these are scientific facts…
The transmission rate of the plague drops to statically 0% when the temps are above 85 degrees with at least 30% humidity. The transmission rate drops off substantially once the temps hit above 70. But on a hot, Florida afternoon when it’s 90 degrees and 70% humidity, the plague literally does not transmit in those conditions.
We know the plague is killed quickly by UV – the sun literally kills the virus on surfaces in under a minute in the FL afternoon summer sun.
Finally, we know that vitamin D is the best way fight the plague. So literally sitting in the stands, if it’s in the sun, on a hot Florida summer afternoon, is literally one of the best places you can be as it stimulates the production of vitamin D.
All of this means that if the NFL ignores the media driven fake news hype and just sticks literally to the known facts, there is absolutely no reason not to have open training camps. I would say they should have some spacing between people who did not arrive together, but I’d say that in any case.
Additionally, the final piece of the puzzle, those models that say everyone is going to die, also show the plague mostly going away by June – much like other respiratory issues like the flu. All data so far seems to back up the idea that this will mostly disappear in the summer. It can still be spread via direct person to person contact and indoors, but outdoors? They literally should be encouraging people to go out and watch events like this, just wash your dirty hands after going to the bathroom.

Why did I still get moderated, I went out of my way not to say the C-word or the V-word… Now can you not say the P-word either? I don’t get this moderation system at all.

You may have wondered if the new coronavirus would go away as the summer weather warms and gets more humid. But scientists recently looked at the few small studies on the subject and found there isn’t enough evidence to know if this is true.
Even when scientists study real-world examples, the evidence is unclear. Though some viral illnesses seem to slow in the summer months, this isn’t always the case. In countries such as Australia and Iran, COVID-19 has spread very quickly despite warm and humid weather.

White House paging Dr. Munch!!! Please report to the “Alternative Facts” Czar, Kelly Ann Conway. Your next assignment is ready. We are ready to test drive our new program, “Give Death a Chance!”
It is just amazing how people will come on this site and spout just obviously unproven factoids. “plague literally does not transmit in those conditions.”
If this were known to be true other than the W.H.’s wet dream it would be screamed out from every TV, radio, and newspaper in the world. Seen it lately on CNN or the Times? Oh, I forgot that’s fake news.
Gotta’ check with Dr. Munch.
BTW, how is that South Dakota OxcyQ test going. That’s for sure a cure- -why isn’t it being publicized???
