Plenty Of Great Seats & Cheap Seats Available
April 1st, 2020Remember last month’s national news of Bucs fans waiting in virtual Ticketmaster lines, many thousands deep, for a chance to shop for and purchase Buccaneers season tickets?
Well, they weren’t all slapping down credit cards to score seats at the Den of Depression. (The moniker ends when the Bucs finally win five home games in a season, a feat not accomplished since 2008.)
A quick look at available Bucs season tickets reveals loads of them in a large majority sections, including the cheap seats.
Of course, Joe understands if fans prefer to see the pandemic end before paying good money to sit in front of a screaming, foaming-at-the-mouth, sputum-spraying dude who may or may not be infected with the coronavirus.
It’s cheaper to buy a Tom Brady jersey, order a tray of Hooters wings to take home and watch everything in 4K brilliance with a variety of Big Storm beer.
Yeah, the NFL plans on playing all games in front of full stadiums.
It’s a glorious thought, but Joe’s thinking that however this worldwide mess shakes out, Bucs ticket sales aren’t going to get the 2020 Brady bump Team Glazer envisioned three weeks ago.
April 1st, 2020 at 3:15 pm
ESPECIALLY with the cheap arss GLAZIERS RAISING ticket prices in these TERRIBLE TIMES!
April 1st, 2020 at 3:15 pm
Man, how times have changed. That photo is depressing.
The Bucs site has the ’02 championship game up for viewing. It wasn’t in a packed house at RJS, but just as good watching a packed Vet go from delirious on the opening drive to dead silent at the end. Those were the days…
April 1st, 2020 at 3:21 pm
Had it not been for this pandemic virus the line at RayJay would extend all the way out to Dale Mabry
April 1st, 2020 at 3:22 pm
I bought my tickets the day we signed #12 ! BUT to expect people to run out and buy tickets for a season that might not be played because of the worst pandemic sense 1918 IS FRANKLY ASSANINE
April 1st, 2020 at 3:29 pm
That section in the photo is a terrible place to watch the games once you get past row D. I’d rather go once a season and sit in prime seats for the same price as a full season. In fact, that’s what I usually do when I pay for a game. One or two in better seats than an entire season in the nosebleeds.
April 1st, 2020 at 3:33 pm
I suspect that even if there is some lingering virus problems that the season will still be played……with or without a live audience…..
The TV rights are simply too much to warrant cancellation of games……
I think they will play…..
April 1st, 2020 at 3:37 pm
ou812 gets it! Who in they right mind would plunk down $$$ for season tickets that probably won’t happen. See any vaccines yet? Willing to sit next to some unknown clown drunk for 8 games? Respected medical speculation is NOT that it will “magically” go away in the summer, but will only slow down and come back, possibly, even stronger next winter, similar to the Spanish flue. For a depressive search look at that death rate 102 years ago.
And, for those that foresee watch TB sling it this fall in front of empty stadium’s what happens if Marpet or Evens or ROJO gets it? The whole team will go into quarantine along with the opponents from the last two weeks. Think the NFL season will work that way?
Let’s root for the draft and signing FA for 2021 season and hope that happens. It won’t happen in 2020.
April 1st, 2020 at 3:39 pm
Kinda sucks for guys like me that gotta work a few hours many Sundays. Hoping just to get a few single game tickets at this point. And I will be paying somebody to do some work for me on Bucs gameday if necessary.
So go head bandwagoners. Push guys like me out the way. As much as I despise part of your existence I realize your presence is overall a good thing for the fanbase. I will embrace you. Hahaha………One way or another Ill find my way there and cheer with y’all.
GO BUCS!!!!
April 1st, 2020 at 3:50 pm
Are the seats 6ft. apart?
April 1st, 2020 at 3:58 pm
Each ticket sold comes with an official Buccaneers themed biohazard suit.
April 1st, 2020 at 3:58 pm
if you have paid for season tickets and the season isn’t played, or played without fans in the stadium, what happens to your loot…do you get a refund or do they hold it over until next season…???
i wonder what happens ?
April 1st, 2020 at 4:01 pm
JimmyJack don’t worry, there will be plenty of Massholes who realize it’s too wicked haht to be in the stadium and would rather hit the packie and sip on some chowda at home.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:02 pm
We bought our seasons tickets the day we signed #12 !
April 1st, 2020 at 4:04 pm
Jmark BOOM!
I’m as depressed as anybody over the potential loss of our season. But it’s small potatoes compared to what is going to happen to our friends and neighbors.
They are worried about having enough income to survive…disposable income is not even a consideration….yet. Know any restaurant owners? Servers? People who work in hotels and gyms? The list goes on and on and on.
Let’s hope we can get a grip on this before the suffering gets any worse.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:04 pm
Well done! 🙂
April 1st, 2020 at 4:07 pm
adam as someone who has already paid I can’ tell now matter what happens I never expect to see that money again.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:08 pm
It was a hot day…

LOL…G’Boyz foiled again…
April 1st, 2020 at 4:24 pm
hahaha ..body condoms
April 1st, 2020 at 4:25 pm
We shall see. As lifetime Buc fan I am still holding out hope for a season. While I go to a number of games each year, this year I bought season tickets because my 14yo son is now really into football. Was looking to spending quality time with him this fall. Going to compound it if we really will have to wait to see Brady play here at the young age of 44. Who knows, maybe the Bucs are just a cursed franchise.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:29 pm
OMGAWD they raised ticket prices??????
No shyte Sherlock they signed Tom Brady for 50 million….
What ….you wanted lower prices?
April 1st, 2020 at 4:34 pm
SPBF
“Know any restaurant owners? Servers?”
My family owned a restaurant in Brandon for 25 years, and I have stayed in the industry here in North Georgia so I know first hand. That’s why I’m sitting at home on JBF all day 🙂
April 1st, 2020 at 4:36 pm
Oh and St Pete
BTW, I answered your cup o’ Joe question
April 1st, 2020 at 4:41 pm
Joe
Are the seats 6ft. apart?
Well done! 🙂
Actually in that pic it looks like Buc Fans have been practicing social distancing at RayJay for quite some time 🙂
April 1st, 2020 at 4:43 pm
I am quite convinced there will be games…..if for nothing else but TV……it will be important entertainment and much needed for everyone….
April 1st, 2020 at 4:45 pm
Give me some shade and I’ll happily go.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:47 pm
Long time season ticket holder. Club and Suite variety. My rep, will just call him Chris, sucks. Basically a traffice cop for Bucs propaganda and works a complete moron that is the customer relations VP. That said, sent a note of dissatisfaction to very high executive on the ineptitude of either the owners or himself, in raising prices. Yeah, doesn’t count for us now, but does next year. They finally have a chance to hit it out of the park with the Brady news. Instead, during COVID 19 and people losing their jobs and some…MUCH WORSE…the Bucs kick the fans in the junk and wave the middle finger.
Thanks Glazers, Brian Ford, and Jason Licht. What will you do to fans next? Should I ask.
Lifelong Bucs fan, but these guys make it hard to support them. My seat relocation is now…I can get even BETTER and MORE EXPENSIVE seats, and per the email, pay the difference to include INCREASED prices for this year.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:48 pm
ndog –
they don’t just take your money…
they either issue a refund or it counts towards the following season as a credit, when you can start to attend games again…
get real guy – they don’t just gank your cash
April 1st, 2020 at 4:49 pm
^^^^^^Flipping Big Birds at the Bucs Senior Management and Customer Relations^^^^^ But Tipping my hat to Tom Brady coming aboard.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:50 pm
The Bucs are the only team in the NFL where we can maintain social distancing but not actually change any protocols. Groups of 10 or less, feet, etc.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:55 pm
Last year, they didn’t even sell the top several (like 10 or13) rows because the stands were so empty. Oh, how I long for crowds like the Chargers (small stadium but at least filled to capacity) and Jags have. Bengals, eat your heart out! Our Bucs front office isn’t as lousy as yours, but they are trying very hard to be!
April 1st, 2020 at 4:57 pm
Not a good article. There is nothing inaccurate in this article. –Joe The Stadium Club seats have gone from wide open to totally sold out on the west side and little left in the blazing sun (east). They’ve sold tons of expensive tickets (I got mine) in 3 weeks.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:59 pm
Wesley, last I checked, for $2500 and up per person, you can get some shade. You will need it, because unlike other NFL clubs, you are not allowed to bring your own bottled water into the stadium because that’s going to deny the Glazers money. Plus, maybe you’re bringing in booze that just looks like water. Not to mention for fans that have heat stress issues, the local paramedics are there ready to spring into action and send you a bill.
April 1st, 2020 at 4:59 pm
hethrew:
actually get this…
there were 2 ticket price increases this year…
a small initial increase on most seats…pretty minimal…
then after the brady signing, a big price jump…
so it was really a double whammy…
a double price increase is pretty wild…
the first one they didn’t even announce, so i asked my rep and they said “yeah there was a small increase” (because i noticed my tix prices had initially jumped minimally)…
if you’re a previous season tix holder, this season you avoid that 2nd big increase…but prepare to pay it next year…
April 1st, 2020 at 5:17 pm
after the brady signing i had heard there was now a new season tix waiting list of approx 7,000and increasing …
is or was that all just a lie?…
i had heard and read this in many many places…
it seems to not be true as many many tix are currently available…
#EyeThoughWeWereJumpingOnTheGravyTrain
April 1st, 2020 at 5:18 pm
Adam
In the glory days they said we had 100,000 people waiting
April 1st, 2020 at 5:23 pm
I thought Jameis was the reason ppl didn’t come
Now we are blaming Corona? Geez
Then I thought tix were sold out?
April 1st, 2020 at 5:30 pm
In the very early days of the Bucs, I went to all of the games. Ticket were dirt cheap then. Now, I cannot even afford the parking. So..I just watch’em on my 65 in Sony. Better than in person in the nosebleed section which is where I would have to sit. And..I don’t have to worry about a DUI.
April 1st, 2020 at 5:31 pm
I bought mine a month and a half before Brady signed, and I live in NC, I had a feeling all along that TB12 was coming to TB
April 1st, 2020 at 5:32 pm
Wouldn’t it be better to…
Lay in the truck bed of your new Bill Currie Ford F-150 while projecting the games on the side of your garage, while eating Hooters wings & chasing them down with Big Storm beer? 🙂
April 1st, 2020 at 5:33 pm
If you checked the day Brady signed there were lots more seats available. A 7000 waiting list likely got burned through quickly. Unlikely everyone purchases.
Still plenty of seats but not as many as 2 weeks ago.
I would buy them but the price increase is annoying on so many levels. Also I need 4 so just anywhere won’t do.
If Jameis were still the QB there would be a whole lot more seat choices
April 1st, 2020 at 5:35 pm
Dear LaMarcus,
When does your “Jameis Grief Tour” come to an end? Today is Day #16 since Brady committed to the Bucs and Jameis was let walk the plank.
Will you still be here posting all year? You know, ever negative thing you can and/or turning everything into some sort of things-would-be-better-if-Jameis-were-still-here reasoning?
On behalf of all the readers here at JBF, we’re just trying to get a read on your JAMEIS MOURNING and how long your negative posts are going to last.
Thanks for your cooperation.
April 1st, 2020 at 5:43 pm
Drive up the prices again bandwagoners!!! Funny how all the people who crave national attention aren’t the ones buying tickets. Buy em up, you got your national publicity!!
April 1st, 2020 at 5:52 pm
let’s all intermingle nicely please… 🙂
April 1st, 2020 at 6:05 pm
Well Adam, think they went from 45K in “members” to half of that over 10 years, and most of that was in the last three. After the contracts expired between 2010 and 2013, they left, and then it accelerated. I was on the waiting list for years to get lower bowl seats to add to my premium seats. Now, you can sign right up for seats inside the 40s, not problem. Combination of losing, prices, kneeldowns, and Winston. ‘Tis true. Their ticketing VP sucks as does their marketing.
April 1st, 2020 at 6:06 pm
@Joe
“…a screaming, foaming-at-the-mouth, sputum-spraying dude who may or may not be infected with the coronavirus”
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You forgot “inebriated.”
April 1st, 2020 at 6:08 pm
For XFL and other events, like concerts, Glazers get parking and concessions monies. Yes, they did put $175 million of their own money to renovate the stadium, and it is a beauty. The Glazers also get all the proceeds from millions of naming rights for “Raymond James.” To be fair, the Glazers are just business people, and got a great deal. The elected officials here gave away the store. TSA, for or stadium, get NONE of that.
Go Brady!
Bucs, you can come too. I guess.
April 1st, 2020 at 6:13 pm
Of course, when I raised holy he11 about the price increases, and cited all the stuff above, and suggested the owners show some compassion and empathy, from a chief executive, I got a hearty thank you for my continued support. Not even a mention of the plight we are going through as a local community, nation, and world. Ah, to be a billionaire. Should I say, to be a billionaire like the Glazers and top execs. No conscience, no worries. Maybe I’m wrong, but THAT is the impression.
Those selling TP for $5 a role and hand sanitizer for $30 a bottle two rungs higher than the Bucs owners, who are a couple rungs higher still than Epstein…in my book. My opinion. Sad to say.
April 1st, 2020 at 6:20 pm
To be fair and sensitive many the virus was hitting right at the time of announcement. Joe many people don’t know where their paycheck will arrive how do you expect them to buy tickets and not immediate needs. Maybe after this has passed and economy is settled you will see the book in box office
April 1st, 2020 at 6:30 pm

they don’t just take your money…
they either issue a refund or it counts towards the following season as a credit, when you can start to attend games again…
Adam why does everything end in a fight with you. The Bucs will not cut a check unless football is cancelled forever. They will roll it till next year just like they do playoff tickets you might bye before they clinch and might end up playing on the road. Bro it has happened to me again FACTS.
April 1st, 2020 at 6:31 pm
Lamarcus claimed to do something in the medical field a few days ago
Yah right.
Nice comment man
And acts like corona virus has no bearing on People having jobs to spend money on tickets …or people who arent even worried about football when they have a sick or dying family member …and some think there may be no season at all
But yah…people arent excited about Brady being here is the real reason tickets arent selling
Don’t believe one word that comes from this man’s mouth
Pretty classy
Ladies and gentleman…i give you lamarcus
April 1st, 2020 at 6:32 pm
Clown And show
April 1st, 2020 at 6:37 pm
Spending money on tickets right now is just plain irresponsible. Love football but not knowing what lies ahead in this pandemic/economy means not laying down cash for people who will not feel any financial hit at all. Just my 2 cents.
April 1st, 2020 at 6:40 pm
My tickets didn’t go up a penny I was told they didn’t go for Renewals, but did for new purchases. Seems reasonable, loyal fans get a break. Not all that sure if that was the real reason, but I bought before Brady signed.
April 1st, 2020 at 6:48 pm
JMark
Yeah caught you answer on the morning cup.
Also best of luck to you and your brethren. Here in St. Pete many are on websites pointing out restaurants that either deliver or serve carry out.
Some…like my neighborhood place…Stone Soup are mom and pop and have become our friends and neighbors. I’m happy to say that folks are highly motivated to help these people out. Wife and I try and eat Stone Soup and Italia Mia another nearby mom and pop as frequently as possible.
April 1st, 2020 at 6:52 pm
MLB and NFL will not play a game in 2020.
April 1st, 2020 at 7:13 pm
Best place to watch a game is at The Brickhouse. Attractive female servers who are friendly, a great selection of beer and food at fair prices. F the stadium experience and F the Glazers! Don’t waste your time or money trying to convince yourself that waiting in traffic, walking to the stadium in the heat and waiting in lines at the stadium for the restroom and food is a “good time.” It’s a pathetic experience. 99% of you on this site, are pathetic as well. Toodles for now. Peace and love.
April 1st, 2020 at 7:34 pm
1 word. Pandemic.
April 1st, 2020 at 7:49 pm
If this gets bad as it could… TB12 will retire before playing a game as a Buc.
(As he’ll realize at 42 turning 43, time with Gisele & the kids is much more important than football & $50M in guarantees.)
April 1st, 2020 at 8:10 pm
Get dibs on free tickets every year…. to hot and I refuse to spend $100 on bottle water so my kids do not die from a heat stroke. Understand the beer prices if you want to drink but getting ass raped for water when it is 110 in the stadium is crazy.
April 1st, 2020 at 9:01 pm
ok from everything i read here so far…
the pandemic is really starting to take its toll on people and their tudes…
yall need to chill out like johnny mcdoubt
April 1st, 2020 at 9:26 pm
Not a list. There were thousands of people in line online to look at tickets and maybe buy them.
April 1st, 2020 at 9:48 pm
Ndog, You don’t buy playoff tickets before they clinch. They ask you to click to agree to buy them beforehand so you get a shot at your seats…when they DO actually clinch. So they only charge your card WHEN they clinch. No playoff game, no charge.
Have you actually owned season tickets before, of were you mooching off of Jameis’s grandma?
April 1st, 2020 at 9:53 pm
That online waiting list story was a completely made up marketing ploy from either Ticketmaster or the Bucs themselves. The night all that crap started I went to the Buccaneers app and renewed my season tickets with no wait.
April 1st, 2020 at 9:53 pm
Amazon Fresh and Publix Delivery have been Godsends. I’m healthy but have a senior citizen to protect so need to minimize carrying this stuff. Pretty convenient. I see this whole grocery delivery industry sticking around and growing after this mess clears. But won’t be able to tip much since the Glazers got that 15% BradyTax.
April 1st, 2020 at 9:55 pm
The pipe to buy tix on ticketmaster is not that robust. You can go and hunt and peck and select and deselect and eat up bandwith…and not purchase a thing. I see it during every worthless Bucs member presale…so may look like a lot but doesn’t translate to sales.
April 1st, 2020 at 10:26 pm

Have faith in the medical professionals. I do believe it will be under control and yes there be a season
Dont call me out like that and know the facts.

God Hewtrew 30……Guess what? Nobody cares about your complaints. There thousands of bandwagoners fittin to push your whining ass out the way just to gobble up your tickets. So go complain in a corner while somebody takes your seat and enjoys themselfs……Better yet write them a letter about and and wait for the reply.
Nobody likes a crybaby dude. And the Glazers will be counting money with or without you. Trust me they don’t care and no ody here probably does either.
April 1st, 2020 at 11:38 pm
Prices have been at the low level for years.
April 1st, 2020 at 11:57 pm
Glazer’s have put a lot of money into this stadium. Make the Hard Rock Stadium shades the Dolphins have and this Buc fan will likely be at multiple games in the 300 level.
April 2nd, 2020 at 1:30 am
I’m going to wait and travel to New England next year and wear bucs Brady jersey.
April 2nd, 2020 at 4:52 am
Wait you telling me all the excuse mongers who wasn’t going to the games because of a certain player has not gone out and renewed or brought tickets, nah this has to be “fake news” lol!
April 2nd, 2020 at 6:46 am
Lamarcus
I do have faith in medical professionals… and i will continue to call you out for lousy comments like this which is what you wrote.
“
I thought Jameis was the reason ppl didn’t come
Now we are blaming Corona? Geez
Then I thought tix were sold out?”
———
You look horrible as always. Like i said. Classy comments. And right. You are in the medical field and would say something like this 😂
April 2nd, 2020 at 8:08 am
I agree with D-Rome waaaaaay above. I typically go to 1 or 2 games a year and will spend the extra $$$ for better seats. Heck, it takes that long to save up for it anyways! Between parking, tickets, and copious amounts of adult beverages (allegedly!), it’s quite the expense.
The recipe for “butts in the seats” has always been tried and true…….WIN!!!
April 2nd, 2020 at 10:12 am
if you go to a bucs game and sit in the nosebleeds You are a bigger fool than you thought.
April 2nd, 2020 at 12:53 pm
JimmyJack, go eat it. You are the guy who doesn’t go to but the occasional game and you steal better seats because you are too cheap to buy them outright. So that probably explains why you just want to keep your little thivery deal going. Did you speak for anyone but yourself. YOU don’t care about my thoughts, but there was quite the conversation going on. Who made you king of content here? Azzwipe.
April 2nd, 2020 at 8:34 pm
That picture is the away side and the cheapest seats directly into the sun
