Mark Dominik Talks Bucs Moves If They Don’t Get The Tackle They Want In Round 1

April 7th, 2020

“Mark, stop talking about us. And I’m not giving you back the Doug Martin bobblehead you left behind.”

Former Bucs rock star general manager Mark Dominik had a rough five-season run in Tampa that felt a lot more soothing after experiencing the five Bucs years following his exit.

Man, without question, Joe has aged 20 years in the last 10.

Dominik, however, is a savvy football man who oozes personnel knowledge during his hosting gigs on SiriusXM NFL Radio, where he shows why Joe started calling him “rock star.” When Dominik became an in-demand national radio guest in 2010, it was clear to Joe that Dominik would have a long career (if he wanted it) in NFL media.

A Bucs fans called Dominik yesterday to talk about the draft.

Before asking Dominik to explain how he identified Lavonte David and traded up for him, the fan requested Dominik’s move for the Bucs if the top-4 offensive tackles in the 2020 draft are off the board at No. 14 overall.

“If the offensive tackle spot’s just not hitting [at No. 14], as much as you may not want to take a running back, I just think I would be starting to consider a running back still,” Dominik said. “Yeah, ideally, maybe I could trade back to like No. 18 to No. 20 to No. 22, somewhere in there and pick up a good second-round pick or a little bit more ammunition. But I think you’re right, I think that’s what they’re probably targeting, [a right tackle].

“I do still think they could go and put, as much as they put a lot of picks in that secondary, a lot of picks in that secondary, I wouldn’t be shocked if they put one more in there, or another big man inside right next to Vita Vea. Those would be the three spots outside of the tackle spot, which I think is what most of us are thinking.”

Joe has talked and written about the Bucs going running back in Round 1. If you really are going all-in and want a balanced but and more explosive offense, one that is more playoff-ready, then a home run hitter running back would the the ultimate play. As Dominik said, that guy could be available via a savvy trade down from No. 14.

A first-round pick in the secondary? Well, regular readers know one Joe at JoeBucsFan.com world headquarters would applaud that potential move. (Can you name a cornerback Todd Bowles drafted and/or developed with the Jets? He did a lot better with safeties in four years there.)

As for going defensive tackle, Joe is all for that.

Dominik added that an additional Bucs need is a “fastball” pass rusher but that guy will be hard to find for them in this draft.

This should be fun. I strongly believe we have the a cohesive, well communicated plan for this team. I also believe that was sorely lacking in the Lichts often criticized previous drafts. There was no coaching leadership to work with on a plan.

I’m fine with all those scenarios as well Joe.

    In BA I Trust!

  2. LordCornelius Says:

“Man, without question, Joe has aged 20 years in the last 10”

I bet man. Thank you guys for doing this!

All of us are able to avoid Bucs news and kind of turn it off at various points when the team rips our hearts out, but you guys have to be dedicated no matter what.

You guys deserve to cover a winner as badly as the fans deserve one at this point.

We are the most losing franchise in all professional sports lol. That’s such a sad fact. We needed a Tom Brady savior right now. Here’s to hoping the season is played in some fashion for the love of god.

    GO BUCS!

  3. PUGS&BUCS Says:

    Mark Dominik extended Michael Clayton.

His opinion should be summarily ignored with extreme derision.

  4. fernando diaz Says:

  5. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

Dominick and Licht should both have their own Sirius radio show and stay far away from running NFL franchises….Lucky the glazers lucked into both arians and tom brady for the next 2 years

  6. K2 Says:

I still believe that the front office tries to give coaches the players they want. Good coaches have an eye for talent and how they would use a player. Last years draft was solid. I will never like selecting kickers…but most people see those picks as lost opportunity.

  7. Stanglassman Says:

I don’t think they’d go Rb in round 1 unless they were to trade back into the mid to late 20s. I think it will be OT or DL in the 1st round.

Aren’t the Bucs unveiling the new uniforms today? Any idea what time?

  8. El Buco Realisto Says:

From this article and the all decade team selections and the article about brady coming to the top losing franchise In all sports (except the Washington Generals) and that in a couple of years that IRA and some others sports writers will be pushing for she-mc93 to be in the stupid ring of honor!!!

Well it is time that everyone to embrace “reality”!!!!!!!!!!!! Starting now, we need to implement the “wall of shame”!!!!!!!!!!!! This past decade has been a total futility!!!!!!!!! And it’s time to start Inducting those responsible!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Incompetent loser lovie, talk show Dominick, licht bulb, coach ray, she-mc93, sgt win-slow, asj-Jack wagon, sabby the goat, jay-miss, and ole stale biscuit, just to start the list!!!!!!!!!!!! If this team is the worst, then it shall be “recognized”!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Craig Says:

The top tackles will be gone by 14, but O-line is Licht’s strong point. He can dig up talent that is under the radar.

Best to trade down in 1 and get an extra second round pick. Take one of the top four safeties in one.

A RB and RT in 2. QB(Gordon, Morgan, Stanley, or Davidson) in 3

Another O-line guy in 4 and an IDL with compensatory pick.

5 and 6 go to the best athlete on the board

  10. El Buco Realisto Says:

    @joe

The “real” fans demand a 24 hour poll, on who has done the most damage to this franchise!!!!!!! Incompetent lovie or Talk show dominik!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The so called “winner” will have the dubious honor of being the first into the Bucs Wall of Shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The “real” fans will be heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Jean Lafitte Says:

exactly what most fans on this board have been saying. If no tackles available with #14 find a way to trade back.

  12. Defense Rules Says:

@Sport … “I strongly believe we have the a cohesive, well communicated plan for this team.” I was thinking exactly the same thing just a couple days ago Sport (after reading something in which one of the Glazer boys had noted that very thing when they hired BA).

Unfortunately this new coaching staff had very few $$$ to work with last year, and that’s still pretty much true this year also (although we’re in better shape than we were). BA had no choice but to keep Jameis as our QB (we didn’t have the money for any other options). Still, this coaching staff produced a very dynamic offense that put a LOT of points on the board (admittedly for both teams). And I credit Todd Bowles for what he created in our defense (lots of promise for 2020). Not totally enamored with our Special Teams play, but my expectation is that they’ll also improve this year.

Still a long way to go to create a Super Bowl contender, but we’ve made excellent progress to this point IMO. Resigning Shaq, JPP & Suh was huge. Fill in the holes via the draft & add a few veteran pickups in free agency and we SHOULD be able to make a run for it this year and/or next year. We can worry about what comes after that later. Go for the gusto!

  13. Marine Buc Says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if we drafted a wide receiver in the first round (if all the OTs are gone). We need a WR3 plus Chris Godwin is going to want $13-$15 million next season.

Plus I don’t think Watson or Miller are good enough. Miller has speed but is injury prone. Watson is meh…

  14. LordCornelius Says:

” as much as you may not want to take a running back, I just think I would be starting to consider a running back still,”

Also why this guy was a horrible GM lol

Just rounds 1 -2 bad decisions that we still feel today to a degree from his 4 drafts:

1 Adrian Clayborn over Cam Jordan
2 DaQuon bowers over Michael Bennet / (or Rodney Hudson/Justin Houston who went right after him in that draft)
3 Mark Barron over Luke Keuchly / Fletcher Cox / Stephon Gillmore
    4 Drug Martin (meh)
5 waste round 1 pick on Revis – could have been a variety of useful starters (star lotulele / sheldon richardson / ERic reid / kyle long)
6 Jonathon 4.6 Banks over Kawaan Short / Leveon Bell who right right after

Licht’s worst R1-2 blunders in his 5 years drafting

1 – ASJ – I liked the pick at the time but headcase. Variety of other starters were there (Lamarcus JOyner / Davante Adams)
2 – Winston. We’ve said enough on him.
3 – Hargreaves in R1 over Tunsil or Rankins or anyone at this point
4 – Noah Spence over Derek Henry or michael thomas or Cody Whitehair
5 – Aguayo my god – over Ngokue or whoever
6 – Either OJ Howard/Justin Evans or both? Hopefully howard rebounds. Every draft person had him as like a top 5-10 talent in the draft.
7 – MJ STewart over any other corner there

Man these guys have both sucked hard lol. Like those top 2 round picks you got to be hitting at least 50% and closer to like 75% in R1 – especially when we’re picking high like we are a lot.

Our GM’s have been batting below average. I think our roster is finally not bad, but it took way more draft picks and FAs and years in general than it ever should have. You can flip a team in 3 years if you are doing better than average in the draft consistently.

  15. teacherman777 Says:

    Trade back! Twice!

I want 1 late 1st rounder and 3 second rounders.

    1st round: RT
2nd round: RG (after Brady sees Cappa’s film!
    2nd round: DT
    2nd round: DE/OLB

    3rd round: Big RB

    Trade 4th, 5th for 3rd rounder.

    3rd round: DE

    Trade 6th and 7th for 5th rounder

    5th round: S

  17. Old Sombrero Says:

What about blocking skills for the RB? Seems we have a backfield now that’s not great in pass protection. What about slot receiver? Brady thrived with that style receiver. Is Godwin what we want in slot?

I am in total agreement with this priority order but if the top 4 OTs are off the board and a trade down exists, I would prefer that move.

  19. El Buco Realisto Says:

    @defense rules

If the “plan” was to place blame anywhere they could and be reactionary, then all is going to “plan” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First it was the coaches fault, then they drafted a whole new secondary, then they had all the answers, then they were going to quick fix the so called franchise qb, then they blamed their own wide open offense for being wreckless, and so on!!!!!!!!!!!! The “real” fans have only seen player replacement, and not much coaching up, with sloppy play!!!!!!!!! Did the plan entail replacing all but 4 or 5 starters from opening day just two short years ago????????? They better have a “plan” and it better work!!!!!!!!!!!!! The schedule is not the soft one it was last year, and odds are against playing all those backups qb’s that they supposedly “turned the corner ” on!!!!!!!!!!!!

The truth will always be revealed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It just takes the sheep longer to figure out!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!

  20. PSL Bob Says:

Regardless of the pick, my recommendation to Licht is to hit the gym and start with plank exercises. That gut is ridiculous. Come on man! You represent a sports franchise and have a world-class gym, as well as trainers, at your disposal. Get with the program! Seriously!

El buco you missed VH3 and Roberto Misso and that entire draft class from jason lichtweight…lovie definitely needs to be in the wall of shame but do not forget richard williamson, leeman bennett, high culverhouse; this loser wall of shame would need several rows of port o poties outside ray jay to put their faces on

  23. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Wonder how many teams will lose picks because of Internet outages…

  24. Joe in Michigan Says:

    Things I WOULD NOT do:

    1) Do anything Mark Dominik says to do. He probably (and maybe only subconsciously) would like to see our current GM fail.
    2) Take a RB in the 1st Round. There’ll be plenty of good RB’s there in the 2nd Round.
    3) Select Ashtyn Davis. They say he’s fast and athletic, but doesn’t like to tackle. Tackling is a job requirement. Charlie Campbell went so far as to compare him to Chris Conte. I’ve seen too much Safety play like that in my lifetime, I don’t want to see any more.

These, of course, are only my opinions and I could be wrong.

  25. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I have to admit, El Buco Realisto has a point about the lack of player development. That may be changed now, but in recent years it wasn’t. Heck, even Gruden was horrible at player development.

The Dungy staff excelled at it though.

  26. El Buco Realisto Says:

    @joe in Michigan

At worst, your opinion, has as much clout as talk show dominik!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Every year Joe says getting a first round RB is the smart move if you want to make the playoffs.

Is he right? It didn’t work when we took Martin.

At this point, I think picking the right players, no matter the position, is the best thing, but if you are not a team that develops talent instead of placing demands on it, you’ll see a lot of unrealized potential.

  28. Robert Says:

while what he says makes sense, it makes no sense to announce their draft strategy to the other 31 NFL teams. I think you might want to read that list backwards. S, DL, RB

I think a QB would be before RB as well.

    smokescreen.

  29. gofortheface30 Says:

Fernando – agreed. Although TECHNICALLY the BPA at that spot would be Henry Ruggs or Jeudy if theyre sitting there. I think all 4 OT’s will be drafted by 14. I think Derek Brown and Kinlaw will be drafted. Once you eliminate receiver who is the BPA at that point? PRobably De’Andre Swift or Jonathan Taylor (really whoever the Bucs prefer at RB.) IF we trade back to 20 can we be so sure that one of those two will still be there? IDK, its fun to think about. This will actually be a fun draft as the Bucs are in theory – looking to make a deep run

  30. Formerly Tampa 2 Says:

After Licht’s last season moves, along with Arians, I believe they will pick
the best players for the team. Especially when it comes to protecting Brady.

  31. stpetebucsfan Says:

    MarineBuc

Almost always agree with you but I do not want a WR in any round before the 4th. First there are too many available…speed will be cheap this year in terms of draft capital needed…and again as I hammer…there is only ONE football! ME13 and CG gotta eat. OJ and Brate gotta eat. And if we get a back who is a good receiver he’s gotta eat. Not enough groceries left over for any new WR.

And JJ made an excellent point…any WR selected in the first round is going to expect to be a star…he would DEFINITELY expect to get fed and in truth why waste a first round pick if you’re not going to feed him?

I think this draft shapes up great for us. If one of the big 4 or 5 OT’s do not slip…between 4 OT’s and 2 or three QB’s and edge rushers like Chase Young we’re going to be able to take Kinlaw…who will solidify the depth on our DL and be the heir apparent when Suh calls it quits. Imagine Kinlaw and VV side by side for the next decade? Awesome baby!

We take the BPA RB in the 2nd…fill need in 3rd..and in the 4th with that extra pick we grab Dillon. Obviously a safety fits in there somewhere.

If Covid doesn’t eff us we’re ready to roll!

  32. Tbbucs3 Says:

    LordCornelius

Leave it to a true Jameis hater to put him in the same category as ASJ, MJ Stweart, VH3 and Noah Spence.

Jameis was far from a draft bust and that year with the 1st pick any GM in our situation wouldve picked Jameis or Mariota and you think MM wouldve been the better option? HA!

  33. Marine Buc Says:

    @ SPBF

My first priority would be a starting Right Tackle. But if the best four are gone I wouldn’t be surprised to see a WR as the BPA choice.

Ideally we will go RT in round 1. RB in round 2. Safety or WR in round three. Interior offensive and defensive line in rounds 4-6.

But you never know how things will fall come draft day. Also keep in mind Chris Godwin is due a huge pay raise. We might not be able to keep him if he wants $14-$15 million per season.

  34. Joe in Michigan Says:

El Bucco Faker: This coming from someone who signed in under other people’s handles? Hahahaha

You could be right tho, I could be wrong.

  35. El Buco Realisto Says:

    @stpetebucsfan

Normally, I would agree with you about O-line and if Run on O-line happens then D-line!!!!!!!!! But maybe, just maybe, that a QB with quick decision making and quick throws, a elite WR matching up against other teams 3rd and 4th best corner, could make the most impact!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that match up nightmare for teams could have more impact on games than an heir apparent to Suh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is something to seriously consider!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  36. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

Dude… K’Lavon chaisson or however it’s spelled… And Jonathan Taylor…. Those will be first and second picks… I don’t know how many times arians has said he doesn’t take offensive lineman in the first round!! He has been up front and honest about everything else why does EVERYONE just ignore that he has straight up said he won’t take an o-lineman!!!! So there’s your bullet pass rusher and what I think will become one of the better running backs in the league… Although I’m not good at judging running backs really!! But K’Lavon is well worth that first round pick!! Rotate him and jpp and he’ll eventually replace him!!! I got on here a long time ago right after he got drafted and said Godwin will be better than Evans one day I also said Barret will get 15 sacks (wrong but in a good way) I also got on here MULTIPLE times and argued with him about Dean when Joe was screaming bench bench (because her thinks with emotion) I kept saying Dean is the best DB they have on the team…. For real man I’m not good at a lot of things but I can pick college talent I gave a really good record with it and I’m taking you K’Lavon is the guy you want and Taylor (I think) the running back you want

  37. El Buco Realisto Says:

@ El Buco You missed calling out who should be #1 on your wall of shame. That would be the Glazer Boys, who after their Dad hired the best coach in the NFL that won the SuperBowl for Tampa, immediately decided to take away all the Bucs cash to buy the ManU soccer teamin the UK. And then, in their great wisdom (joke), they fired that Coach they wouldn’t let buy any players for going 9 -7 three years in a row with old has been players. Then they proceeded to hire all the rookie and wanna-be coaches and the Bucs became the Yuks for sure.

  41. stpetebucsfan Says:

    Marine

Well I certainly take your point if Buc management thinks they going to score a player with CG14’s ability. I remain skeptical about that ever happening. But the again I’m prejudiced…CG14 is my favorite player,

  42. SirClicksAlot Says:

One of Licht’s greatest strengths over the years has been his penchant to trade back and still grab the team’s top target. I don’t expect this year to be any different if one of those top tier players isn’t there at 14.

  43. Cobraboy Says:

I spent some time watching Jedrick Wills. Holy Smokes, does that kid have some feet & solid technique!

He is the one I want at #14, I’m just not sure he’ll be there.

He reminds me a lot of how Paul Gruber could move his feet and set his hips and shoulders at different angles.

  44. geno711 Says:

Sorry Joe you have aged so much. Have you thought about hair plugs, collagen, hair dye or just eating better with more exercise?

    Just having fun.

  45. LordCornelius Says:

I supported the Jameis pick but i was wrong. I never liked Mariota for the NFL.

LUVMYBUCS wanted us to trade back that year. In general he’s basically had a way better view of what the team should be doing than anyone else IMO, but the fans here in general have better draft opinions than Dominic/Licht. A poll on this website would have had better success making the picks.

  46. Allbuccedup Says:

Sign Jason Peters for one year. Then you have some flexibility if there are no big four OTs at 14. Then trade down to get more picks then pick the best offensive tackle available with their third round pick.

  47. Marine Buc Says:

    @ SPBF

Same here. Godwin is great and probably has the better hands between him and Mike Evans.

Can you imagine if we do draft a WR like Jeudy or Lamb? Put them in the WR3 with O.J. Howard, Evans and Godwin?

    Holy schnitzels.

  48. Defense Rules Says:

@Cobraboy … “I spent some time watching Jedrick Wills. Holy Smokes, does that kid have some feet & solid technique! He is the one I want at #14, I’m just not sure he’ll be there.”

Would love to see us get Wills (being a Bama fan I’ve watched him every game last 2 years & he’d be a solid pick). Elite at run blocking as well as at pass protection. Doubtful he’ll fall to #14 however, but you never know.

Ranking the 2020 draft prospects is obviously very subjective, but Sports Illustrated has an interesting ranking in its Top-100 Board. I tend to think we’ll end up getting someone that they rank in their Top-20 …

    1 – Chase Young (Edge)
    2 – Joe Burrow (QB)
    3 – Jeffrey Okudah (CB)
    4 – Isaiah Simmons (LB)
    5 – Tua Tagovailoa (QB)
    6 – Derrick Brown (DL)
    7 – Jedrick Wills (OT)
    8 – Tristna Wirfs (OT)
    9 – Jerry Jeudy (WR)
    10 – Javon Kinlaw (DL)
    11 – CeeDee Lamb (WR)
    12 – Mekhi Becton (OT)
    13 – Henry Ruggs (WR)
    14 – CJ Henderson (CB)
    15 – Andrew Thomas (OT)
    16 – K’Lavon Chaisson (Edge)
    17 – Justin Herbert (QB)
    18 – Patrick Queen (LB)
    19 – Justin Jefferson (WR)
    20 – Kenneth Murray (LB)

As I look at their list, it includes 3 QBs, 4 WRs, 4 OTs, 2 DL, 2 Edge, 3 LBs and 2 CBs. I doubt that the Bucs will take any LBs in Rnd 1, and most likely not take any CBs. But the other 15 are in play IMO, and would benefit the team. I’m not high on using this year’s Rnd 1 pick on a QB or WR because I think we have bigger NEEDS, but any of the 4 WRs could certainly see a lot of playing time. I still think we’ll be able to land one of the Top-4 OTs or Top-4 DLinemen (because some teams in front of us will take some of the QBs, WRs & LBs).

  49. Joe in Michigan Says:

El Buco Unrealisto: I’ll take Joe’s word for it, he looked into it (ie email account).

  50. Joe in Michigan Says:

Marine Buc: I’d rather take a WR than a RB with our 1st pick, if it came down to that (OT’s, DT’s gone). What’s your take on Swift from Georgia? Is he that much better than Taylor, Dobbins, CEH, and Akers?

Stpetebucsfan: What’s your take on Swift (see above)?

  51. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Joe in Mich

I would rather have Dobbins in the late first to early second over Swift with pick #14.

I like Akers too but probably a mid – late second round pick.

I also like the kid from Memphis – Taylor in round 3 or 4. Excellent receiver.

  52. Cobraboy Says:

    Defense Rules Says:

@Cobraboy … “I spent some time watching Jedrick Wills. Holy Smokes, does that kid have some feet & solid technique! He is the one I want at #14, I’m just not sure he’ll be there.”

I’d take any of the top 4 OT’s at #14.

    Maybe Thomas will be there.

It is a rare draft for OT’s.

If an OT is not there at #14, maybe trade back later in the 1st and pick up another 2.

  53. Joe in Michigan Says:

I wanted to see what Swift would do against LSU and Baylor, but he only had 3 carries in the last 2 games because of injury.

  54. Swampbuc Says:

The Bucs will be in great shape if they listen to Dumbanik’s words and do the exact opposite. What a maroon.

  55. Buczilla Says:

Coming out of this draft with a dt, rb, at least 2 ol, and a safety is mandatory. Get it done Licht, because your nine lives could be tapped if you pull another debacle like you did i 2016.

  56. Joe in Michigan Says:

Think about it, though. We needed O-Linemen last year and didn’t draft any. Nothing would surprise me after last year.

  57. Defense Rules Says:

Cobraboy … Bucs can’t miss with their Rnd 1 pick, UNLESS JL gets cute again & drafts a TE or the like. But IF we get 1 of the Top-4 OTs I’d be happy. Same with 1 of the Top-3 DLinemen. I’d rather not use our Rnd 1 pick on a QB or WR or CB, but I could understand that pick. Using it to grab a RB I’d admittedly have trouble understanding (too many good ones available in Rnds 2-3). But regardless, we’ll end up getting a stud. I just want that stud to be a starter.

  58. Marine Buc Says:

It wouldn’t surprise me if we didn’t pick OT in round one. Look at history. How many offensive lineman have GM Licht drafted in round one? How many offensive lineman have Bruce Arians coached teams drafted lineman in round one?

Only once. 2015 Pick #24 – OT DJ Humphries – Florida.

  59. Joe in Michigan Says:

Yes, and Ben Bartch fits what Licht has looked for in previous drafts. Not a 1st Rounder, but he could move up draft boards because he had a really good Combine.

  60. stpetebucsfan Says:

    JoeinMich

I’d love to see us grab Swift but in honesty I see perhaps as many as a half dozen RB’s that could help.

I’m not hyped about drafting another ROJO type…rather have a beast like Dillon for a change of pace and a bruising runner. At 250 he has soft hands…great balance and he seems to always be running downhill.

  61. Joe in Michigan Says:

The Bucs do need a guy like Dillon. Antonio Gibson is big (6-0, 228) with 4.39 speed, probably not the short yardage guy that Dillon is. If we had Gibson coming out of the backfield on routes and also lining up outside, defenses would be in trouble. He returns kicks, too.

  62. TOM Says:

If & when the Bucs draft a RB it should be the best pass catching Rb in the draft. I would say Swift or Dobbins.

Chaisson had 9.5 career sacks at LSU, no Thanks! If you can get to tge QB you would easily have more sacks & please spare me it was how he was lined up. He is a combine baby… tested well but will suck in NFL..

13-15mil for CG14 no way he takes a penny less than what they are paying Evans. We may draft a WR earlier bc once we pay CG14, EVANS is gone…

  64. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

Noles … It IS because of the system he was in… He was not asked to blitz much… Dude Barrett didn’t have hardly any sacks for the length of career he had because he wasn’t asked to blitz and had to sit behind others.. would you have said the same thing about him just because the numbers weren’t there?? I predicted 15 sacks when they signed him because the limited amount of times he was asked to blitz he made the most of it… Just like chaisson … I’m telling you right now that guy on the right team will have 12 sacks his first year!! You watch!! …. Watch the tape on chaisson he looks almost identical to a young jpp or even Barrett!!
