I mean at this point there are 3 obvious positions of need. If we draft anything but tackle, safety, or tailback Licht should start taking some brain pills.
Why would you put a poll of Licht’s drafting confidence? He is a coffee boy for Bucco Bruce at this point. Zero Juice in the decisions. Strickly a Valet for BA
I have 0 confidence that we will draft or sign one, much less two (what we need) difference makers at running back. I’m confident otherwise, since the last couple of drafts have been good.
Arians is here because of Licht, so he deserves that. As K2 just said he’s given the coaches what they want, he’s not responsible for player development after he selects them. He’s been far from perfect that’s for sure but we wouldn’t be in this situation, with this much excitement if it weren’t for him. I’m excited to see what Licht and Arians have in store this weekend
If some posters actually READ what has been posted here, they may not have so much confidence in Arians ability to pick players.
So how did Arians and friends perform with first-round picks? It’s not pretty. Here’s a summary:
2013 Jonathan Cooper, No. 7 overall, Guard – BUST
2014 Deone Bucannon, No. 27 overall, Safety/Linebacker – Didn’t perform to draft level, now with Bucs.
2015 D.J. Humphries, No. 24 overall, Left Tackle – Has played in just 27 games through four seasons.
2016 Robert Nkemdiche, No. 29, Defensive Tackle – After two rough seasons, he finally was having a breakout season last year but blew his knee out in November.
2017 Haason Reddick, No. 13 overall, Linebacker – Lost starting job to begin the 2018 season, came on strong in second half of the year. A work in progress.
But it seems that the COMBINATION of Licht and Arians is quite the synergistic combination.
Go Bucs !!!!!!
Buccaneer Bonzai’s 2020 Draft Wishlist
After taking a year off, my wishlist is back! For those who do not know, this is not a mock draft. It is simply a list of players at each position that I would like us to get during the draft (or as UNFAs). Some would be taken early, some late. We’ll see when it all plays out. I put out one list, before the draft starts.
I don’t do this as a grab for attention, I do it because I like to see if I get any players on my list, and I like to be able to refer back to them later.
Feel free to post your own wishlists! Here’s mine:
Quarterbacks
• QB Tua Tagovailoa
• QB Jacob Eason
• QB Nate Stanley
Offensive Line
• OT Andrew Thomas
• OT Josh Jones (R)
• OT Lucas Niang (R)
• OT Ezra Cleveland (L)
• OT Colton McKivitz (R)
• OT Mekhi Becton
• OG Kevin Dotson
• OG/C Kyle Murphy
Wide Reciever
• Henry Ruggs III
• Justin Jefferson
• Michael Pittman
• Antonio Gandy-Golden
14. Becton or Cleveland, I’m good.
45. Swift (if there) or Clyde Edwards-Helaire
And IF Fromm is there in the 3rd, you steal him, use our 4th and 6th to trade back into the late 3rd and get another stud WR. Fromm has a much better football IQ than Eason and that’s why you take him, to learn from the GOAT and give him a break during the season for at least 1 game.
Bud Light cannot be trusted to run Merry go round never mind a pressure packed nfl draft!! He has shown repeatedly the inability to make good judgment calls ….kickers especially…with valuable draft picks. The talent he has passed over to draft obscure and low ranked players has been very costly to the Bucs…..this cannot continue. He is reactive, not proactive and has repeatedly placed the team in a bad position….not a good roster builder
• The best offensive unit in Bucs history in 2019
• A greatly improved defensive unit in 2019
• It took years to build each
• Has had one bad cap year and turned it around a year later
• Going all in in 2020, yet has everything structured to maximize cap space when the all-in players move on
• Works amazing trades almost every off season
• Has had good drafts every year except one
And even though Winston wasn’t his choice (it was Lovies), he still made the best of it.
Daniel Jeremiah has us taking Jeudy… In a draft so deep at the WR position I’d be shocked! Give me 1 of the big4 OT or Brown, Simmons, Kinlaw or trade the F outta there!
I have confidence that Jason Licht will be making the actual phone calls and fetching the coffee for Bruce Arians because he won’t be making the decisions.

Arians calls the shots, that’s why last years draft was a success. Don’t kid yourselves folks.
April 22nd, 2020 at 5:35 pm
Does it matter? We all know he no longer is allowed to make any decisions of consequence. Maybe we will actually land some worthwhile players again.
April 22nd, 2020 at 5:41 pm
There is a really good chance Licht is just a puppet at this point.
So confident.

We need some of that 4th round magic. You can do it Licht!
