Crazy receiving stat.
An all-NFL team made up of players 25-and-under has just one Bucs player.
But judging the way Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report wrote about Bucs receiver Chris Godwin, it seems Gagnon expects Godwin to be on all sorts of all-star lists in the very near future.
In 2019, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin became just the second player in at least the last quarter-century to catch more than 70 percent of the passes thrown his way and average more than 15.0 yards per reception on 100-plus targets.
Only first-team All-Pro Michael Thomas averaged more receiving yards per game than Godwin, who wasn’t even the top target in his own offense but still exploded with 1,333 yards and nine touchdowns as a 23-year-old Pro Bowler.
Maybe most critically, he dropped just one pass on 121 targets.
Joe knows drop stats are all over the map, largely because they are so subjective. Go ahead and Google “NFL drop stats” and in the first five links you likely will get four different numbers for Godwin.
Still, one drop in 121 targets is extraordinary. And it was not like Godwin was scared to go get balls in traffic.

Happy Easter, he has risen, not the Bucs but Jesus… With so many people dying and no cure in site please stop talking about football and the draft since there will not even be an NFL Season and go do something productive on this Easter like spent it w your family or just give your fingers a break from typing on this post every day like a loser.. Take it from me Danny Dimes, there will be no Sports at all in any way shape or form until a vacine is invented, no players will agree to live isolated in a hotel for 4-6 months not seeing there family etc… The sports world as we know it is over, heck you will not even be allowed to go to a bar or restaraunt again prob until next year

With all due respect I’d love to know your source. Because if true your post is exciting indeed. Hard to believe CG would be the only one however…ME would surely drop in.
Again not distrusting you as much as perhaps your source…if it’s one of those I have friend on the TPD who patrols Davis Island….
BTW These guys do not face what we mere mortals do when it comes to travel.
Brady owns his own jet. It’s a real beauty. Just google Tom Brady’s airplane and you’ll see a dozen pics…he let the Celtics borrow it to recruit Kevin Durant…there’s a pic of him with a dozen or so teammates he flew somewhere.
IE He can easily fly ANY targets AND their families to Tampa without the hassles of going through Airport security and the danger of Covid in the crowds…although there are no real crowds right now.
Of course the team has access to jets…and they can easily rent condos on either Davis or neighboring Harbour Island for the players and their entire families to shelter in place.
So Buddy it’s not that I doubt your post just love to have your source for confirmation.

Agree completely about Joe censoring only that which jeopardizes his enterprise legally. And who can blame him for that. They never censor that which they disagree with..instead responding. The Joes are very transparent something rare in blogging and journalism these days.
Overall I give Joes great kudos for their thick skins. If only they could share some of that thick skin with the man at the top.

stpetebucsfan ME is still in Texas not even in the state. It has just been Brady and Godwin and yes there are patrols on DIslands, a patrol car was actually there watching. 2 guys just throwing it around. Essential physical activity and keeping other away from TB as well.

HomerSimpsonRocks my in laws live on DI. Its becoming more common to those living on the island of sightings of the Brady clan around. No photos, just the word of long time locals of seeing the new residents. Lots of close families and friends have lived there for quite some time so new faces always bring talk among the natives.

Godwin has been a godsend. Only one drop with Aimless throwing… and it really should be negative drops as he played DB a few times to prevent a few more INTs! Just can’t wait to see what Brady’s accuracy does for him.

I would say Godwin is my favorite player. He always come through for the Bucs. I hope the Bucs resign him even if it’s at the expense of Evans.
