One Bucs Fan Is Sure Geeked

You can just hear Dick Vitale’s voice in your head when he learned Tom Brady was coming to the Bucs.
“It’s awesome, bay-bee with a Capital-A!”
Vitale, who is sort of the unemployed ambassador of Tampa Bay sports, hit the ceiling when he got a text while recording a spot with BSPN that Brady was on his way to Tampa Bay.
In fact, Vitale admitted the feeling he got learning of Brady to the Bucs was just like embracing a woman in his arms.

The physical is happening today. Good news.
And Vitale is such an enthusiastic ambassador of TB Sports. He loves his BUCS, LIGHTNING & RAYS.
It’s pretty cool.

Dickie-V, repping the 941! It’s been years, but I thought he was out on LBK; I guess he got tired of that Sarasota or AMI traffic!
Also heard Cowherd last night on WDAE around 7-7:30; if you can find it, it is worth a listen. Kinda pokes a little fun at our area, but I thought did a really interesting comparison between NE and Tampa—and even called out our region as still being in disbelief that TB12 is coming here (I mean, he’s not wrong—I think ReMax would identify with that!). Cowherd is not my first choice for sports insight, but you get what you get with Tampa sports radio (and in Bradenton, I have to rely on 620 and can’t even do FM!).
