Cowherd Thinks It Is Bucs

March 17th, 2020

Received tip.

Though he made perfectly clear his key source is not a football source, FOX Sports personality Colin Cowherd believes he has inside information of the future team on future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady.

And that team would be the Bucs.

Cowherd rattled off the teams he thinks Brady should go to, or where he would go if he were Brady and then discussed the advantages of the two teams believed to be in the running, the Chargers and the Bucs.

Cowherd claims the person naming the Bucs as the choice is a “Hollywood” source.

Well, Brady did launch a Hollywood production company earlier this month.

You can see Cowherd’s take below.

Time will tell if this is true. Cowherd’s track record is, well, not a good batting average.

Marky Mark Whalburg trying to stir the pot.

  2. Pewter power Says:

For the people like joe that thinks that Giselle would need or want to pack up and move the family for a 2 yrs contract. I bet the superbowl being in tampa is a big deal now. Even if we get brady they better get a great guard tackle running back and safety in this draft or itll be close games every week even if we score a lot of points. I was really hoping we’d go for a veteran safety

  3. Chris Says:

I don’t doubt his source. Colin said last week he couldn’t even see Brady picking Tampa.
Now he’s changing his tune to be the first to report it? He even says in the video he doesn’t agree that’s the best fit for him is Tampa. Come on Joe’s.

  4. geno711 Says:

    I have that same source.

It is a 22 year contract so that Tom Brady can retire at age 65 and immediately be Medicare eligible.

Jason Licht is a little concerned of Tom declining in his age 61 to 64 years though.

  5. Jonathan Limpchimpi Says:

Not since Rob Lowe declared Peyton Manning retired have we been sold such a bill of goods. CowNerd can walk this back as “not my report”.

  6. Buccernutter Says:

He also said chargers have better weapons. LMAO

But I think he’s right, sadly.

  7. Adrnagy Says:

Chargers defense is better than Bucs.

Chargers have better RB than Bucs

Chargers will sign Antonio browns. Bucs not too sure .

Brady’s family lives in LA as well.

Lichts statement. No deal in place.

    Going to the wire ….

  8. mark2001 Says:

I would be overjoyed…a QB that acts and plays like a true NFL franchise QB…for two or three years, anyway. And even better than the last great Bucs QB..Doug Williams.

  9. tnikkichristy@gmail.com Says:

I’m not sure he would make such a bold statement without something substantive to back it up.It seems that the Bridgewater/Rivers’ camps are aware of something. Don’t you guys (Joebucsfan)have some intel? What about the Sage?

  10. soggy Says:

OH NO the sky falling we might get brady and lose JW.. OH NO

  11. Eric Says:

Lets see how many done deals have we endured?

    Parcells
    Spurrier
    Favre
    Chip Kelly

  12. Tval Says:

Just a TERRIBLE look if hes wrong. I dont doubt the bucs are that dumb. They were stupid enough to offer in the first place. Bill isnt the best because of zero foresight. Bruce isnt on his 9th team because hes coveted.

  13. Eric Says:

    No Brady
    No Rivers
    No Bridgewater

    Welcome back Jameis.

  14. Pewter power Says:

If Winston doesn’t get a starting job he would be wise to sit behind the goat, why not if they suggested sitting behind Brees. Guess we’ll see how the Brady rumor shakes out tomorrow hopefully theres no delay

  15. rhenry Says:

Bridgewater signing with the Panthers. Anyone know where I can purchase a Buccaneer Gabbert Jersey?

  16. Tval Says:

If you were smart, soggy…im sure nobodys accused you of such. Lmao!!!

  17. Tval Says:

Id sit behind wentz. He gets hurt every year and theyre a SUPER qb friendly system. Id also compete in Indy/Chi. Reich, Pederson, and Nagy would fall in LOVE and be perfect style matches.

  18. Chris Says:

I wonder if the Joe’s find it concerning that there’s no interest for jameis 🤔🤔🤔

  19. Anonymous Says:

People who think Winston will sit behind Brady don’t know how a salary cap works

  20. 813bucboi Says:

    anyone but JW….LOL…

    JW IS A BUST!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!

  21. MTM Says:

Sorry but the Bucs offer a better chance than the Chargers. The Bucs defense is emerging. The RB situation is fixable and Brady gets the ball out quickly so the O-line won’t be gassed watching a dumbass QB running around like an idiot.

  22. Christopher Schiefen Says:

Tval…Bruce and Bill have each coached for 8 professional team. They’re each on their 3rd head coaching gig though Bruce was interim, retired, and now. Bill was fired, resigned, and then now.

  23. Adrnagy Says:

    Mtm…
so you live in the “ what if” or “ we can be “ good football world ?

  24. Evolvingbucsfan Says:

Hearing everywhere on Twitter that Bucs are signing Brady, i wonder if they are just running with the Colin rumor?

  25. Tye Says:

between the Bucs and Chargers, and added element the Bucs offer is a chance to win NFC title… How many qbs have won both honors or a SB for both the AFC and the NFC…

  26. soggy Says:

There is hope but I would wait and see for sure

  27. Eric Says:

Jameis threw nine more tds and 1000 more yards than Brady last year.

  28. Buc1987 Says:

Brady to Evans, Godwin and Howard!

    Bring it Brady!

I’m starting to think he might be coming after all.

Either Brady or we wind up with Gabbert as the starter!

  29. fernando diaz Says:

we just go back to the stone age as a franchise

  30. TampaBay AllDay Says:

If Brady doesn’t come. Jameis stays. He’s not going to throw 30 picks again in the second year of the same offence. Jameis has gotten better every year. The turnovers are not going to happen the as much as last year

  31. Curse of Gruden Says:

What does Ira say? Doesn’t Ira have some sources??

  32. TampaBay AllDay Says:

    I doubt Brady comes though

  33. passthebuc Says:

I can see it now, Giselle shopping at 7-11

  34. TampaBay AllDay Says:

    Offense*

  35. MTM Says:

Ardnagy – well when you need improvement what can be done but address the issues. You mean TB shouldn’t come sign with the Bucs because they aren’t perfect? WTF is your point?

  36. Tye Says:

‘Jameis threw nine more tds and 1000 more yards than Brady last year.’

and yet we hear NO ONE interested in JW…

Even a report yesterday about Mariota sign with the Raiders stated Mike Mayock thought Mariota was the best of the 2015 drafted..
Had his chance at either one and pounced at the chance to get Mariota day 1!

  37. Pelsbuc61 Says:

    Andy Dalton, come on down!

  38. RGD12 Says:

Brady wants the ultimate challenge, well the SB is played in Tampa. Mission accomplished!!

  39. Ndog Says:

Not being negative here folks, seriously but I just got done watching ESPNs top ten Brady moments and in every one of them he is just chilling in the pocket holding the ball forever. He legit on one was standing completely still directing the WRs where to go. All I’m saying is if he does choose us we have A LOT of work to do on the oline cause expecting him to succeed by just getting rid of the ball quicker is simply not going to cut it

  40. TampaBay AllDay Says:

    Foh with Andy Dalton.

  41. Dewey Selmon Says:

    Who wears #12

  42. Bucsfanman Says:

1987- “Either Brady or we wind up with Gabbert as the starter.”
The more you think about it, the more it starts to make sense. Gabbert, that is.
Bear with me. Cash-strapped from re-signing defensive players, the Bucs go with a journeyman QB and draft a QB high in the draft. It’s not that far-fetched if you think about it.

  43. TampaBay AllDay Says:

Rather have a 26yr old Winston then a 32yr old Dalton

  44. TampaBay AllDay Says:

Omg Gabbert. Are u guys freaking serious?

  45. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

If you think any QB can just come here and be successful because his name is not JW, then you probably don’t know a football from a baboon’s arse.
Like I said before, watch, we will upgrade the Oline, the RB, the defense will play solid, and all of a sudden you yokels will think we are winning because JW isn’t here.

  46. Dave Says:

you people need to watch the news about cornoa more going on in this world then where the hell Brady is going, you losers

  47. OneBuc55 Says:

    @RDG12…

Why would Brady care where the Superbowl is gonna be played…smh…Buc fans are the best

  48. Chris K Says:

It would be fitting and so damn ironic for Joe if Brady came here. Spent five years trying to get the name America’s QB to stick on here and convince us how much Jameis moves the needle and then we actually sign the real America’s QB and the man who will actually move the needle (fan excitement)… This needs to happen now just for that reason alone! Lol..

  49. soggy Says:

You tell em dave now get back to your tv..

  50. MadMax Says:

Tom Brady to Tampa bay……sure has a nice ring to it…..as in super bowl ring 🙂

  51. TampaBay AllDay Says:

Screw the Corona right now, this is a sports website. Kick rocks.

  52. Swampbuc Says:

If there is a bigger feminine hygiene product out there, I can’t think of him. Cowherd is unlistenable.

  53. Bucsfanman Says:

Gabbert as a transition QB? Why is THAT so far-fetched? We’re thinking Brady is coming here, aren’t we?! Isn’t that a much bigger stretch than Gabbert?
Fact is, we’re caught up in this little drama and the truth is (unless they announce it as I type!) NOBODY KNOWS!

  54. Buc50 Says:

Godwin wears #12 I’m sure he will give that up

  55. TexBuc Says:

Last I read this was a sports blog Dave.

  56. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

Dave I think you missed 15 seconds of CNN, see ya, you sheep.

  57. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

It will be funny when tomorrow they announce Brady signs with Chargers and we reflect on how the best part of the offseason for us was the 18 hours we thought Brady was going to be our QB.
    It
    Is
    Not
    Happening!!!!

  58. MadMax Says:

3 years, 100 mill is my guess.

  59. TampaBay AllDay Says:

    Because Gabbert sucks. Duh!

  60. TampaBay AllDay Says:

Please at least google Gabberts stats and come back with a logical response. Not to mention actually watching him play. Hes doodoo butter

  61. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

TBAD- They think because his name is not Jameis that Gabbert must be better…..smh…the crazy thing is they might actually believe it and not just be idiotic trolls.

  62. TampaBay AllDay Says:

@ Alaskan its truly sad brotha

  63. Bucsfanman Says:

You guys are funny! It was thrown out as a possibility. Open your minds a little. Nobody stated that Gabbert is better than Winston.
What seems to be pretty clear at this point is that Bucs brass are looking elsewhere for a QB.
Any of you Nostradamus posters predict DeAndre Hopkins getting traded?! Yeah, didn’t think so. Anything is possible.

  64. Ed Says:

Brady has made filet mignon out of horse meat. Look at what he did when he had Randy Moss, undefeated. Does anyone realize that with Tom Brady throwing the ball to Mike Evans, Mike will be the #1 receiver in the NFL. Brady will be “ballin” with those 2 wideouts. I know he’s old and I realize the Bucs don’t have the best offensive line but Brady has balls and hates to lose. He can will the Bucs to victories. Exciting to think about in these dark times.

  65. Clean House Says:

Marky Mark planting a Tampa seed to the press- to get more cash from the chargers or cowboys

    Priceless

  66. View from 132 Says:

What kind of name is COW HERD? Is that real? Like herd of cows? Or Coward? Odd.

  67. Pit of Misery Says:

Gabbert isn’t great, but neither was Tannehill until he changed teams. Not advocating, but….
