Arians Goes Deeper On Effects Of Turnovers

February 29th, 2020

When you talk about the Bucs offense, you talk about huge production and baffling turnover numbers.

Bucco Bruce Arians went there in ways he hadn’t previously on SiriusXM NFL Radio this week.

Arians was pressed on what is an acceptable interception total in his aggressive, push-it-down-field offense. Perhaps 15 of 16, Arians was asked. The head coach wouldn’t answer, instead calling on the timing of picks and where they appear during a drive.

“When does it happen? Does it happen in the last two minutes of the game? Not good,” Arians said. “Because the last two minutes of the half and the last two minutes of the game is when most games are won. So if you can’t play in those scenarios, and we played great at the end of the half this year, and we played very poorly at the end of games. So yeah, I mean that’s one of those things where you keep throwing it up and trying to answer.

“I think we gave the ball up inside our own 30 [yard line] 20 times. That’s bad.”

Arians was adamant that the Bucs’ turnover/interception total was devastating to not only the offense but it put too much stress on the emerging Bucs defense.

“We’re not going to throw it any better other than taking out interceptions,” Arians said.

Decision Jameis looms.

What a waste of time this Winston experiment has been.

  2. FactTeller Says:

Mariota was an experiment and waste. Winston is a decent starter in this league.
This year will be his first in the playoffs

  3. Natron Says:

Well, BA didn’t say “The end is near” , but Jameis might want to get his agents working on options

  4. SteveK Says:

24 INTs in 8 home games.

    Not a recipe for playoffs.

Cut bait and get a new QB!

Playoffs 2020 start with a new QB!

  5. MirrorMirrowOnTheWall Says:

I hope the Bucs let Winston go. I am team Jameis. The Bucs will be what they have always been. Peyton Manning’s interceptions were worse than Jameis after five years. Let the man be free. Let me be free.

  6. Pa Privateer Says:

20 INTs inside our own 30 yd line!!!!!!!

We know how many were Pick6s, now how many others resulted in a touchdown?

Clearly sounds like Arians and Litch are hammering home a label on Winston, which will drive down the hometown price and FA price across the league.

  7. WestChap Says:

BA still having nightmares of the pick6 to end week 17 OT and the season… just a horrible play from start to finish with staring down the route and throwing late. Lots more to fret about from the QB in that game but he had lots of help in losing with 3 missed FGs and Rojo fumble to start first series.

  8. NO FEAR... Says:

I THINK IF THE RIGHT QUARTERBACK WENT TO THE OTHER TEAM THINGS MIGHT HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT , LIKE MARIOTA WENT TO THE BUC’S AND WINSTON WENT TO THE TENN….WHO’S TO SAY ???? YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT THE OUTCOME WOULD HAVE BEEN ….THEY BOTH MIGHT HAVE DONE BETTER IN THE RIGHT UNIFORMS………

  9. Robert James Says:

weather he stays or goes… what a waste of 5 years

  10. SteveK Says:

Let’s not waste a sixth year! Start fresh in 2020 at QB. Cut the turnovers out of the equation.

  11. Jonathan Limpchimpi Says:

The Buc’s Brass Monkeys really are piling on Jameis at this point. He probably wants outta Tampa Would be my guess. Sure hope they know what they’re doing…

  12. Destinjohnny Says:

Winston has to get under 10 picks

  13. Ndog Says:

Of course this is all the fault of one Jameis Winston. He’s the one that kept the same drop back and chuck it gameplan with an entire backup right side of the oline vs Carolina and keep the same gameplan down 3 of our top 4 WRs vs Houston and Atlanta. Why did he call those plays?

  14. JimmyJack Says:

Right on Coach!!! The moments matter more then the stats.

Throw me a bone head pick or two……..but you gonna pick up the slack in those final minutes and deliver in the clutch and I can work with that.

Winston choked this year and was not clutch…….way way too often. I can’t win with that.

Also the picks to start games are trash also. That’s not how an elite QB sets a tone. Y’all debate all day but Winston is not yet elite. This past year prooven it…….I happen to think he can still get there but he so far has failed expectations. Facts.

  15. Adrnagy Says:

Stupid comment from the head coach. Really stupid.

Half end of the season ??

Down Evans and Godwin. Broken thumb. Torn meniscus. And a kicker who sucks. Play caller first season. Suspicious running game. And the defense that’s ok not great. I mean then can’t stop 1,2,3 your out the others team offense. Or I should say great defense and can’t stop when it matters the most.

  16. SteveK Says:

    34 TDs: 35 Turnovers

4.8% INT rate vs 2.3% league average

    Cut bait

  17. DoooshLaRue Says:

I’ve said the same thing many, many times.
It’s the timing. They come at the absolute worst times and they….

CHANGE THE TONE OF THE GAME!

This is one thing a certain CLUELESS Nuthugger can’t understand.

Thank you BA for a moment of clarity.

  18. BigMacAttack Says:

I’ll be happy and hopeful if Jameis goes away. There’s a couple decent QBs to most likely be had in the 2’nd round. I don’t see how the worst rookie QB could throw 30 pics, let alone 20 inside his own 30. I don’t see how any QB can do that outside of America’s Failed Crotch Grabbing Crab Stealing Machine. I would have told him to pack his trash 5 minutes after his last game losing pick. Worst QB ever. He deflates the fans in an instant. I can only imagine how frustrating it is for his teammates. Winston is Garbage.

  19. BigMacAttack Says:

Licht needs 3 picks in the draft. Trade away rounds 4-7 to move up because he will waste them anyway. Very high probability the Idiot in Chief drafts another kicker. Bet 🙄🙄😂

  20. JimmyJack Says:

NDog what are you even talking about drop back and chuck it? That don’t even scratch the surface with the problems with Winston.

That freaking OT pick was a five yard pattern for crying out loud! Quick routes over the middle were routinely stolen by opposing LBs all year. The first two picks of the Texans game were both quick reads if o remember correctly………The freaking guy couldn’t throw a darn screen pass properly for crying out loud………….Jeez man for someone running around calling everyone clueless you sure sound like a danged ass bro.

Choke on those facts…….Better yet find a way to make a excuse for em. Hahaha

  21. Ndog Says:

Of course it’s the important end of game plays that matter. I mean the great 4th quarter drives against the Giants, Cardinals, Colts and Seahawks were all the WRs, TEs, RBs and oline. And of course all of the TOs in those situations were 100% on the QB, we all know that. Duh….

  22. OneBuc55 Says:

Yeah he definitely has plenty turnovers at the worst possible time…

That’s the next stage in Winstons development…he has all the talent in the world, but he won’t ever be elite until he fixes this problem of not understanding situational football…turnovers happen in football; it’s the bonehead stuff that has to go…

  23. Ndog Says:

Yes JimmyJack it was Jameis’s fault Dare didn’t get out into the screen pass like he should of. I mean he must have told the defense what was coming by tipping the play off. And all of those other screen passes that worked every other time this past year to Godwin and OJ we’re clearly just lucky throws. You’re right bro it was Jameis who told the defense end the snap count so he could blow by the RT and hit his arm. And it was clearly Jameis fault that Evans didn’t come back to the ball I mean he should have looked the complete opposite direction while throwing the ball so the defense had no idea where it was going cause they came to the ball. Dang that Jameis.

  24. Craig Says:

Arians forgot to talk about the beginning of the game. Interceptions there put you in a hole that sucks the air out of the stadium.

It doesn’t matter about the timing of the interceptions with Jameis. He has thrown them everywhere and there is no good time to chuck a duck of an interception into Jameis’ hands.

I hope Jameis is not back, but I think it will come down to money. Getting someone good to play here is going to cost a lot. Jameis might be cheap enough that he stays another year or two. I hope they draft someone decent because Jameis will be benched after 6 or so interceptions. That might be one game is history is a guide.

  25. Check your sheet Says:

Lil pup… No one gives two spits what you think or write because it’s the same broken record each time. You love everything about America’s turnover machine and the annointed one should be paid untold millions because you don’t blame him for anything that goes wrong. Stop posting a dozen times a day about your infatuation with one of the most prolific turnover specialists the nfl has ever seen. When Jameis suckers some other team into signing him for way too much, go cheer for him and stop spinning your rah rah crap here because we are over it. Go Bucs!

  26. Ndog Says:

I can’t wait till next year when the great Red Rifle comes to Tampa!!!!!!

He is going to cure all our ills and transform our running game into the most dominate unit in the history of the league. He will eliminate any and all TOs by ensuring every player makes every play and NEVER makes and error again. Heck what I saying no Bucs player every made an error I forgot it was all Jameis causing what looked like their errors, silly me.

  27. Pete I Says:

“weather he stays or goes… what a waste of 5 years” (wrong whether-however with meaningless stats Winston the outlook is always gloomy) but the comment was spot on!

whether he stays or goes…it has been a waste of 5 years.

  28. Ndog Says:

Oh Check you misunderstand we agree once Jameis is gone we can all rejoice and look forward to a decade or two of dominance. Come on man we are so close to being rid of the singular reason we have not been winning.

  29. Hethrew 30 Says:

Uh oh, call the INT po-po. Jameis in some trouble big here. But to answer the dumb question about how many INTs are acceptable….answer is NONE. Arians already was wierd in saying he’d give Winston one per game. Why say that stuff. We know mistakes happen. We know INTs will happen, but they are NEVER acceptable. Do you tell your kid one wrecked car is the max? You strive for zero defects. And when the unacceptable happens, you deal with it. How many losses are acceptable? Asnwer is NONE. When they happen, you deal with it.

But one thing is clear, Winston isn’t getting it done the way Arians wants. Clearly he is the QB of last resort.

  30. Check your sheet Says:

Lil pup…The human ATM is not the only reason we lose so much, just the main one. I can’t take anymore of the brainless, careless, “I am accountable to no one” attitude the turnover machine projects. We expect him to do something stupid and careless with the football and opposing defenders salivate at the thought of the ATM re signing with the Bucs. Picks make you millions as a d back and the ATM always pays off in a big way. Keep the cancer away from my Bucs! Go Bucs!

  31. Hethrew 30 Says:

Ndog, I agree with you…when Winston is gone, we’ll win more. I don’t think you are right in that the running game will elminate TOs.

  32. Bucsfan951 Says:

Ndogg the beaten up man. I feel bad actually 😕

  33. JimmyJack Says:

I have seen pro QBs run a screen play that goes wrong before. I have seen dozens of them. And the play not working was not their fault.

And ya know what? None of them QBs get a excuse…….And you know why? Because they did like they was taught and they threw the ball into the dirt.

Maybe we could argue Winston was taught to try and make a play anyway……..But that would be dumb……..First because no competent coach would teach that. But more importantly Winston has been trying to force plays that weren’t there for his entire career.

So NDog maybe you need to answer me a question one time. Does Winston or does he not have a bad habit of trying to force plays that aren’t on there?

**Hint** There to s only thing we correct answer to that question. And it’s unquestioned fact

  34. DoooshLaRue Says:

Why is the Red Rifle our only option?

    Hmmmmm?

  35. HeavyE Says:

Winston, isn’t going anywhere, and then We will draft Love, and watch all the Klan members lose there minds……LMAO!!!!

  36. LaMarcus Says:

Come in Bruce you came here to coach JW so coach him up. Leftwich coaching him is maddening

  37. SteveK Says:

Wake up and smell the turnovers.

  38. Bob in Valrico Says:

    Ndog ,
How about that great 4 th quarter drive of the Giants game. You know the one where Jameis couldn’t complete a hot read for a first down to Evans at the giant 30 yard line. How in the world do you miss a wide open Evans streaking across the middle wide freaking open. Get a clue and watch the play from the endzone Watch Jameis footwork and his throwing motion. Watch the ball
sail high and behind Evans into the safeties hands.

  39. Pewter power Says:

    SteveK says
24 INTs in 8 home games.

Be careful next thing you know winston supporters will be blaming the home fans for the interceptions because so far it’s the offensive lines fault, the defense, the coach, the tight ends, and receivers also the media for even suggesting its winston fault. It cant possibly be winston fault he threw the ball to the other team, how is that possible?😂😂😂

  40. JimmyJack Says:

And Winston will be back and I’m glad. Bruce will fix him. This whole Brady thing is a motivational tacit. It’s a calcated move on Bruce’s part.

Right now he is wispering to Winston.

He’s been wispering all year pushing him to play hurt, forcing him to keep hurling it. He’s been pushing pushing pushing……Now talking about Brady he is pushing more. He’s gonna break Winston…….And soon enough Winston gonna storm into Bruce’s office one day and unload on him. And its exactually when Bruce intends.

It’s precisely what the Big Tuna himself did to Simms and it worked.

  41. BigMacAttack Says:

I want to win. I’m sick of losing. Perennial losers since Gruden got the boot. We all have opinions on how to get there but the only ones that count are Licht and Arians. Licht did a better job in 2019’ but another wasted kicker pick, or so it seems. Based on Licht’s good vs bad picks and FA’s, odds say he’s going to screw the pooch again. But maybe Licht has turned the corner and finally figured it out. I’m interested to see how he does with his Free Agents. You’d think he’d have some of them signed by now, but so far Mr. Procrastination has big fat goose egg. Vegas always wins and that says Licht will make some more big mistakes in the next two months. But I hope not.

  42. JimmyJack Says:

Oh and BTW. That moment when Phil Simms finally snapped happened on the sideline and was caught on camera.

Easily the greatest NFL non Bucs thing I never saw.

If only we could be so lucky to have Winston’s moment come on the field like that.

    GO BUCS!!!

  43. BigMacAttack Says:

Winston already had his moment. He ate W’s.

  44. #1 Pick QB 2 Cent Brain Says:

    He’s gone

BA has no room for qb who plays dumb when it counts

  45. Pelsbuc61 Says:

JW will throw ints all throughout the game but it’s particularly demoralizing and a waste of resources when he consistently starts games putting the Bucs down by 2 scores. Next thing you know the Bucs are 2-6 and we’re talking draft in October. Despite that, the notion that they would even consider the possibility of bring him back for a 6th year is mind boggling.

  46. posey99 Says:

The important thing to remember is this was a contract year for Winston. Meaning he was trying his very best. If you think somehow we give Winston a new deal and he all of the suddens performs better, you’re lying to yourself

  47. Defense Rules Says:

Have you all noticed yet that every time Joe launches a ‘Bad Jameis’ article tons of anti-Jameis JBFers pile on. And every time Joe launches a ‘Good Jameis’ article tons of pro-Jameis JBFers pile on. Hmmm … just about everyone EXCEPT Ndog. Kudos Ndog for CONSISTENCY in defending Jameis.

I’m like BigMacAttack … “I want to win. I’m sick of losing.” Unlike BigMac though, I don’t see Jason Licht as a driving factor in what goes on over these next 2 months. This is BA’s show, and JL knows it.

Also agree with JimmyJack … “Winston will be back” and “Bruce will fix him”. I believe that not because of Jameis, but because of Arians. He now has 1 year under his belt as Bucs’ HC, and although he says he doesn’t like analytics, he’s quite ‘analytical’. He won’t accept the same mistakes from Jameis 2 years in a row. BA can see the ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ … keep this defense together, fix the OLine, get 1 or 2 quality RBs, and modify the offensive attack to achieve better BALANCE. Do those few things and the playoffs are within reach. And once in, anything can happen. Ask Tennessee, the Wildcard team who knocked off the Patriots & the Ravens. Ask the 49ers who went from 4012 in 2018 to 13-3 in 2019 and SB Runner-Up.

  48. BucEmUp Says:

First year throwing that many picks.Stupid fans act like his average 17 int total is what cost past seasons when he had the worst defense in the league that gave up most time of possession, most yards, most points, most yardage and no running game.

Dude had a torn meniscus, broken hand, first year offense, and horrible eye sight.

Yeah….definetly no room for improvement going into next season. IDIOTS!!!

  49. TexBuc Says:

So BA what are you waiting for? Make the call and move on.

  50. Bird Says:

I feel bad. … just finished eating a Twinkie and a ding dong.

  52. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

There.. a coach who is regarded as one of the better coaches in the league has said the same thing myself and a lot of others have been saying forever… It’s not the picks he throws it’s the fact he throws them to lose the game for you!!! He’ll throw one or two right away then fight back with meaningless yards and points then when the game is almost saved and on the line and means something again… BAM!! He throws the pick to end the game… Or even a pick 6 to end the game!! There’s an experiment for you Winston lovers!! How many pick 6s did he end the game with last year?? I can think of 2 right away!! So that’s 2 games right there he cost them and those 2 wins possibly get you in the playoffs!!… HE’S HORRIBLE

  53. TexBuc Says:

    SorryJack

So why has the Bucs NOT announced they have decided to part ways with Winston?
As of right now they have not so Winston is still in their plans.

  54. Tye Says:

‘Taking out interceptions’ = taking out JW!

  55. Tye Says:

“Because the last two minutes of the half and the last two minutes of the game is when most games are won. So if you can’t play in those scenarios, and we played great at the end of the half this year, and we played very poorly at the end of games. ”

    Conclusion – Choke!

  56. CPN Says:

Winston throwing a pick-6 to end the season just sums it all up.

  57. Clean House Says:

Maybe BS should try running the ball

  58. Jeffbuc Says:

I’m just sitting here rewatching 2019 games. And I can see teams just jumping routes. Rewatch games jameis supporters. If you rewatch you see how much defenders just sit back and jump routes and jameis throws it right to them. The league knows so all coverage guys play with a little more recklessness against jameis to get a pick. So that in my theory of rewatching is why he has huge yardage numbers and high pick numbers. Players are like they will give up 4 completions in exchange for that one pick. I think every fan should rewatch every game without bias it changes everything when your not rooting for your team but just watching what is going on. I can tell you it doesn’t look that good for jameis doing this way. Watching with your eyes instead of your feelings. I have been marking down bad balls that should have been picked or should have kept a drive alive open guy easy nfl throw. And I am at 108 game changing bad throws by jameis. I have counted 38 more throws that were dropped by defender or batted down by bucs receiver that could have just as easy been intercepted. He could have really had 68 interceptions this year. I have 123 great throws that were on the money. And the rest were any joe nfl could have made wide open guys by nfl standard

  59. BrianBucs Says:

    Defense win championships.
    Turnovers lose games.
Keep your defense in tact and get a QB that doesn’t give the ball away like it’s charity.
Making the playoffs begins with getting a new QB.

  60. Adrnagy Says:

Defense don’t win championships. At least not in this decade.

    Qb do nowadays.

    Titans lost
    49ers lost
    Patriots lost

Smart football team win. Dumb football teams lose.

  61. BigMacAttack Says:

Sign everyone on the defense. Extend Godwin. Save money for draft picks. Trade or cut Brate if no dance partner. Whatever cap money is left you can use for Jameis. If he doesn’t want it find someone who does.

  62. BelleGladeBuc Says:

To many people on this site don’t understand football.

Bruce Arians offense demands a quarterback that can take a beating.

Bruce Arians helped contribute to Andrew Luck getting destroyed, injured and ultimately leaving football.

Big Ben is a freak of nature outlier in his longevity, but he got pounded in Arians offense.

Bruce Arians’ offense ended Carson Palmer’s career.

Being physically able to take a beating is mandatory for a QB in Bruce Arians’ offense.

Who out there in free agency or the draft can take the beating that Arians pits on his QB’s?

More importantly, everything I have written is well known in football, what agent and player wants to sign up for that beating?

  63. Adrnagy Says:

Well… many folks in here believe Tom Brady can take a pounding at 43

  64. Adrnagy Says:

You guys really think by signing everyone back on defense it will be a top 5 defense.
    Not accounting Possible injuries etc.
by spending all money on this free agent we don’t have enough for depth. One or two injuries we will be the next eagles.

No depth in wr. Dline. Oline. Lb etc.

I was hoping we would sign romo but cbs got him at 17m. I was thinking we should’ve offer 15m

    Sign everyone on the defense

  65. SteveK Says:

The defense was money once JPP came back. Resign: Shaq, JPP, Suh and Nassib.

Brady is the GOAT and he has earned the right to continue playing my base solely on Joan production.

Could you imagine 24 TD and 8 INTs last year? Hello playoffs!!

Jameis turns it over too much for playoffs to ever be a viable option.

I like Jameis and root for him, but his turnovers can not be ifnoverd. Five years is enough. Good luck!

  66. Adrnagy Says:

I’m ok if we go a different direction on qb. I don’t think it’s the right move at least now. Just pls don’t sign shaq to a big contract. Tag him and let’s see one more year.

  67. Adrnagy Says:

    Shaq= Albert haynesworth Robert Griffin

  68. Jean Lafitte Says:

Arians impressively gave the best answer he could give about the impact and timing of turnovers. Jameis’s timing was terrible. That’s a lot of TO’s inside our own 30. And for some reason, Jameis has also been pedestrian when in the clutch while throwing away any momentum. Not very many comeback wins.

  69. Athlete Says:

Jameis ,,, I know you don’t read these nonsensical people’s opinions because 99% of them never threw a pass after high school, but please get out of Tampa. There is nothing good here besides part of your O-line, Godwin and your up and coming D. People keep talking about how long you hold onto the ball…. well, did anyone ever check why that is?????? How about the #1 guy Evans who has had so many yards and made so much money. He is not fast, nor is he explosive. Can he get to his spot and break??? No…..He is a tall fella that can catch 75% of the passes thrown to him. I’m just curious how come Arians hasn’t blown up any of the receivers who messed up their pass routes. The reason #1 draft picks do not succeed is because they have nothing to prosper with!!!! Mahomes was given a playoff team. Hard to fail with what he had. Best O-line, best receivers… Jameis ever have anything like that?

  70. TexBuc Says:

JeffBuc thank you for making my point of why an offense NEEDS a running game. BA’s offense is play action based passing offense and without a credible running threat we are asking the QB to MAKE risky throws.

  71. TexBuc Says:

I remember a few years ago we thought our defense had turned the corner because we finished the year strong, and guess what happened the next season everyone was calling for Mike Smith to be fired.

    ———————–/////
Let’s not forget the 80 yard drive to tie the game with 3:01 left in the 4th. Stop them from going 65 yards down the field for a 33 yard fg and who knows.

I remember last year when this same argument was about Jaboo’s long ball and how inaccurate he is/was. He couldn’t hit anyone in stride, they said.

  75. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    • Tag Winston, draft QB Tua, Eason or Herbert
    • Do not draft Jordan Love
    • Let Winston walk, sign Philip Rivers, Draft a QB
    • Sign no QB, move up in draft, take a QB
    • Re-sign Winston

    I trust Arians.

But consider this: People all assume that because the Bucs might tag Shaq (might), that means Winston will hit the street. But it could mean they plan to re-sign Winston too.

  76. OneBuc55 Says:

Comments not posting oh well, it figures

  77. SteveK Says:

I believe our playoff pursuit begins 100% behind fixing the turnover margin.

  78. SteveK Says:

    Bonzai,

If one player earned a long term deal last year it’s Shaq. It would be beyond foolish to sign Winston for multiple years, tag him, or bring him back.

  79. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    SteveK Says
“Bonzai, If one player earned a long term deal last year it’s Shaq. It would be beyond foolish to sign Winston for multiple years, tag him, or bring him back. ”

I agree about Shaq. That’s why I don’t believe the announcement that Shaq will get tagged. I think he gets re-signed.

As to Winston, I was just laying out the possible options above.

Would I like to see Winston remain a Buc? Sure, if Arians wants to. If it comes to that, I think tagging him is smarter than re-signing him. And I do believe that is what they end up doing, unless a bigger, better option presents itself.

I do not think Brady will be the guy. I think he remains a Patriot. The Pats are not even fretting over finding a replacement.

And I don’t think anyone else (free agents) show as much potential. In trade? Well, Bridgewater is pure backup material. Stafford and Carr won’t be available. So no one in trade either.

So that leaves the draft. If the Bucs decide to move on from Winston, they have to sign a guy to act as a bridge…because they can’t know for certain that the guy they want in the draft will fall to them. Philip Rivers might be a good bridge. His shelf life is obviously limited…and he would likely come cheaper than Winston.

But that would also mean Arians is willing to spend the time developing a rookie for a few years. Does anyone know that?

Just trying to see all the angles.

BA looks like an 90 year old version Lupus from the bad news bears movie….. lupus most likely has a better team building resume than this fool.

DB55, 100% agree that Jameis did not lose week 17 game by himself… it was very much a team effort.

However, you have to admit that the pick6 to end it is the perfect illustration of both BA’s point and why so many Buc fans can’t wrap their minds around trusting JW to win games while soaking up close to $30M in cap space. He regularly makes those kinds of rookie mistakes (staring down Brate, late throw after break) in the worst of spots (OT, backed up in your end of the field).

Sounds like another ringing endorsement for America’s turnover machine.

I see the last ATL game differently I guess. In reality, the offense scored 15 points (bucs defense got a td) but then Winston tosses a pick 6 to end it.

    1. Offense fumbles on their own 27 which leads to a fg. Can’t blame the d there.
    2. Winston tosses an int at the Bucs own 25 yard line. Leads to a td.

So 10 points during regulation time off of offensive turnovers.

Bucs defense actually gets a td to help the offense!!!

Winston with the pick 6 to end the season.

Do we not see a problem here? Blame the kicker all you want. Blame the defense for the last second fg all you want.

again, another 16 points scored off of offensive turnovers on very short fields.

But yes, blame the defense all you want, kids smh.

    Exactly!

Points scored don’t explain points off turnovers.

Wake up and smell the turnovers!
