Bucs “On Schedule”
December 8th, 2019And here you were impressed that the Bucs have won three of their last four games, eh?
Well, not everyone across the land is ready to buy into the Bucs having a corner turned. In fact, the savvy prognosticators who work and play in Las Vegas seem right on the mark for where they thought the Bucs would be.
The Bucs are 5-7. And Mike Sando of The Athletic points out that’s just about what the sharpies in Vegas thought would happen this past summer.
T-14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-7)
Vegas: 6.5 | On pace for: 6.7 | Gap: +0.2
The Bucs are right on schedule, which isn’t where they wanted to be. They’ve won three of four, playing better defense.
We will find out in a handful of hours if the Bucs really have turned the corner or not. If they have put their rancid past aside or just took advantage of some awful opponents.
The Colts are a talented club that has lost four of five games. But they have proven they can win important games. After all, they were a playoff team last year. And the Colts are not out of the playoffs yet.
The Colts nearly are in a must-win situation. And the Bucs definitely are.
If the Bucs are a good team or just a team getting better, they should beat a team in the midst of a tailspin.

SLOW DOWN. we beat Arizona, Jax, Atl…………..this happens every year we get excited and then reality hits.
Jameis 3 turnovers Tampa Loses a close one tomorrow 23-27
Expect the exact same result as the Tenessee Game, Second Panther Game, and First Saints Game.
We will be in the game but simply not good enough to overcome “beating ourselves”.
The problem is when we need to get first downs when the game is tight……we don’t. When we need our defense to make a stop………..we do sometimes but most of the time we don’t
Look for the Bucs to finish 7-9 splitting the last 4 games.
YOU HEARD IT HERE.

Like always I want the team to win
but then like always there’s doubt.

Will all the stars align again ..at home?

The Colts ARE in a must-win situation … if they lose, they can kiss the playoffs good-bye. The Bucs? Not a must-win from a playoff berth perspective (that ship sailed), but a must-win in terms of continuing to build confidence in this young team. This game, and the 3 that follow, set the tone for next year IMO.

The Bucs MUST LOSE! in order to secure a better draft pick.
December 8th, 2019 at 6:55 am
COLTS SUPERSTAR LB DARIUS LEONARD is quoted on the ESPN Preview for this game, as saying this about FAMOUS JAMEIS WINSTON:
“He can throw the ball,” Leonard said. “I know what kind of guy he is, I know what kind of leader he is and he’s throwing the ball to a lot of his receivers. He knows how to make a play down the field. He’s definitely one of those great quarterbacks.”

At least we ain’t behind schedule. Next year will be better.
December 8th, 2019 at 7:18 am
Colts 20 Bucs 10. Colts have a legit defense.
December 8th, 2019 at 8:09 am
Still no predictions from me. I just want a good football game, and playing to lose does not provide that.
I don’t care about the draft. We’re not picking first no matter what, and that’s the only pick worth tanking for in my book. If we need to pick sooner than wherever we are, then we trade up.
But the draft comes later. Win now.
December 8th, 2019 at 8:19 am
10 points eh Jeff??? That is your prediction for a team that is averaging 28 per game? Are you a Bucs fan or just trolling the site? My guess is either a Colts fan or a Jameis hater because predicting this offense will put up just 10 points is idiotic.

@Tampabaybucs55… That’s right! Embrace the Bucs war cry…, Wait till NEXT year!?? Btw I’m not criticizing you my fellow Bucs fan just pointing out the obvious. I’m tired of NEXT year. When oh when will NEXT year be THIS year???
December 8th, 2019 at 9:48 am
Amen, BB. Great football weather today, and the Bucs will win.
December 8th, 2019 at 9:52 am
The sheep cannot recognize how the schedule has been incredibly soft and weak this season!!!!!!! Bucs have been very healthy and nothing to show for it!!!!!!!!!!! Projecting next year schedule will not be the cake walk that it was this year!!!!!!!!!!!
2020 will expose the Bucs to the last of the sheep, as the garbage franchise that the are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
December 8th, 2019 at 10:11 am
Im definitely in the hope we win out camp. Losing ends now. To hell with tanking for pick. We should trade back for more picks anyways
December 8th, 2019 at 10:12 am
We’ve put up 17 points twice this year….. 10 is a possibility.
You do understand what an AVERAGE is right TBBF?
December 8th, 2019 at 10:56 am
Actually I’d feel better about this game if it was played in Indy. Bucs don’t play well in Tampa. Probably because when they look into the stands they see all the local yocals have sold their seats to the visiting team.

If tickets were $20 and the stadium had free parking, I’d be there. Nice weather today. Unfortunately, two tickets plus parking plus a modest food and drink bill… and I suddenly remember this team is out of the playoffs and put my wallet back in my pocket.
December 8th, 2019 at 11:45 am
Don’t spin it Joe they won 3 of 4 playing bad teams…..
December 8th, 2019 at 11:47 am
JW is due for one of his 4-5 turnover games and then BA blames everyone else for the turnovers.
December 8th, 2019 at 11:51 am
We smoke em today. 31 17

All the draft position losers don’t forget to wear your Jacoby Brissett Jersey today.

Today’s game against the Colts and the game 2 weeks from now against the Texans should answer a LOT of questions for us. Questions like ‘Can our offense play well against quality defenses?’ (Colts are ranked #15 & Texans #17). ‘Can our defense play well now against quality offenses?’ (Colts ranked #17 & Texans #10).
Personally expect a fairly close game, but still think that turnovers will be the deciding factor. Last 2 wins Jameis limited the TOs to 1.5 per game average (2 in Falcons game, 1 in Jags game). IMO that’s acceptable, providing that our defense stands tall.

This game will prove the Buc’s have truly turned the corner and have built this team to go deep into the playoffs next year and the Super Bowl in 2021.
