  1. 813bucboi Says:

    was confident all year….

seeing BL work magic with an inconsistent QB and no run game, along with DBs and cappa developing has me TOTALLY CONFIDENT!!!!!!

    must suck for realist!!!!!…lol…

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  2. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

“C”…only because I am unsure his real feelings on Jameis as the long term solution to the Bucs starting QB dilemma …he knows best as he sees EVER ball Jameis throws in practice and during the games from multiple angles with the benefit of knowing what play was called and how Jameis responded…

  3. Ghost of Darrell Henderson Says:

91% positive is pretty good after an up and down season.

  4. Tampa Bay Demon Says:

94% of JoeBucsFan members are confident in Bruce Arians.

    That is pretty impressive.

Anytime you get THAT MANY of us on the same page about ANYTHING.

  5. LaMarcus Says:

I’m totally confident in BA and of course Todd Bowles when it took 8 weeks to figure out the defense. 8 weeks!!!!

Still could of saved our season long ago when we were primed to trade for a corner and ditching Vh3 early on

But still I know we only had a qb and 2 wrs most of the year carrying this team and did pretty in my opinion

AND NO INTS DONT MATTER. #KEEPFIRING. #NORISKITNOBISCUIT

  6. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Went Very Confident for the first time this year.

I think it is a more than fair evaluation after being Little Confidence all year.

When I chose, I considered the state f the team before he came, how it has progressed, and finally how it looks going forward.

Win or lose the final game, there is no arguing that this team is better than it has been in years.

    My questions going forward concern:

    • Can they maintain the Defensive Line and build on it?

    • Can they address the Right Tackle position?

    • Can the secondary keep improving?

    • And finally, can they make the right decisions with Jameis?

I think we learned to trust Arians this year, or at least I did:

    • Bruce Arians and Jason Licht turned out to be a great combination. The draft picks have worked out well and Free Agency was nearly perfect.

    • People disagreed with the secondary draft picks, but with development, they seem to be working out.

    • Complain about the cap situation all you want, but the bottom line is that Jason Licht managed to work within the budget, and he even has a surplus going forward (how much I’m not sure).

    • Kicking issues seem to be solved!

    • Barrett!

    • JPP is amazing too. Having him and Barrett on opposite sides for a full season would be amazing…but I don’t think JPP will stay.

  7. D-Rome Says:

I want to hear from the three people that have zero confidence!

  8. Tampa Bay Demon Says:

^^ No doubt, D-Rome. That is pretty ridiculous.

  9. Son Of Kobe Faker Says:

    “Stubbornness,

is the downfall of marriages, relationships, businesses, and overall wellbeing

    and more importantly

forces Kobe Faker to vote no confidence”

    Kobe Faker

  10. D-Rome Says:

Yeah but Son of Kobe Faker, what does your dad think? Your reasons make no sense so I’m hoping the old man can clarify.

  11. Craig Says:

I am going to reserve judgement until the draft. If Arians can overrule Licht’s horrid ideas of what drafting players means and draft some good fits I will be almost confident.

I do think that his huge staff is more of a drawback than an advantage. Too many cooks.

If we come up with Delpit in round one it would add a few more points. If he doesn’t knuckle under on the Jameis thing, I would be in the 95% range.

  12. AwShbucs Says:

Same vote as every week. Totally confident. Not nearly as fickle as most.

  13. Tampabuscsbro Says:

wasn’t Kobe Faker supposed to leave here forever after ronald jones week one performance.

Kobe faker you do know things are working out correct? then again you only make these long sweeping statements that hardly make any sense.

  14. lewis Says:

I like our coach but his affair with JW maybe the thing that destroys him

  15. Bucsfanman Says:

“Totally Confident” and haven’t wavered. The difference NOW is that we are actually witnessing player development, for a change.

  16. Tampa Bay Demon Says:

    ^^ Great point, Bucsfanman.

  17. T REX Says:

WHere are all the we’re going to the playoffs idiots?

  18. 813bucboi Says:

only had a QB and 2WRs carry the team?….lol….

    thats the dumbest comment ever…..

we lost by 3points and our QB threw 4INTs including a pick6…..lol…..

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  19. Defense Rules Says:

Very Confident for the 1st time. BA put together an impressive staff that’s now paying dividends in many different ways. I’m especially impressed with the job that Todd Bowles has done with this young defense. And for those crediting Jason Licht with drafting White, SMB, Dean, Edwards & Nelson, I’m still personally convinced that the COST of getting TB to sign on here in Tampa was letting HIM make those draft picks, not JL. I do credit JL however with drafting Vea, Davis, Whitehead, Justin Evans, Cichy, MJ Stewart, Ryan Smith who are all still with us, plus VHIII & Bond who aren’t.

  20. Rodney Munch Says:

Before the season I predicted 7-9, would finish with a top 5 offense and a bottom 5 defense.

They could finish 8-8, then again the Falcons are 5-2 over their last 7, which is slightly better than the 4-2 the Bucs are over their last 6.

Either way, 7-9 or 8-8, this season is what I expected. A defense that was horrific early (well past the first 2 games), that slowly improved. Plus an offense that puts up a ton of points.

Great thing is that next year, with Winston in his 2nd year of the offense and the young DB’s with a year under their belt, I expect a big leap – currently 11-5. Obviously once we see how the offseason goes that number can change, but seeing how this team wins games it should win (minus Gay blowing an easy kick) – it will then start closing out teams, like Seattle and Houston, and suddenly, you’re playing meaningful football the entire year.

It’s an exciting future – except for the NeverWinston’ers who want the team to fail and hope Mike Glennon returns.

  21. JimmyJack Says:

Always been totally confident. Probably cause I’m biased towards old school mentality.

T-Rax I predicted 11-5. Was hoping for a quicker turnaround. And if we had the defense that’s playing right now I think we could have gotten those 11 wins. In hindsight I may of been a bit naive to think we could change to a entirely new defensive philosphy without growing pains.

I’ll take the trade-off of wins to have an actual legitimate defense moving forward…..Can’t wait to see em do it again on Sunday. I hope we crush Matt Ryan’s bones again like last time. That was freaking fun!!!

    GO BUCS!!!

  22. Bucsfanman Says:

T REX- I’m the ‘idiot’ that always says “16-0”! I figure aim high and if we lose early my expectations aren’t as high. Plus, I need to remain consistent.
I’ll be here in 2020 talkin’ 16-0! Book it!

  23. JimmyJack Says:

Also Sundays game is monumental for the Bucs. If we crush the Falcons good enough it will force them to fire a good HC. Their whole staff will go too and they will be forced to make wholesale changes that will send them down to the cellar. Heck, a good half the Falcon fans already want Matt Ryan out. If we beat them they will plummet hard.

We already knocked Cam Newton out for the season and ended his career in Carolina which in turn forced them to kneejerk fire a really good HC. We will own them moving forward.

Now let’s end the Falcons and set our sights on New Orleans. This is why we need Suh. Bress can’t handle one of his hits. Suh will send him straight to IR if he can get past that All Pro wall they got their……Bowles got all off-season to figure that one out. Shouldn’t be a problem.

  24. El Buco Realisto Says:

Nothing that ole stale biscuit claimed this past offseasons was true!!!!!!!!! The only upgrade was a very soft schedule, a very healthy team, and a good pick up in Shaq B and upgrading from she-mc to N. Suh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sad that the sheep that are left think that this team is headed anywhere!!!!!!!!!! They will be eliminated from playoffs even earlier next year with a tougher schedule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s a sad state for this franchise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  25. Rodney Munch Says:

JimmyJack – Why in the world would you have predicted a team with absolutely no secondary, in the first year of a new coach, would go 11-5? That was quite the leap.

However, next year, I think that big jump is coming.

BTW, I haven’t predicted anything more than a very hesitant 9-7 over the last 15 years. So I’m excited about next year since I’m thinking 11-5. I haven’t been anywhere close to as excited and optimistic about this team since the 2003. Winston will be back, there is no doubt there, so the only question is who they lose on defense. But the offense and defense will be even better next year, and it will be incredibly exciting. If we can get back to that 1997 feeling, how excited this town was about the Bucs, it will be incredible.

  26. 813bucboi Says:

    realist

BA took that biscuit, shoved it up your @$$ and made you, smitty and dirk eat it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hope your mom has room down in the basement for 1 more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dirk is coming to stay with you and smitty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!!!
