Decision Jameis Poll No. 1

November 12th, 2019

Have your say in this new, weekly, 24-hour poll on the Bucs future of Jameis Winston, America’s Quarterback. Poll posted at 4:19 a.m.

93 Responses to “Decision Jameis Poll No. 1”

  1. July Joe Says:

Jameis Winston is leading the #3 scoring offense in the entire NFL even though he still is getting very little run support, plus he’s probably going to win the passing yard title this year, and Licht and Arians love him.

Jameis will get $$$ PAID $$$ and the early votes on this poll show almost 80% think the Bucs should extend him!

Now … when I check this poll later today, I’m sure all the whackos with their (15) different screen names will have voted to send JW packing, but those IDIOTS are clowns, so pay them no mind.

  2. Señor Harry in Costa Rica Says:

    @July Joe, well said

  3. Alanbucsfan Says:

    Wins>turnovers
When he starts winning, the turnovers will be minimized.
UNTIL he starts winning , Jameis needs to minimize turnovers.

  4. SteveK Says:

Too many turnovers. Let Jameis get paid elsewhere. Our team can’t overcome all the turnovers to get to the playoffs. Too much boom or bust. Can’t win like that as evidenced by the last four plus years. No thanks. I’m good. Seen enough.

  5. Scottish bucbob Says:

Get the secondary fixed and that will stop Jameis trying to be superman.
Would you rather go back to Glennon, McCown or Fitzpatrick?????
Jameis has the talent, just need a competent defence to pull their weight.
It’s not the offence that’s keeping us from winning more games.

  6. Marlow1976 Says:

Can’t let a QB go without a solid backup plan. As of today, we do not have a backup plan.

  7. ATrain Says:

What is he going to show in his 6th year we haven’t seen in 5?

He had his time to show what kind of QB he is.

So we pay him 22million and draft a QB to replace him and think Jamies will play better?

  8. Noles Says:

I think a 2yr deal w like 17 mil a yr guaranteed would be great deal, then if he plays out of his mind then he gets the big $100 mil plus deal

  9. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

Offer him a 3 year deal at 21 million a year, 3rd year is a club option

He won’t get that on the open market

Bucs can’t be stupid and bid against themselves

Rookies are coming in and playing well, can’t overpay for a inconsistent qb when this team has so many holes

  10. stpetebucsfan Says:

I voted franchise although in all honesty that MAY be too much money.

I’m with BA who said in response to this question….JW has played well enough the past two weeks to merit continued opportunity…let’s see how he does the rest of the year.

IMHO JW hasn’t really won the games this year…but aside from London he hasn’t lost them.

I believe our D is improving and pretty rapidly so the final half dozen games we may get a preview of next year and some answers. Again we’ve had our answer on VHG….JW is still a question mark for me.

Can’t live with him can’t live with him.

  11. Sleepy903 Says:

I wish we could like some of these comments. all of the comments early on make sense. Sign him to a 3 year deal with the 3rd year being a an option with incentives like Loyaltotheend section 312 says. That gives you two drafts to fill holes and draft qb with high upside and allow him to sit. If JW pans out then cool you keep him if the qb you drafted within those 3 years is showing promise and possibly able to take over even better. That way you get some type of value for either JW or the backup with huge upside.

Lamar Jackson, Pat Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady all sat, watched and learned. Its rare you get a Rookie to come in and play at a high level I don’t care how good they were in college.

  12. Jim Says:

My vote would have been to make a low-ball non-guaranteed offer while drafting a QB; let him test the market. Winston may yet develop into a capable QB, but after five years this was supposed to be his prove-it year and he hasn’t delivered. Make a low offer, use your dollars to build the team and have a back-up plan.

  13. JP_09 Says:

With you @Jim, offer him another one year 15-20 million dollar contract, draft a QB early still. If Jamie’s improves I’m his second year under Arians then you give him a contract, if not you have your back up plan. You can’t let him go and you can’t sign him to a long term deal yet

  14. Defense Rules Says:

Limited value survey because it’s restricted to just 3 options: (1) franchise Jameis; (2) sign him to a multi-year deal; and (3) let him walk. Those 3 options leave out that the whole process is a NEGOTIATION and none of those options may yield a reasonable outcome.

Franchise-tagging James for 1 year could cost around $30 mil. Sorry, he’s not worth THAT much, and committing $30 mil (or more) to him limits signing other FAs we desperately NEED. Signing Jameis to a multi-year deal COULD also cost that much, depending upon the length of the contract, the guaranteed money AND on what Jameis sees as his future (HE may want to move on regardless). Letting him walk is obviously a viable option, preferred by many probably, BUT there’s a 4th option which may well come into play (for a period of time at least).

Spotrac has Jameis’ market value currently listed as $23.4 mil (they rank him in the middle-of-the-pack for starting QBs). Jameis (and his agent) may well want a lot more than that, who knows. I think there’s a decent chance that the Bucs offer him a short (2-3 year) contract at less-than-market value (say $15-$20 mil with only 1 year guaranteed) but may well be willing to gamble $23-$25 mil for 2-3 more years. I’m convinced that BA will make that determination (subject to the Glazers override veto of course). In the end though, it’s still a negotiation.

Bucs have until 10 March 2020 to decide to franchise Jameis and until 18 March 2020 to make a decision about re-signing him (when FA officially starts). Without having any idea what other QBs MIGHT be on the market then & which (if any) would appeal to the Bucs, it’s impossible to decide which way to go. One thing I do know though … it sure would be nice to have at least a feel for what Ryan Griffin brings to the table. He’s the ONLY QB we have under contract for next year at this moment.

  15. Waterboy Says:

Depends on how much of a multi-year deal. I’d possibly do a 3 yr/24 mil a year contract with 2 yrs guaranteed over a franchise tag but would do a franchise tag over a 30 mil a year contract if that’s what he’s looking for.

  16. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

    Jameis’s bad stats > Jameis’s good stats
    Excuses are for losers

  17. Aceofaerospace Says:

I’d franchise him, but I’d draft a QB in the early rounds.

  18. Colonel Angus Says:

Gotta let the season play out. If Bucs manage to dig out of this hole and get to
8-8 and he shows consistency, I say franchise him and draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. If he craps the bed, then let him walk. 7 games left.

  19. Ed Says:

No to franchising him, as others say this is not a $30,000,000 quarterback. A career loser who hasn’t been in playoffs, has a low pass completions %, leads the NFL in taking sacks and has the most interceptions. To his credit he is amongst the top of the league in passing yardage and is averaging 2 TD’s a game.

Summing up all of those bad/good traits is a totally middle to lower middle of the road QB. In the new NFL the dinosaur quarterbacks that are big, immobile guys who have to have a clean pocket is not the quarterbacks to build with.

The Russell Wilson’s, Patrick MaHolmes’, Aaron Rogers’, Lamar Jackson and Kyler Deshawn Watson and Kyler Murray’s of the league give you best chance of winning the way they extend plays..

Great example last night, facing the best pass rush in the game from the 49ers, Russell Wilson continued plays and knew how to avoid sacks. Garrappalo on the 49ers couldn’t move and the Seahawks took care of him.

The Bucs for years now have had immobile QBs and with a poor OL you can’t win with these guys.

You have to find these athletic quarterbacks that have pocket awareness and escapabilty. Jared Goff is a really good passer but doesn’t have that ability and he is struggling.

It’s hard to watch Jameis vs a good pass rush, he struggles where the athletic smaller QBs are like point guards in basketball, they can dominate a big mans game with moves and speed. The Winston-Big Ben quarterbacks are no longer the most desirable types of QBs anymore.

    Time to move forward.

  20. Capt. Tim Says:

Jameis leafs the league in blah blah blah.
Jameis is the number one passer in blah blah blah

    Jameis QB rating 83.8
As we sail to yet another 4-12 season, the statistic loves continue to embrace Jameis.
He has too many turnovers, to be a winning QB.
Thats about as simple as it gets

  21. Lheew Says:

Ed have you ever watched a Bucs game? Jameis is immobile? He doesn’t have escapability… wtf are you talking about? The minority that wants to get rid of Jameis Winston dont know what the heck they’re watching

  22. 2020 What is the bucs future plan? Says:

the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expect differant results……. forest gump says dont change a thing…….

  23. miken Says:

If you draft a guy #1 overall and 5 years later you have to take a poll if you want to keep him or not … then you know theres a problem.

  24. Allbuccedup Says:

July Joes are the reason this franchise has sucked for the last ten years and counting. July Joe is the real clown.

  25. Allbuccedup Says:

July Joe, I am the king of idiots. He will praising Jay Miss when he tanks against the saints.

  26. Ndog Says:

Ed days that yet if the 9ers make a freaking kick they win the game and are undefeated. Just more CLUELESS garbage from the masses.

  27. Steven007 Says:

Given his limitations, the fact remains that even with an average defense we’ve got probably two more wins maybe three. I voted to franchise him to give him one more year under this new system to see how he does. That would probably only cost us one or two million more then an annual long-term deal and would give us some flexibility moving forward depending on next year.

  28. Lheew Says:

The vocal minority here is loud and Ignorant, they can’t wait to run the best QB the Bucs have ever had. Excited for Jameis to be on this team moving forward!

  29. Sleepy903 Says:

“Capt. Tim Says: Aren’t the number interceptions a stat as well?”

We have a lot more holes to fill than just QB. Like BA said he puts you in a position to win most games. QB’s have bad games and people like to talk about Jameis bad games. Out of 9 games he has had 2 horrible games. Against the Panthers and San Fran. San Fran has the best defense in the league by not wasting first round picks on rookie QB’s.

So by that measure if Jameis has 3 bad games a year Tampa would be looking at 13-3 every year if we had a serviceable Defense. Ill even give an additional 2 below average games. Tampa would be 11-5 and looking at the playoffs.

He turns the ball over we get that. But if the Defense could hold teams to 20-24ppg Jameis has a chance to win those games. Right now we have to score 34 ppg to win. That means you need the number 1 offense every week to win. There isnt a team in the league averaging 34 ppg. Meaning there isnt a QB that can overcome how poor this defense is playing.

  30. JP_09 Says:

The best QB the Bucs have ever had isn’t really saying all that much. It’s still to early to tell, these last 7 games will play a vital part in the overall decision, if he continues to improve in this offense then he’ll be back, if he plays like he did against the 9ers or Panthers it’ll be hard to pay him. Bottom line is he has to cut down the turnovers.

  31. Pewter power Says:

Looks like the winston bashers are in the minority. You nuts watch one team play all year and should have watched Jimmy G missing all kinds of throws last night. Every quarterback misses passes and seattle dropped like 4 interceptions. Niners ain’t 8-1 because of the quarterback, its actually a complete team something licht cant seem to put together. By the time the defense gets fixed mike Evans will be old and slow

  32. Kobe Faker Says:

    “Lol. Posters trying to forecast

Koetter had 3 years to turn this team around

Grandpa Smurf will get 3 years to turn this team around

Grandpa Smurf wants JW to turn this team around

Grandpa Smurf conned Glazers in 5 yrs extension for Gump

Glazers still will get $220 million each year from NFL TV revenue and stadium revenue is irrelevant

We have 2 more years of Grandpa Smurf, Gump, and JW3

Kobe Faker has posted and it shall be”

    Shaman Kobe Faker

  33. AtlBucFanDan Says:

A two or three year deal sounds like a better bet* as per some of the longer winded posts. A franchise tag seems like it surely will limit our options to keep our D-line (mostly) intact. Our secondary still needs a veteran presence. I like what the coaches are doing, so far.

*Unless Teddy Bridgewater becomes available, there really aren’t any great options at QB that I think can do better than JW

  34. Robert Says:

backup money is the most they should pay…….because he is no better than a backup. hell he gets beat by every backup he plays

  35. Robert Says:

1/3 of the people say let him walk. only 20% say long term deal

so 1/3 are done and most say maybe…give him another short leash. only 20%^!!! are certain and they would say that if he did anything……… the poll says fans are done with him, and might tolerate another year or two…and you can bet thats only cause he’s so young.

  36. Jmarkbuc Says:

    SPBF…

With all due respect…you are the Switzerland of posters, as of late.

  37. Rayjay1122 Says:

I said sign to multi year extension but not because I think he is good or will ever be a winning QB but just the opposite. Licht was extended so he and the Glazers deserve Winston. Maybe 3 to 5 more years of winning 4 or 5 games will finally free Tampa of Licht and Winston.

  38. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Pewter power,

“Niners ain’t 8-1 because of the quarterback, its actually a complete team something licht cant seem to put together.”

Exactly why you let JW walk. In your own words. We need far more than a below avg roller coaster QB…we can get one of those anywhere.

  39. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Ray jay

Cutting off your nose to spite your face?

  40. Dapostman Says:

    Offensive points per game:

    8-1 49’ers > 10
    5-4 Panthers > 20
    2-8 Giants > 31
    5-4 Rams > 48
    7-2 Saints > 24
    5-4 Panthers > 26
    5-5 Titans > 23
    8-2 Seahawks > 34
    3-6-1 Cardinals > 30

Sign Winston to a team friendly 3 year deal. Something like 3/80mil, 66mil guaranteed. That will be a bargain as teams pay QB’s 30mil+.

The offense will be even more potent with RoJo and finding a more reliable 3rd wr.

  41. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

    MoveOn.Bucs !

  42. Robert Says:

JW, just like Gerald Mccoy on the other side, is the reason for mediocrity. Get rid of the so called “star” who never lives up to it, and let the other guys shine.

  43. Buc4evr Says:

Simple: franchise tag him and draft six QB’s next year… lol.

  44. bucfan999 Says:

    The fans have spoken —-

    Keep him = 68%

Get Rid of Him = 28%

  45. BrianBucs Says:

Franchising Winston would just mean another wasted year and just postponing the inevitable

  46. pepsi Says:

I dont even know Franchising him would say. Yea well pay him a boat load for one more year because we think we like him enough, but we’re not going to extend him because were not totally sure going on year 6? I mean really? Either lock him down as the QB you plan to roll with or move on and find a new guy under center.

  47. Bucfan81 Says:

I voted let him go and I hope they just do that. JW is not worth the franchise tag number and he isn’t worth a long term deal. You franchise him and you are saying we need another year to see what he is. It has been 5 years he sucks he turns the ball over way to much. He doesn’t win games and he is inconsistent. On top of that this team needs to spend money in other places. The right side of the line needs help and we could use some more help on the defense.

  48. 813bucboi Says:

only fsu blowhards want to resign JW…..lol….

after 5 years we still have questions that we’ve had for the past 3years….

let him walk, build the trenches then get a QB

    GO BUCS!!!!

  49. Defense Rules Says:

bucfan999 … I can make a survey give me any answer I want to hear just by structuring the options certain ways. And that’s all this supposed ‘survey’ did.

Ask those same respondents ‘Would you give Jameis a 4 year deal totaling $140 mil with a signing bonus of $65 mil? and see how many support that. My guess is that the ‘survey’ results you quoted would be exactly reversed.

That contract BTW was what it cost the Seattle Seahawks to sign Russell Wilson earlier this year. Works out to $35 mil per year.

Or ask them if they’d franchise tag him if the cost was $32 mil. That very likely could be what a franchise tag on him would cost in 2020. I couldn’t support that because it’d prevent us from doing other things that I’d value more (like re-signing some of our DLine beasts like Suh, JPP, Barrett or Nassib). Could you?

  50. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Sign Him To A Multiyear Contract.

With only 2 years guaranteed and incentives. Then start drafting QBs as a backup plan and start developing them.

  51. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    813bucboi Says
“only fsu blowhards want to resign JW”

You are 100% wrong, because I don’t care what school he went to. I don’t watch college football.

  52. Sleepy903 Says:

Bucfan81 the team has spent money in the past and top free agents. Majority of the free agents we bring here do not pan out. They get a check and Leave. V. Jax and Jensen are the only players I can remember that we got in free agency that actually started and played worth something. So why continue with the same trend.

A high-end DB would be nice but outside of that I think we a good draft, resign our free agents and fill the rest with the draft and wasting a 1st round pick on another QB isnt it. We need a sure fire starter in the secondary to pair with a DB we get in free agency. If we can keep Shaq and JPP that would be great. The front 7 would be solidified.

Draft Jeff Okudah from Ohio state if possible, Pair with a free agent corner or safety thats a proven leader. Get a RT in the second round. Trey Adams 3rd round get a RB or a third WR. Then draft for more depth on the Oline, LB and DLine. 2021 you draft a QB with a lot of upside.

  53. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I don’t begrudge people on their opinion on the matter though. I can understand why a lot of people are giving up on him. The lack of wins. The turnovers.

I just don’t completely agree with them.

See, when I started working, I was taught you don’t quit a job until you have one to replace it. The way I see it, you don’t dump a QB until you have one to replace him.

While I would love to see what Griffin can do, I’m not secure in his abilities. I’m sure the people who want to tank would love to see him start though.

  54. ben Says:

buc fans should want more the a below average qb ..or not?

  55. unbelievable Says:

should be an option for “sign him to team-friendly, 2 year deal….”

  56. unbelievable Says:

    @Bonzai-

813 is just mad b/c his mancrush VH3 was released this morning after underperforming for another year.

  57. Robert Says:

ask yourself….what other QB can we get to throw multiple picks per game and hail mary’s to ME.

answer…….any joe blo off the street!

  58. Buccfan37 Says:

Winston sailed too many passes over open receivers heads against the Cards but the Bucs escaped with the win. What we see is what we get and expect to see going forward. I’m guessing our starting QB will return next year. Win a few more games to the finish, BA and Licht will go another round with Winston. Big change is not in the immediate future.

  59. TruckerBuc Says:

As well as he plays, it comes down to whether we can win a Super Bowl. Jameis ALWAYS goes “bad Jameis” in big games. We would need an elite defense to compliment his game and we shouldn’t need to play against our own franchise QB. Cut him, draft a rookie, use cap space to extend contracts for players that produce, and fix secondary. Not worth $30 million a year to keep him.

  60. JWBUCS Says:

Franchise Tag would be really foolish because Bucs would be way over paying this guy, and then any multi-year contract in the future would be out of hand…. I suggest they offer him like 12.4 to 14 million annually for say a 4 year deal or simply let him walk.

  61. Mark Says:

Franchise him. I may need him on my fantasy team next year.

  62. THETRUTH Says:

OFFER not a penny more than 15 mill… anyone want to pay more take him he has not proven to be worth more and worth tying up franchise money..

  63. Buczilla Says:

Signing an erratic quarterback to a major deal that has to yet to prove that he belongs is beyond irresponsible. Jameis is not now, nor do I think he will ever be worth more than middle of the pack, backup money.

We need all the cap space that we can get to fix the rest of this sorry a$$ team. Please, for the love of all that is good in the world, fire Jason Licht Glazers. Draft a cheap rookie qb and build this team the right way.

Jameis is not the second coming of Steve Young, but may be the Jeff George of this generation. Super talented guy who could just never turn the corner. Only a foolish gm (we have one) would give that kind of player bigtime money. We should wash our hands of this dude and wish him the best just like we did punk a$$ Hargreaves. 😂

  64. jmarkbuc Says:

    Bonzai

“The way I see it, you don’t dump a QB until you have one to replace him.”

Look around the league…backups all over the place WINNING games.

I’d rather we trade down, build what we need and THEN look for a “Franchise QB”

We can go 6-10 with JW or any journeyman.

  65. miken Says:

@jmark… we have scored as many Offensive TDs this year thru 9 games as we did last year thru 9 game which Fitz played at least half so your argument is pretty good.

  66. Bigdaddy66 Says:

Franchise Jameis get a good supporting cast around him and he will set the NFL passing records on fire.
Imagine going to your job everyday and being understaffed trying to get it done Correctly.
Not a Jameis but hugger but the guy has talent.

  67. miken Says:

@bigdaddy… under staffed?? lol… 2 all pro WRs, 2 stud TE, decent back, decent O line with 3 really good interior lineman

  68. Allbuccedup Says:

THE TRUTH is right 15 mil about the max 2 or 3 year deal at best 15 guaranteed money at 30 or 45 mil. I don’t believe anyone in the NFL would pay anymore.

  69. Robert Says:

you mean 2-3 mill for a 15 year deal right?

  70. Allbuccedup Says:

  71. TexBuc Says:

I guess some do not remember the days when the Bucs offense rarely were ranked in the top 10. I do and have vivid memories of CPT Checkdown throwing 1 yard passes on 3rd and long and rarely making 1st downs.

  72. TexBuc Says:

My vote would be for a 3 year 72 million with 28 mil guaranteed and offer to him now. Which would average 24 mil a year and with the guaranteed part of the contract give Winston some security now that he is family man. Would also give a below market value deal with the ability to move on after next year IF that is what BA decides to do.

  73. Robert Says:

    texbuc day drinking again….

  74. TexBuc Says:

    robert

I am retired so I could day drink, but a little early for me maybe later

  75. DB55 Says:

For the record I voted and will continue to vote walk bc y’all don’t deserve JayMiss ATM WinsNot the greatest quarterback in the history of the buccaneers

  76. DB55 Says:

Let’s get this straight. Here is the bar for a QB with 14 TDs and 12 Turnovers.

NFL-record $27.5 million per season on his new five-year deal with a whopping $74.1 million in guarantees and a $35 million signing bonus.

And that was last year so next there’s at least a 5-10 mil increase.

Plus the ability/latitude to date porn stars in the off-season.

That’s the bar!!!!! Jimmy did it and Russell did it so now it par for the course.

Bc all of y’all will take good ol jimmy in a heartbeat regardless that he’s trash and be held up be an awesome defense.

  77. SteveK Says:

Jimmy G and Russel Wilson are NOT turnover machines.

Ant pay Jameis all that money. No defense can overcome all those turnovers.

    Nope.

  78. Allbuccedup Says:

One thing about the poll not many fans want to sign him long term.

  79. DB55 Says:

    Steve K

Dude the year Jimmy G signed the contract he had 12 TDs and 8 ints with a total of 10 wins in 2 years.

    This year he’s 14/12.

What’s the difference? 8-1? Maybe bc of his defense and running game. Come on man. The market is set.

  80. Stanglassman Says:

70% want to keep him. Franchise or long term.
30% want him gone. I always knew it was just a loud minority but wow. JBF is where all the Jameis haters congregate so 7-3 is as good as it gets. It’s definitely an over sampling of anti-Jameis, so called fans.

  81. Noel Bello Says:

    Joe Burrow

  82. Bird Says:

    Db55

    He has 18 turnovers
    Leads the league in TOs

But whose counting. You never do
Around 100 turnovers in “less then 5 years

    😂

You are right. He is the bestest

  83. Anonymous Says:

Important is a poll that is a representative of the sample size of local ticket buying fans. This is a gage maybe for those who read this site. It is telling that out of those, more than a third want Winston gone. Projections are from independent research that IS scientific, and backed up by the fact all of 40K bothers to show up Sunday (much less than number of tickets sold), demonstrate the “non-JBFers” are probably much more disgusted. Have to add, many of losers here are just Jameis lovers, not Bucs fans. Probably can’t afford to by a TV to watch, much less go to games.

  84. ManzielMadness Says:

We All know who JW is… will give you more turnovers however also adds more points… quite the emotional roller coaster while watching him.. can he carry a team by himself? No. No shame in it. Sean Payton and Drew Brees we’re stuck in a 7-9 purgatory until they started building up their Defense. Offer Jameis a 2-3 year deal-whenever the new CBA expires and start addressing the defense and the LINES.

  85. Joe Says:

Important is a poll that is a representative of the sample size of local ticket buying fans. This is a gage maybe for those who read this site.

There is a very good chance as many people will vote on this poll as there were fans in the seats on Sunday.

  86. Wesley Says:

SMH So a lot of you want to waste even more time? Jameis simply isn’t good enough. And if you can’t throw a deep ball then what the hell? Do you really think he’ll suddenly change? In todays NFL you need an elite q.b., I get there’s not many of them, but you have to keep searching until you find one. The ONLY other way you win is to have an incredible once in a decade type of defense (bears, ravens, bucs).

  87. Wesley Says:

Throw your stats out the window. If Jameis passes your eye test you’re blind.

  88. Tye Says:

Shows the mental state of Bucs fans… 5-11 seasons are welcomed and rewarded.
5-11 be the norm the next 5 years and we don’t need nor wanted a celebrated qb.
Mediocre qb every few games is good enough for us…

Playoffs must be overrated to these people…Bottom of the NFCS for the next 5 years is welcomed and celebrated..
Bad teams staying trapped as bad teams making one bad investment after another… Never will be relevant without an NFL quality qb ~ NFL history!

  89. Dom>Licht Says:

Regardless if we sign or cut Winston lose DO any of you believe Licht can build a competitive roster thru the draft or Free agents? We’re doomed regardless of the Winston decision!

  90. Aaron Says:

I was about to type what Dom just stated…no hope…we are doomed

  91. Dapostman Says:

Packers with Rodgers have scored 250 pts in 10 games. Bucs have scored 260 pts in 9 games.

Typical Buc fan, “Winston is a bust.”

  92. SteveK Says:

    Postman,

How many turnovers does Rodgers have? I am willing to bet his turnover ratio is leaps and bounds better.

Do you think our losing record is a product of all the turnovers bc I do.

  93. Dapostman Says:

    @Steve K,

Your opinion on turnovers doesn’t over weigh the fact that Winston’s team averages 3-4 more pts per game than Rodgers team does. Now if Winston cuts down the turnovers you could argue that his team may average another 1-3 pts more. My opinion on the losing record is because this defense is a sieve, the pk missed a PAT FG and the ref blew a play dead to early.

So as I like to say you are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.
